My studio apartment is on rue Thorigny (near rue Turenne, and rue de la Bretagne) across from Picasso Museum. All my first year guests have been very pleased. I think you will be too. Free wi-fi, good heat, new bathroom and renovation, full kitchen, big windows, great upper Marais location. This is my home in Paris when I am there often for business, and I hope you will enjoy it as your home in Paris too.

Location! In the 3rd arrondisement, it is nearly in front of Picasso Museum entrance, a few steps away from the Place des Vosges, the open food market of rue de Bretagne, the trendy shops and bars of rue des Francs Bourgeois, and all the new contemporary art galleries on rue St. Claude -- so what are you waiting for? I have taken great care to make a modern, clean space that will be your home in the quite and stunning neighborhood of the upper Marais. Yet from here, you can walk to the Seine and Notre Dame in 20 minutes, enjoy a morning stroll in Place des Vosges, or one of the many real cafes or restaurants in the neighborhood.

This 30 square meter studio/apartment (280 square feet) is on the second French floor via elevator and it is suitable for 1 or 2 persons. It has been fully renovated on the Fall 2007, in accordance with the best criteria of contemporary design. Floor to ceiling windows fill the space with light, and open to the street for a view of the neighborhood while you enjoy a glass of wine or dinner.

I have taken great care to select a very comfortable sofa that converts to a queen size bed (160x200 cms), an antique armoire, French bistro table and four chairs. The open kitchen is fully equipped with four burner stove, traditional oven, fridge and freezer, clothes washer and dryer, coffeemaker, toaster.

The bathroom has a shower with excellent water pressure, sink, hair dryer and matching towels. The toilette is in a separate room. The apartment also provides free WiFi Internet connection, cable TV, and free telephone for several international destinations (European Union and USA).

I keep maps, guidebooks and restaurant suggestions in the studio, so all you need to do is to be ready to enjoy Paris!

The nearest Metro stations are Chemin Vert (line 8), Sebastien Froissart (line 8).

  • My boyfriend and I visited Paris for the first time early in September and loved staying in Tom's studio. It is a lovely and quiet space, and the light that comes in throughout the day gives it a fresh and airy feel. Sofa beds can be a deal breaker for some, but this really is the most comfortable sofa bed we have ever slept on, it feels just like a bed! After long walks exploring the beautiful city of Paris, coming back to the studio really felt like home, it was such a nice experience. The location is beautiful, the studio is perfect, and we plan to visit sometime next year and stay here again.
