Relax and enjoy this 1100 square foot lodge-style luxury vacation condo overlooking beautiful Silver Lake. Completely updated in 2008, it’s a top floor unit with 2 bedrooms that will sleep 4 for true hospitality. At 10,000 feet and just 30 miles from Denver; with a Glacier for hiking and year round Skiing/Snow boarding, the distinctive location of our Glacier Condo sets this apart from the rest.
Amenities include a KING size feather bed in the master and the second bedroom features 2 twin size rustic Log beds and a babbling stream just outside for quiet relaxation. The spa style bath features a sink made from a solid granite boulder! Indulge in our Wine exchange: bring your favorite wines to leave in exchange for others in our wine rack.
A spacious open living room has a cathedral, vaulted ceiling, and rustic decorations adding to the Lodge atmosphere. There is a floor to ceiling wood-burning fireplace and the dinning area looks out on tranquil Silver Lake. The Granite countertops, Cherry cabinets, and Stainless appliances make cooking in this fully equipped kitchen very enjoyable.
Relax as you enjoy Flat Screen Satellite TVs in every room (HDTV in the living room) along with a DVD collection, library, and game table for those days when you just want to stay in.
We’re dog friendly! Bring your dog for an additional $25 per dog per night (no puppies please but large breeds welcome!).
Get out and enjoy year round Snowboarding/Skiing, Hiking and Picnicking at the GLACIER (1/2 mile hike)
Fish at our private lake (no state license required just bring your equipment) or at St. Mary’s lake at the base of the glacier in the National Forest.

Why the Owner Chose St. Mary's Glacier
We have long visited St. Mary's Glacier just outside of Denver just for the pure beauty of the place. It's one of the most beautiful places on earth: high mountains with a pristine glacier fed lake surrounded by a waterfalls and wild flowers. Add to that a year-round snow field for sledding, snowboarding, and just cooling off who could ask for anything else. All of this is just 29 miles from the Denver metro area! No fighting the traffic up to the big ski areas! So when we found this condo in need of renovation we jumped at the chance! It was completely gutted and all new interior was built making it our weekend getaway which we are happy to share with our guests! As an added bonus, the Coors Family (of Coors Brewing fame) has spent over $2 million on buying the old St. Mary's SKI AREA and is planning on reopening it as a family snowboard and ski facility... and this is just a short walk from the condo. What luck!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Wake up to the sound of the waterfalls and stream next to the condo then brew a pot of coffee, sit at the table and watch the sun come up over the lake. Keep an eye on how the fish are jumping to see if you want to drop in a line or just sit by the lake and read a book. For your daily exercise, hike the quick 1/2 mile up to the Glacier and St. Mary's Lake. Explore, sit, find peace! At night, build a fire in the fireplace and curl up with a good book or watch a movie on the HD TV. Relax and get away from it all!

Even better than advertised. Breathtaking views, wonderful home- even good local restaurants (you can't beat the BBQ in town.) After being very forthright about the condo not being handicapped accessible, Randy went out of his way to help us find local resources to help us meet my special needs. The neighbors were really friendly and helpful. Couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Thanks so much. Timi

Randy: Thanks for letting us share your getaway home in the mountains! What a relaxing place! We fished, hiked, and road our bikes then relaxed in the condo. It’s more like a 2 bedroom luxury suite! More up-scale than places we’ve stayed in Vail and a much better value! Pretty close to Denver too. We’ll definitely be back. Next time for a week!

Your condo is amazing, there are no words to express the beautiful scenery. The furnishings are top notch, condo is immaculate! Even the dog bowls are cute! WOW! We were so sad to leave! It is a fabulous place to stay. The condo is beautiful and the scenery breath-taking. We hope to return again and do less sight-seeing and just relax at the condo.

Shh, don't tell anyone, this is a rare find, a fabulous getaway place in the mountains near Denver and the pictures didn't lie, the condo is fabulous. We have it bookmarked as one of our new favorite places to stay. Can't wait to go back and try hiking to the glacier next time!
