We stayed in this apartment for Christmas - it's great. - Location - in a quiet, pleasant residential neighbourhood of Vinohrady. It's close to the city center - you could walk there in 20-30 minutes, and it is a nice walk, but if you prefer, you could take a tram or underground: Prague has a great system of public transportation, fast and effecient. For some $15 you get a ticket that lets you ride anywhere for 72 hours. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and grocery shops within short walking distance. - The building is deep inside a quiet, very clean courtyard with 24 hour guarded entrance. The building intself is also very clean and quiet. - The apartment itself is just 1 flight of stairs up from entrance. It's light and spacious, with high ceilings, large windows and a balcony. There is an entrance hall, bedroom, living room and kitchen/dining room. It appears newly furnished and supplied with every necessity of life. - There is a king bed in the bedroom, and the sitting room has a very comfortable twin daybed and a sofa that is apparently convertible (haven't tested that one). Plenty of spare sheets and towels. - 2 TVs (1 in the bedroom and 1 in the living room) but no cable. - Wifi works well. - The kitchen has an electric stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster, an electric kettle and a coffee-maker. It also has a full supply of pots and pans, as well as plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware etc. - The bathroom is separate from the toilet and quite large. It has a washing machine though no drier (however a collapsible drying rack is provided). - There were only 2 of us, but I am sure 4 or 5 people could stay there comfortably.

Hi Digby and Marie, > We've been traveling here, in Canada and the US, since returning from Europe, so please excuse the delay in forwarding our comments on the apartment. > Your apartment was perfect for our 17 day visit to Prague. > We found the apartment to be very spacious and very well equipped, including a very comfortable bed, as well as a quiet neighbourhood. It is very well situated in a complex with a first class hotel, excellent security and very close to excellent food shopping and local restaurants. The swimming pool was a bonus. > Public transportation was easily accessible and very efficient, so there was no need to even consider renting a car. > We really enjoyed being "spoiled" by being met at the airport and chauffeured to the apartment and being briefed on Prague, on the way, by Roman. > Putting a three city, European trip together was no small task and we appreciate the excellent communication and cooperation you extended to us. > Prague was just magic. > We'll be recommending the apartment to friends and hope to use it in a future return visit. > Thank you Digby and Marie. > Cheers, > Michael & Carolyn

Woderful apartment

I just got back from Prague and staying at this apartment for several weeks. The owners are great to work with and the driver Roman very pleasant. The apartment truly has everything you'd need and then some. Comfortable, and well secured. It was home away from home. I would recomment this apartment to all visiting Prague.

Great Apartment in a Good Location

We spent twelve nights here in early May 2010. It is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is in a very quiet location away from the hustle of the Old Town, but great tram and metro connections so you can go anywhere in just a few minutes. We found several neighborhood restaurants so after the first two days we always ate in "the neighborhood). Plenty of shops nearby. Didn't use the swimming pool, but it looked nice. Owners were great to work with. Only snafu was driver wasn't at airport when we arrived, but that was quickly resolved by calling him. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay there again if we ever return to Prague. We especially enjoyed being about to attend a concert every night. In writing this review, I tried to think of one negative so the review would sound more believable, but I can't think of a single thing that we would have changed!

We stayed at this wonderful apartment in May, 2009. It is located in a quiet, leafy section just outside the main part of the city with great public transportation -- we quickly learned how to get anywhere we wanted to go, even without any knowledge of Czech. We were delighted with the cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort of the apartment, but our favorite part was the spectacular pool which we used many times. There is a 24-hour manned desk as you enter the courtyard and everyone was pleasant and helpful. The driver who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport was delightful, with lots of information and ideas for things to do. We are property owners as well and we were very pleased and impressed with the quality of this accomodation. Thank you, Digby and Marie!

This was a wonderfully located apartment. We walked everywhere and the trolley was very easy to use. The apartment was extremely comfortable, clean and spacious. We would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back someday!
