Miramar Beach is the place to be if you prefer a more secluded beach community than Destin has to offer. This is your home away from home. The crystal-white sands and emerald-green waters of Miramar Beach are relaxing and welcoming. Come relax and drink in the sun, enjoy the exciting night life, some of the finest restaurants and shopping, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, diving, other water sports, and many other activities that the Florida Panhandle has to offer.
The Gulfview condominiums are located on Scenic Gulf Drive just 3 miles east of the city of Destin in Miramar Beach, Walton County. The complex has 3 floors and 3 buildings. Very small complex and sits very close to the beach. The private gated beach access is directly across the street, approx. 100 feet from the complex. There are restaurants within walking distance. The Silver Sands Factory Stores in Sandestin and the Destin Commons are nearby.
This non-smoking unit is decorated with a tropical theme. It is located on the second floor and features a beautiful diagonal view of the Gulf waters from the living room and balcony. There is no elevator.
The exterior of our complex was refurbished in 2010.
There is a small on-site clubhouse you can currently use free of charge for parties or meetings. The snowbirds have weekly card games during the snowbird season. You can rent bicycles or motor scooters nearby. We have bike racks if you do bring your own bike - just bring a lock. There are sidewalks all the way down Scenic Gulf Drive to walk, jog, or ride bikes. Restaurants and beach bars are within walking distance.
Linens, towels, pillows, blankets are furnished, but please bring your own beach towels. There is a full kitchen with all utinsils, pots and pans, dishes, etc., including stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, coffee maker, toaster.

My husband and I are Mark and Janet Alvarez. We work full time jobs and personally manage this unit which we have owned since 2000. This is currently the only vacation rental property we own. We have 5 children and two grand-kids. We live within an hour of the condo. We love the beach, boating, anything outdoors, traveling (especially to tropical areas), and occasionally participate in vacation exchanges. We hope you enjoy your stay in our vacation home, consider it your home away from home, and come back year after year.
Why the Owner Chose Gulfview
I love the location. It's close enough to Destin for outdoor water sports and other attractions (Big Kahuna's, goofy golf, etc.) and to great Destin and Sandestin shopping, but quieter and less traffic than Destin itself. The restaurants in our area have excellent seafood and other gourmet food. The beach is quiet and more private than the public beach areas. You can walk or bike down the sidewalked street to a restaurant or beach bar. You can relax in the hot tub or relax on the beach. The sand is sugar-white and the water is emerald green. Hmmm... sounds good - I think I'll plan my next vacation right now!

Janet, I would like to say Thanks So Much for giving me the opportunity to enjoy an awesome week with my family. The condo is A+++. We lacked for nothing while we were there. The fully furnished place to stay made things so much easier. I have twin girls that are 2 years old and they woke up every morning wanting to go to the beach. The proxemity to the beach made this a reality for them each and every day. I can not say thanks enough or express our gratitude to you. We were able to experience the beach in a way that would not have been possible if we had stayed at a hotel. We were able to grill fresh seafood. We walked to supper at Captn Dave's on the beach. Thanks from the bottom of my heart and pocket book (it was very affordable).

It was my first longest stay ever in Destin, We enjoyed every moment. This unit is beautiful, clean and so close to the beach, Well priced. When we arrived there was no key in the box but we did not worry, a phone call to the owner and she drove to the unit and gave us the keys plus $30 refund toward purchasing beach seats. We came back with wonderful unforgettable memories, We will definitely come back, this time, not ust with family but with other friends we easily convinced with photos how beautiful was this vacation.
Owner response:So sorry that happened with the key. We have installed a combination bolt lock on the door now, so that should never happen again. We hope you will come back again!

We have stayed at Gulfview several times, but this was the best experience by far. Great view and very short walk to beach. Condo, grounds, pool, hot tub very well kept. We WILL stay here again and recommend this listing to any and all. Thanks so much!! We hated to leave!!

I loved this place so much I going back in October. The owners are just perfect landlords and really had a great time here. The place is located right in the best spot as you have stores/restaurants nearby but not atop you. The marina is a short drive( 5 miles), and most sights are with-in 10 mile radius. The other guests that stay/live in this complex were very nice to get to know, as you feel like family here. This was my first trip to Destin area and will be returning soon and yes I have booked this place for my next stay. Keep up ther good work and I hope to use your place each year for multi-trips down.

We stayed in the condo for a week in April. We had a great time, the condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was great and the balcony had a great view of the beach. We could hear the waves on the beach with the sliding door open. The pools and the hottub were great to use when we wanted a break from the beach. Lots of great restaurants in the area and lots to do. We had a great time, thanks Janet!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Destin. Although we live in South Florida, we had never been to that part of our state. What a wonderful place!! The beach is fabulous and the condo was very convenient as it is directly across the street from the magnificent beach! We had "sunset" drinks on the deck leading to the beach on many evenings...enjoyed the sun & fun, the great restaurants in the area and the shopping. All in all, it is a wonderful spot for a get-away. Janet & Mark are very nice people and made sure we were comfortable in every way! Thank you!!!!

This is a great place to stay. We stayed for 7 nights and hated to leave. The unit was very clean and well equiped. The beach access is very convienent to the condo. It is close to everything a person would want to do in Destin. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay and would deffinitely recommend this unti to anyone wanting to vacation in Destin. Two big thumbs up!!

Wow! What a retreat. We absolutely loved this condo. The location is ideal right across from one of the most beautiful beaches around. Wish we could have stayed longer. Miramar beach/Destin is a great get away. The condo is spacious and the sunsets are beautiful. Hope to stay again soon. Kelly

My two teenagers (15 and 17) had never seen the beach, so this year we made it happen. The condo was very convenient. Definitely better than staying in a hotel room. Everything was nice and clean and made us feel at home. Plus it was nice to be able to eat in some nights to save on money. The location is nice with such close beach access, etc. We also enjoyed visiting the other beaches at the State parks. (Grayton Beach and Henderson Beach)

Very nice place, convenient to everything and that beach is so pretty, sand looks like sugar and the water is breathtaking. Nothing else like it in the US of A!
