We had a great time visiting NYC for 3 nights in the 2nd floor (Unit 1) apartment. Our biggest complaint would probably be the futon pull-out bed, which was not very comfortable and we had a hard time fitting the sheet to it. We had three people in our group and the full-size bed was comfortable enough so I think it would of been better suited for two unless they upgrade the futon. On the plus side, the location was great....soooo close to all of the action. Times Square is a block away and so is Restaurant Row, that had tons of cool places to eat and bars to visit. There is also a little store a couple of blocks away so we could stock up on some drinks and snacks to fit in the kitchen provided in the apartment. The subway was also really close so we could travel anywhere without much hassle! It was nice to be provided with plenty of clean towels, a computer with free internet and the umbrella also came in handy! We felt safe in our room since there were two doors that locked before you could even enter the building. The door to the actual apt. also had two dead bolts, which was important to us! Capri was very accomodating in returning my deposit as well, so I really appreciated her help. : )

Hi Capri, we've left the apartment yesterday. I must say everything was excellent and we had a very good time in NY. The apt was in a great location and we found it in perfect conditions.

We rented one of these apartments recently and LOVED the location in terms of proximity to everything you want to do in Times Square. Metro is close by as well! For the price, you can't get anything better! There is a bar downstairs and because our apartment faced the street, street noise was high. However, we did have to sleep with the windows open because the air conditioning did not work, so that obviously contributed. The non-working air conditioning was quite frustrating as there were no fans to help keep cool. And the heater could not be turned off, as it seemed to be controlled somewhere else in the building. The other thing to note is that this apartment is really best suited for 2 people. We had four and it was very tight. Being in New York, we did not expect a large area; however, the listing states that there is a pull out couch for the 3rd person and a twin mattress if you have a 4th. The "pull out" couch is nothing more than a thick, cotton pad. The same goes for the "twin mattress". And you couldn't put them on top of each other to make it thicker because they didn't fit without you falling off the edge :) I have to say, when we called about the mattress they promptly responded by bringing us another one. However, it was slightly bigger and made of the same material (thick mattress pad, NOT mattress). Overall, I may stay here again if I was traveling with less people. The price was great and the location was fantastic! I might also request a different apartment next time that doesn't face the street and one with air conditioning! :) Lastly, the owner was very prompt in replying to emails and getting the deposit back to me.

This was my first vrbo.com experience.WOW! What a great place you have. Best location we could have asked for. Cute apartment. Can not say enough - our stay could not have been any better. Thanks for your quick response upon our arrival for our small request and thank you a ton for the late check out favor! Very clean, Quaint, Good location. Great Carve Deli one block down on the right - perfect for breakfast, lunch & dinner - 24hours. Will be staying again.

The apartment has everything you need and more---it was spotless/clean. The most important things are that it is in a great safe location, close to Times Square, theater district, restaurants and even dance clubs! and because it is at the back of the building, you can't hear much traffic at all at night. The management team is great, very helpful... they let us store our suitcases at the gift shop downstairs after checkout-thanks a lot! Very good experience from the very first e-mail until our return... they returned our deposit right away. We would definetely stay here again, highly recomend this place!.

Capri, this is to let you know that we did not order any video on demand or pay per view movies (we barely watched TV), so please go ahead and return our deposit. Let me know when you do that. We had a great time in NYC. The apartment was excellent, in great condition, clean and in awesome location. The people at the gift shop were also helpful. Just let the owner know that the screws for the top lock of the apartment door need to be tighten up, they became loose while we where there. Thanks again for all your stay, we LOVE NY and will definitely be back, Lupe

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances au mois d'octobre dans cet appartement. Il est très bien situé, proche des commerces, des stations de métro et de Times square. La voiture est vraiment inutile. Je rajouterai qu'il était très propre et chaleureux lors de notre arrivée. Je recommande vivement cet appartement. Un seul bémol, un peu bruyant car donnant sur la rue.

Hello Ms. Kaufhold, Once again, I had a truly fantastic time staying in your apartment last week Sun. - Thurs. Being neat and quiet, it was so enjoyable staying at a place like yours; it is so comfortable and clean and nice!! It truly makes my visits very homey and wonderful. All, again, thanks to you!!! It is really my best vacation ever!!!! I enjoy coming to New York City so much but am afraid that one day it may be out of reach financially for me to continue going there. Thanks to you, that time has not yet arrived. With my bad knees, I'm surprised I don't have more trouble climbing the stairs--but I find it's no trouble at all, and the gift shop folks downstairs helping me with my luggage make it all possible. Capri, you are so kind and wonderful--I just had to give you my heartfelt THANK YOU once again! I hope you continue renting out this apartment so I can always have something to look forward to!!!

We stayed in the apartment on 10/29/08 through 11/4/08. The apartment was a good size for the three of us. It was very clean. And that was important to us. It's close to everything, but quiet at night so you can sleep. It looks like a fresh remodel, it's all up to date with a nice TV and cable box, and a computer. You're not far from a grocery store, so we stocked up on food and saved money. I would definately stay here again, and without hesitation recommend this apartment to a friend. I already did!

During the later part of August 2008 we had the pleasure of staying in this lovely unit. It was spotlessly clean and contained everything to meet our needs. The unit is small but well laid out, very private and close to everything!!!! Restaurants, groceries, shopping, Times Square and the subways and buses. It is also very secure requiring two separate keys for the entry door and a third key for the unit. We realy enjoyed our stay in this unit and the computer with full internet access and digital phone with free long distance to Canada and the US was a godsend. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time we visit NYC.

I stayed in this apartment from July 27 - Aug 1, 2008 and had a wonderful stay! The apartment is beautiful and looks just like the pics in the ad. It was clean, spacious enough for 2 people (maybe even 3?), and located in the perfect tourist location - just a block away from Times Square. The apartment is surprisingly quiet, considering its location. If/when I travel to NYC again, I would love to stay here! Thank you! :-)
