My friends and I frequent Paso a few times a year and usually stay at different houses each time. This time we wanted a house with a pool/hot tub plus somewhere nice where we could just hang out, cook dinner and relax. This house delivered in all fronts! This was one of the nicest houses we've stayed at in Paso, the house exceeds the expectations of the beautiful photos here. Plus, the owners took care of us and were excellent hosts. On top of the excellent accommodations, we just liked the layout of the house too, it's built for entertaining, thus perfect for everyone to hang out around the house together. We were greeted with complimentary wine from the winery which we immediately opened and enjoyed. Hot tub was great and we spent every night in it after wine tasting. Pool was clean and the pool chairs we're excellent for lounging with a view of the vineyard as a backdrop. The winery is beautiful and the house gave us gorgeous views in just about every direction. We enjoyed a sunset walk through the vineyard and on the last day stayed inside to watch the Euro Cup! We will most definitely be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We think our house has a great floorplan! So glad you enjoyed your stay. You were great houseguests

We were a group of six that wanted to take a trip to Paso Robles because we enjoyed the wines from this region. We were all from Louisiana--not a hop, skip, and jump to Paso--but well worth the trip. We stayed at this beautiful vineyard during the October Harvest Festival. After entering the gates of the estate grounds, we stopped to sample their wine varieties in their newly opened tasting room. All the wines were excellent! We were greeted with a bottle of wine, cheese, crackers, and a refrigerator stocked with some breakfast necessities. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of their 3 bdrm, 3 bath immaculate home. After a full day of visiting the nearby wineries, we enjoyed preparing meals in the well-equiped kitchen or grill outdoors. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and viewing an endless amount of stars. This vacation will add years to your life.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: So glad you enjoyed your stay in our home and in Paso Robles. We think everyone should put Paso on their bucket list.

Our stay at this wonderful vineyard home was everything we wanted and more. The owners thought of everything from eggs, muffin, coffee and creamer already in the frig to their own wine waiting for us when we arrived. The pool and hot tub were also lovely and overlooking their vineyard. There were so many wineries so close, yet so different from Napa. I would highly recommend this property and would love to visit again soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We would love for you and your friends to visit again! Our tasting room should be opening soon!!!

Our Wine Tasting Weekend Get Away was wonderful! The Vineyard Home at Barr Creek Vineyard was even better than we expected. The home was spacious, tastefully decorated and immaculate. We took walks through the vineyard in the morning, sampling the grapes that were ready for harvest. The Barrs were gracious hosts, greeting us at our arrival for a tour of their beautiful home and grounds. They even treated us to two bottles of their wine! The property is close to several small wineries that we enjoyed visiting and only 10 minutes from downtown Paso. We are already planning a return visit in the spring.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Looking forward to seeing all of you again! You could not have been better guests.

What a wonderful weekend of wine tasting, relaxing and morning walks on your vineyard. The three bedroom home is cozy and comfortable located on a beautiful vineyard. The listing pictures and description of your home are accurate but your home is even more spectalcular in person. The outdoor patio and pool were a wonderful treat after a long day of wine tasting. Your home is beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the wine from your vineyard, crackers and cheese you presented to us on our arrival day. We would highly recommend your beautiful home to our friends and family and have already booked another wine tasting weekend in 2011!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for staying with us. So happy you enjoyed our home and vineyard. See you in the spring.

We stayed at the house for a week, there were 3 couples and the accomodations were perfect. The three bedrooms with 3 bathrooms provided each couple with the privacy needed. The kitchen was large enough for multiple working hands and we cooked in each night. The pool area is very nice, with a barbeque and hot tub. The location on Union Road provided enough wine tasting opportunities you didn't need to stray far. We would all highly recommend this property to anyone and would go back again. The house was clean, amply furnished and the owners very friendly and helpful. Located on a hill overlooking the vineyard and the stars at night were unbelieveable. We went to Hearst Castle, Morro Bay and Avila Beach - which was a find and would recommend.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed our vineyard home and the surrounding areas. Union Rd. has some great wineries! You were great guests.

Absolutely lovely property. Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful, spotlessly clean inside and very well equipped. Easy access into Paso Robles, whilst having the benefit of the countryside all around. The owners are wonderful people, very welcoming; there if you need them but don't intrude. I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay there, and we certainly hope to be able to visit again soon. We enjoyed the Big Sur drive, San Luis Obispo, Farmer's market in Templeton, the ice cream store and Italian restaurant in Paso.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We would be happy to see you all again. Thanks for staying with us! Glad you enjoyed our home and Paso Robles.

We had a wonderful stay at the vineyard. It was so peaceful and quiet. Staying here was a wonderful break from a busy hotel. I enjoyed being awakend by a distant rooster. The home is nicely decorated, very comfortable with everything in working order. The home is well appointed with some pantry items, pool towels and reading materials. My girls found even games to play with. We would definately come back to stay. It was close to everything in Paso Robles yet had a wonderful country feel. Thanks again, Kathy and familyRecommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you . We enjoyed meeting all of you. Your girls are precious!

Our experience in Paso Robles was simply wonderful. Our hosts went way above the "call of duty" in helping us put together a family reunion get together at the house as well as a wine tour the next day. I had to coordinate a lot of things via email, and it worked out extremely well. The house was so spacious and lovely and relaxing -- it had absolutely everything we needed. We loved sitting by the pool as the sun went down. We hadn't been to Paso Robles for many years, so it was a nice surprise to see how it had grown into such a excellent wine region. Great house, great location and great hosts. We'd love to go back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We enjoyed your visit. You have a wonderful family!

What a wonderful experience. Paso Robles is a beautiful little town with great little shops, good food and excellent wine. Our stay at the vineyard was a great experience and educational as well. We especially enjoyed the sequoia national forest, the coast drive, and lake nacieomento. All very beautiful. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. I'd recommend it to anyone and we'll be back. Winnie & John SheetsDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Perfect location -- quiet, private and a close drive to many of our favorite wineries. Nice, comfortable home and grounds. Beautiful vineyard and olive trees. Sunsets are lovely overlooking all of the grapevines. Truly one of my husbands & my favorite places! The wonderful, accommodating hosts will definitely see us again and again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
