This tastefully decorated home is beautiful both inside and out. Upon entering the home a spacious living room is found with soaring cathedral ceilings. From the living and dining room, take in the wonderful view of the screen enclosed pool, spa, and pond. Enjoy sitting on the patio furniture under the covered lanai or on the sunny pool deck.
The contemporary kitchen boasts a breakfast bar, closet pantry, and complete set of appliances (microwave, range, dishwasher and refrigerator). A full size washer and dryer are also included with this vacation home.
The primary master suite features access to the pool deck through sliding glass doors and from the master bathroom. The second master suite (also with its own private bathroom) is located near the front of the home, with the two guest rooms between the master suites.
Location and privacy sets this vacation home apart from the rest. Backing up to a pond/conservation area and located towards the front of Emerald Island, the clubhouse and gated entrance are close by (walking distance). The Emerald Island Resort is manned and secured 24 hours a day has many community amenities. The entrance has the appearance of a five star resort with many large porpoise/dolphin statues and water fountains! The clubhouse has a gym facility, cyber café, game room, WIFI access, and concierge service. Just outside the clubhouse is a pool area with spa and cabana, sand volleyball court, barbeque picnic area, and a tot lot overlooking an expansive lawn and conservation area. Nearby are ponds with water fountains, hiking paths/nature trails, tennis and basketball.
The community is centrally located (about 3 miles to Disney) and minutes from popular US192, shopping, dining, and attractions. A shuttle service to the area’s attractions is available to guests for a nominal fee.

Emerald Island Resort is surrounded by a Conservation Area, it encompasses over 300 acres with 11 heavily wooded acres right in the middle of the community.
It is within minutes of Walt Disney World®, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. The airport is 20-25 minutes away. The beaches and the Kennedy Space Center are only about 45 minutes away! Busch Gardens in Tampa is only a little over an hour's drive.

Thursday, August 13 2009 II thought I would let you know what a wonderful vacation we had in florida!! Thank you so very much for allowing us to rent your home!! It is beautiful there and we really enjoyed it!! The only thing I recommend is that the palm tree branches that belong to the palm near the front door be trimmed back. They literally attacked us as we walked by the sidewalk towards the front door. The house itself is in great condition!! The pool was wonderful and clean. The house itself was clean as well. It could use a few more towels and washcloths especially for larger families that stay there. Also, I wish there was more table seating for more than 6 guests. We have a family of 7 and had to take turns eating at the table. I added a pizza cutter and gallon pitcher for tea to your house. I know that these will be greatly used as well. We really did enjoy using your house for our vacation!! Thank you so very much!!! I would like to know if this house is available Sept. 4-7 for 3 nights? (vrbo # 185251) We have universal season passes and will be returning to the orlando area during this time. Thank you, Lisa

We had a wonderful time in Orlando and enjoyed your house. The only thing I can think of is maybe another TV in the guest room by the garage since all the other rooms have TV's( TV has been added). Your house is very comfortable and such a great location. The Flynn's were easy to work with and even called to make sure we got in okay since there was such heavy rain on our drive down. I will definitely tell family and friends about your house.

We had a wonderful vacation in Florida. Flynn's of Florida responded immediately to our request for help. Their assistance was very professional. Just to clarify, my daughter locked the door when she left the room so there was no emergency. We were puzzled that we could not find a key to unlock the door. The children's room was one of two doors that required a house key to unlock. The gentlemen that responded mentioned that he would attempt to find the keys at his office. Obviously he was unsuccessful and changed both door knobs. The house was perfect for our family and when we return to Orlando some day, we certainly will call you for availability. This was our first experience renting a house and we really enjoyed it, a memorable trip! Thank you, Eric and Francine

I have to tell you, we had a comfortable stay at your home. Both Laurie and myself were very pleased with everything on the property. Biggest draw for us for your house in particular was the private rear area. We took a drive around Emerald Island and noticed that a lot of homes had their pool and patio areas visible to us... not a plus!! Your beds were comfortable, internet and hot tub worked great, pool was warm after first night, house was clean, spacious, decor was attractive, what was not to like??? As much as my husband wanted a BBQ on site, we did not use it, neither of us was interested in cooking! We moved the coffee table in the living area out to the games room, as we had 2 toddlers running around. I asked Laurie her opinion on how the home could be improved, we both had to think long and hard on that one. Only one minor item finally came to mind, and that would be a window dressing or a blind on the front door sidelight. All in all it was a great stay, you have a beautiful home and we will be sure to highly recommend it to any of our friends or family. Regards, Kim Freeman
