A perfect family resort located directly on the beach in the heart of Destin.
Pelican Beach Resort is first class with its amenities. The location is right across the street from the Big Kuhuna Water park, and near many great restaurants. Pelican Beach Resort has 2 heated pools, one strictly outdoor and an indoor/outdoor pool, a kiddie pool and a hot tub. There is an extra large sunning deck right next to the tiki hut, adjacent to the pool. In addition, there is a work out facility, game room, tennis courts, basketball, covered parking, umbrella and chair rentals, and a seasonal deli/restaurant/convenience store on site.
Located on the 11th floor where ocean/beach views can been seen from the living room, dining room, and master bedroom, our 2 bedroom/2 bath condo comes fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. The living room has a sofa sleeper. There is a washer and dryer in the condo.

This was a great place to stay. Walking distance to beach was very short. Just right out the elevator and you were at the pool or beach. My teenage girls loved the deli for lunch. I would definitley stay in this unit again. It was very clean and nice. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Washer & dryer in unit was a huge plus !
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children.
Would vacation here forever!

We stayed in the condo last year in late October, I believe probably the ONLY rainy week, yes week, ever seen in Destin. If not for the condo and comfort and close by activites .... and of course the heated pool and hot tub!!! Although the weather was cool, we had a blazing good time; thanks for great deal and cleanliness! The view of the sunrise and sunset was absolutely something I will never forget, just perfect.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Beautiful condo with great location and view. Owner provided folding beach chairs and umbrella which was a nice amenity! Wonderful vacation!

We just returned home from Destin. This condo was wonderfull. My sister said that it was nicer that hers and we both stayed at the Pelican. I would recommend this condo.
