I highly recommend this property for anybody wishing to stay in the Flagstaff area. It is beautifully equipped - the kitchen has everything you need and more, the BBQ was fantastic with a great range of tools. The bedrooms are all a really good size and the bathrooms lovely. The pictures and description are 100% accurate. It was spotlessly clean. The owners were easily contactable by email and responded quickly both on initial enquiry and subsquently. The location is perfect with easy access to all the local sights. Downtown historic Flagstaff is about 5 minutes in the car. We loved the Renzevous Bar and the Thai restaurant connected to it was so good we went twice. We used this as a base to visit the Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, Prescott. The supermarket is 10 minutes away and has everything you need. The property would easily accommodate six comfortably (although we were only 2). There is TV in the den which was comfortable and cosy. The outside with table and chairs was great to sit out in the morning. Best of all it had washing line to dry the clothes on - so very English (which is where we visited from). And the neighbours were friendly I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at this property.

Owner response: Thanks! The location is ideal, right by the park for viewing the forest, and yet close to downtown for shopping or to head out for sightseeing. Three grocery stores are within ten minutes, and our favorite, Safeway, is a very pretty five-minute drive one way. Note that the house is equipped with a standard washer and dryer. Guests from the U.K. especially seem to enjoy the clothesline in back for drying clothes quickly and easily in the beautiful fresh air, if you choose!

Easily the most well stocked vacation rental we have ever experienced. We have rented across the country and no other property comes close to having all the comforts of home like this one does: Scissors, tape, a note pad, tennis rackets and balls, bikes, already frozen gel packs for the coolers, info on local attractions, firewood, kindling, matches, a soft throw in the den, games, instructions posted right where needed, etc. They get the big stuff right also. The home was very clean, with nice finishes, lots of space, and plenty of towels. A great home for a family. The master bedroom was a little too soft for my picky back but one of the twins worked great. A little farther from the cute shops downtown than we were willing to walk in March, but a very easy drive. The owners were easy to deal with and there were NO issues whatsover. This location served us well for a day trip to GCNP and Flagstaff Extreme. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The TV placement might not be ideal for a large family since the largest room (LR) doesn't have a TV, but the den could handle the 4 of us just fine and was quite cozy with the wood stove going. Highly recommended.

Perfect retreat for yet another epic getaway with my brothers to ski the west! Owners are super lovely and a pleasure to speak to and email with regards to renting this property. Listing description, photos and appearance are exact to description. Property is WELL maintained and nicely decorated. Location is so ideal to supermarket, downtown restaurants and attractions....especiall Snowbowl, that is if you like to ski. Car recomended to ski and sightsee since Snowbowl is not like a typical 'ski town' with shuttles buses. Recommended attractions include but not limited to Sedona, Redrock State Park, Montezuma Castle and Well, Walnut Canyon and of course Snowbowl! Hiking along scenic hots spots along 89A is recommended if you like nature and scenic views. Bicycles in garage to use and ride in quaint park behind house. TINDERBOX restaurant in downtown Flagstaff is a MUST if you are a FOODIE. DO get the Hook and Ladder blend if you will. We would definately recommend this home for your get away vacation but with the consideration that you will take care of this fine home as if it was your own! It truely is lovely. Arizona is a super friendly special place. Love love loved it! Thank you !!!

We were impressed from the second we arrived at the house. There was snow on the ground and the driveway was freshly shoveled and there was ice melt on the driveway and walk way. It was wonderful to be able to unload through the garage where it was nice and dry. The house was spotless and decorated beautifully. We were amazed by all of the conveniences that were in the house. The fully stocked kitchen was better than I had imagined and it was easy to cook full meals for our family. One added bonus is the information book they have supplied on the counter. We were able to easily find great resturants, shopping and sledding. We relaxed and played as a family with pleanty of space. We felt like we were staying at a luxury resort. I highly recommend staying at this house!

We absolutely LOVED staying in this house. It was beautifully furnished with more than enough room for our family of four and just a perfectly comfortable place to come back to from our outings. An extra bonus to this house is where it is located. It is directly across the street from acres of parkland. We spent most mornings hiking in the snow for miles and really enjoyed that this was just a few steps away. The owners of this house were always helpful, really nice and had equipped the home with everything anyone would ever need. We can't say enough about how much we loved vacationing in this home and would return to it many times over!

My fiance and I had been on a road trip for 3 weeks and Flagstaff was our final destination before flying back to the UK after the New Year. We decided to base ourselves here to visit the Grand Canyon (about 75 miles from Flagstaff, took about us about an hour and a half to drive in winter conditions) and to do a spot of skiing/snowboarding at the Arizona Snowbowl (half an hour in the car, worth a visit if you're into skiing or snowboarding, great snow!). The house and Flagstaff was an absolute delight to arrive into after the hectic-ness of Vegas. We met up with our friend in Vegas and she travelled with us to Flagstaff. The 3 of us loved the house and what it had to offer. It was definitely home away from home! The place was clean and beautifully presented, it offered all the conveniences one needs after a long road trip (including flat screen TV in every room, coffee-maker, tea and coffee, best of all shower gel as I had just ran out!). Flagstaff was very cold and snowy when we arrived and we were pleased to see the little details the owner had left for guests, such as a snow shovel (luckily we didn't need it!). The owners had also left a great welcome pack with details on how to get to the supermarket, recommended restaurants in Flagstaff, and other areas of interest. There was also very reliable WIFI too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the house to be very comfortable, it was situated in beautiful surroundings, there was a park opposite which we didn't have time to experience - it looked like there were some lovely walks and some snow-shoeing to be done! Flagstaff itself is wonderful place, we had New Year here and it certainly had a lovely atmosphere to it. We noticed a lot of nature trails and walks when driving around the area, and we would definitely come back again in the future to check out more of these walks. House and location highly recommended!! It was only a 5-10 minute drive from the centre of town. I would also like to add we experienced great communication from the owners, they were very quick to respond. Normally, they would email you check in details a week or so prior to arrival, however we left the UK 3 weeks before arriving to Flagstaff and they were very flexible in emailing us everything in advance. Top place!! Many thanks to Kevin and Kellie for everything!! I miss it already!

I have stayed in vacation homes before but this one excedes them all. This home is immaculate, beautiful and is in a great location. I was very impressed as soon as I stepped into the home. The wood floor is gorgeous! The home's interior finishes and furnishings are current, charming, and very comfortable. I saw no wear and tear on the furniture. My 7 and 9 year old children were even impressed with the place and felt right at home. They were very happy to stay at the property rather than go somewhere else. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows for smores in the beautiful stone fireplace. We baked gingerbread men cookies. There were many fun board games available in the den. We enjoyed watching movies and shows on the three flat panel TVs in the home. The wifi in the home worked great. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need. I cooked our meals everyday and found all the cookware I needed. I brought my own food in coolers and found my maple syrup had dumped out during our drive up. Fortunately, I found pancake syrup in the cabinet so I did not have to run to the store. However, I did notice that it is a short drive to several stores and it's only a mile to get to downtown. I am very particular with cleanliness and nice linens. I found the home to be very clean and all the towels and sheets/blankets were very fluffy and nice. The beds were also very comfortable. I love the fact that there is open forest right across the street. There's also tennis courts, a playground, and an ice skating facility that is very close to walk to. We visited the Polar Express/Grand Canyon Railway in Williams during our stay. The drive was easy and only took about a half hour on clear roads. We are looking forward to another visit to this fabulous retreat. After staying here, I would not want to stay anywhere else!

I enjoyed the property, the photos were accurate, the property was very clean and well maintained, and the owner was most helpful to our questions, and very fast response when we posed a question. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Flagstaff, 3 bedrooms (one with twin beds which will work for small children), very comfortable and central location. We used this as our base, to Grand Canyon, Sedona, Lowell Observatory, and then out on quick jaunts and was very comfortable for the three of us. A very good choice on our part.

This home was clean and modern with an open, one-level floor plan. The bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen, family room and garage were thoughtfully supplied. It served as a great home base for our excursions to hike and sight-see the Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, Flagstaff and Sedona areas. We especially enjoyed the park across the street and the quiet neighborhood. The owners were easy to contact and all arrangements went smoothly. I would recommend this company and happily use it again for future vacations!

                  Owner info

                  Year Purchased: 2007

About the owner: We live in Phoenix, Arizona, have been married since 1990 and are still raising two teenagers (a boy and girl). Here we are outside the Grand Tetons north of Jackson, WY in summer 2011.

                  Why the Owner Chose Flagstaff:
Kevin and a business partner purchased this Flagstaff home in late 2007, intending to remodel and then sell it. After the remodel was completed, they realized what a wonderful vacation home it would be for us and others as well! Working together, the two partners furnished and decorated it. We stay as often as we can, trying to think of everything a guest would need to be comfortable.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
In July 2009 we bought out Kevin’s partner. Ever since, we've enjoyed talking with people from all over the United States and the world who travel to Flagstaff to see the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Monument Valley, Walnut Canyon and much more. It's a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing, hiking or skiing!
