We stayed in this condo for a month in early spring and found it to be a wonderful experience, the suite was well appointed with lovely furnishings and well maintained. The location was ideal, close to Beacon Hill Park, the harbour, downtown, Chinatown and all the tourist spots. The owners were very gracious and accomodating. We highly recommend this condo for either a long or short stay....... Had a wonderful stay! The condo was very clean and cozy. It was easy to find and was close to everything. We walked everywhere! Bea was wonderful; following up after I checked in to make sure everything was ok, and made great suggestions of places to check out.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family of five adults recently (July 2012) stayed at this condo just steps from almost everything in downtown Victoria. The apartment is well appointed, and furnished with more daily necessities than many vacation rentals. It was also exceptionally clean. These observations and several conversations with the owners showed that they are clearly interested in the comfort and well-being of their guests. Having to carry or buy dish soap, bathroom tissue, and the like for a stay of a week or less , something we faced in other properties on our trip, is a real turn-off. Thanks again for everything. Our family enthusiastically recommends Heart of Victoria for visitors to that unique city.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed at this condo with another couple. It was our first visit to Victoria. THe condo was beautiful and very clean. The location was great within easy walking to the Inner Harbour area. Many stores and restuarants in the area so we had no problem finding things. The underground parking was great so we could park the car and not worry about finding parking around different attractions. We visited the Inner Harbour and the Royal B.C. Museum. We visited Butchart Gardens which was spectacular. The Garden is further out so you need a car or public transportation for that. We were very happy with our stay. The only negative I could say was he bed in the master bedroom was too firm for my liking but my husband disagrees with me on that one. Beatrix was a gem to work with. She even called to make sure we arrived safely and that everything was in proper order in the rental. If I return to Victoria I would stay there again! Thanks Beatrix.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Everything about this condo was perfect! The size was very comfortable for the 4 of us and the entire place was nicely furnished. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the place and it was evident that the owners take a lot of pride in maintaining it. We couldn't have asked for a better location-walked everywhere in town and had to use our car only once-to go to Butchard Gardens. Beatrix was such a pleasure to work with-very pleasant and friendly via e-mail and telephone. She answered my inquiries promptly and I was so impressed when she called the day after we arrived to find out how our stay at the condo was going. It clearly showed how caring the owners are. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this condo to a friend and relative. The only regret about our stay in Victoria was that it was too short. Wish we had booked for another night.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here while visiting Victoria with my parents. This was a fantastic location and beautiful place to stay. It was very clean, had comfortable beds, clean linens and just an overall welcoming condo. We were able to walk to pretty much everything we wanted to do, a short walk to The Empress and multiple restaurants. We would not question coming back and staying here! The owners are fantastic to work with as well, very responsive and so kind. Great job!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We spend 5 nights there in mid August while attending a wedding. Victoria is a beautiful town. The condo location is pretty good, with only short walks (4-5 blocks) to downtown and the harbor. The building is modern and in like new condition. parking was good in covered underground garage. Master bedroom was fine, but the second bedroom was far too small for the queen bed. There was only about 3 feet on one side of the bed and the other side was pushed right up against the wall. That might be OK for kids, but uncomfortable for adults. living room was nice. Kitchen was small but had all we needed. View off balcony (5th floor) was of the courtyard and was decent.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Just to make a correction, to this former client's comments; the distance to the Inner Harbor is much closer than described. We are approximately 1 1/2 blocks from the back of the Empress Hotel, so, only steps to the Inner Harbor. We have a master bedroom and a second bedroom. Many times 2 couples are traveling together. The second bedroom has a queen bed. Every second couple wants at least a queen size bed. Most people would prefer a larger bed than a sleeper sofa or a small bed. We have never had a negative comment concerning the second bedroom. The kitchen is a full size kitchen with granite counter and breakfast bar. The layout is standard for a 2 bedroom, 1000 sq.ft. condo. The view is unique in Victoria. Being downtown, we have a view of gardens, ponds and a view of St. Ann`s Academy, one of Victoria`s historical landmarks. Additionally, there is a peek-a-boo view of the Olympic mountains on clear days.

We loved the condo. It surpassed our expectations. The location was fabulous and we were fortunate to take in the Canada Day celebrations. Being able to stay right downtown was wonderful as we could stroll downtown in the mornings while our mothers ( age 87 and 90) could sleep in. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped. Only complaint is that our stay was too short. We will definately return to this condo.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a great location....Condo is in perfect condition and a much better alternative to a Hotel room or B&B. The owner is a joy to work with and would stay there again. A great place to get away from the Arizona heat.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
