  The agency was wonderful and most helpful, accommodating! Even though a back unit, we had a nice view from the lanai. Unit was spacious with everything we could possibly need, down to boogie boards! Loved how the second room had private bath (large), wet bar and another set of doors setting off from the kitchen and other rooms. We will definitely look to rent again. Only issue we saw is the entry rug bunches, so just worried if you have older guests that they might trip. Perhaps a little shelf for shoes might be helpful. This DOES NOT detract from the stay at all!!! Don't even second guess yourself staying at this amazing unit and dealing with Carole! We always expect a little less when we rent places, but this went above and beyond! Clean and gorgeous! Nice way to end our tour of the island!!! THANK YOU!!!

  This is the second time we've stayed in this unit. It is well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, toys, etc. We had a great time!

  Our family of 4 truly "got away" on our vacation from the usual hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our time in Hawaii was filled with fun memories that will last forever! Our cnodo was close to the beach and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and strolls along the ocean. We will definitely go back again and were very pleased with the accommodations. Thank you!

  I would highly recommend to any friend or family member looking for a condo on the Big Island Carol's condo 16B at Kolea. We stayed November 2012. The location is gorgeous, beach a short three minute comfortable walk with two different access ways. It was a 15 minute drive to Hapuna beach which is as nice as any Maui beach I have been to. Boogie boards are in the closet. The pool is perfect, towels are provided poolside and umbrellas are available for the fair skinned. The condo is absolutely perfect! The deck was our favorite spot and we grilled right there 3 out of 5 nights. Twice we got to sit on the deck and hear the Hawaiian entertainment poolside at the Marriott next door. The condo was stocked with everything we needed to cook including some spices and ketsup and butter. Really, what a treat!!! The beds were comfortable and the sheets were very nice. I mention this because not every rental is so nicely equiped nor comfortable. Roys is a great place to eat and treat yourself within walking distance. The well stocked grocery was 15 minutes by car and for last minute needs or icecream the store at the shops a few minutes away worked fine. We really can't wait to plan our return trip to the Big Island and would book our trip based on the availability of this condo.

  We had a wonderful stay at Kolea 16B. Carole was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. We loved the condo – it’s well appointed, spacious and elegant – and we loved the view from the lanai. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area is great, and so close to the beach. It’s the perfect location for a perfect vacation!

  We had a very enjoyable stay at Kolea 16B. The condo had everything a family of 5 with teenagers needed to hang out at home, go to the pool, go to the beach and tour around the Big Island. This was our second stay at Kolea. We have travelled many places in the world, and we think it would be very difficult for someone to find a better combination of value, location and relaxation. The beach club is fantastic, proximity to the Marriott, the Hilton, King's Shoppes and Queen's Marketplace extremely convenient and the close access to A Bay and it's beach provides a unique alternative compared to most condominium style accomodations in Hawaii.

  We just returned from 7 days at Kolea 16B. Carole is the perfect hostess, going out of her way to provide the little 'extras' that help make your vacation, perfectThe condo is beautiful. Other friends who stayed elsewhere claimed to have "condo-envy". It has every amenity, is clean and comfortable, and is close to the beach and pool. Fabulous place, great service and highly recommended. We will be back!

  We had a great time on Big Island and loved the condo. It was spacious, clean, bright and very comfortable. We loved the lanai and how the lanai doors completely disappeared into the wall. The resort is beautiful and very close to kings and queens markets. We walked to the farmers market one day and bought local fruits and handmade soaps. The location is perfect for trips to Kona, waipio valley, Saddle road. We managed to drive to Volcano and Hilo and back in one day.
