We had a great time at Adagio Villa - all seven of us including our 10 month old grandson, William! Camille is a great cook which was wonderful not having to go into town with the baby. Ernesto and Florencio were always ready to help with anything we needed including bringing desserts. The house is very welcoming and comfortable. We loved the view, the pool and the people of Belize!

We all enjoyed our three weeks in your lovely villa. The Villa offered us elegance and simplicity from watching the iguanas sun in and around the property to being protected from the wind and rain in the comfort of Adagio Villa. We loved everything about the home- all the televisions in each room, the pool, the balcony upstairs, comfortable beds, high ceilings and fans. The view of the ocean from all the windows was a delight. Cooking was fun in such a grand and beautiful kitchen. Your staff - unforgettable. Our daughters loved them all and that to us, says it all. Cheers

The Lukens crew has had a spectacular time here at the Villa. We fished, snorkeled, swan, sun bathed and generally "vegged out." Just what everyone needed to do. Ernesto, Camille (my'girlfriend') and Florencio were wonderful. We actually wanted to hide them in our suitcases and take them home with us. Your house is so warm and homey and the view from the veranda just can't be topped! San Pedro and Belize will always hold a special place in our memories! Bill and Family

We just got back from 9 wonderful days staying at this property. It truly is the nicest house on the island. The location is perfect, not too close to town so you have privacy but really only just minutes away from restaurants, grocery stores, and cute island bars. Camille , comes daily to clean, which is wonderful and she is a great chef, we had one of her delicious dinners one night. Ernesto meets you at the airport and makes you feel at home and comfortable immediately. Also very helpful around the house, and with information on tours etc. He is just one phone call away ( you have a local phone to use). And last but not least is Florenzo , what a wonderful man. He is around making sure all is in order!!!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a place you have here! Every attention to detail that made for a fabulous week filled with memories that we will take home. Your Staff met every need and the same Ernesto lined up great adventures, snorkeling,etc. We will never forget a fishing trip that produced sixty Snappers! Camille then prepared them for our dinner....Amazing! We love Camille! Florencio was always on hand to be helpful in any way he could. Great Home, Great Staff - Perfect Combination!

Dennis, Thank you so much for all. Adagio Villa is a wonderful home and made our Belize Adventure a Dream..... Ernesto knew everything about Ambergris Caye and had us set up "spot on" for our adventures, which were many. Camille took great care of our place and cooked us some great appetizers. Florencio has a sixth sense I'm sure as nothing or anyone moved around the place but he was on top of it. The crew really made us feel at home here and our vacation was perfect. We sure hope to be returning to this beautiful island!

Dear Dennis, Thank you for a fabulous 10 days at Adagio! Our visit was made even sweeter by the attention and care we received from Ernesto, Camille and Florencio. Special Thanks to you! Here are some of our favorite activities and restaurants: With Mystical Adventures and Shamir as our Guide.. [- Snorkeling at Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley-just as beautiful as advertised!! - Beach picnic (featuring fresh caught snapper) - Boat trip down the New River to Lamanai] - Elvi's Restaurant in town - Aji Tapas, 1.5 miles north of Adagio Villa - Wild Mangoes on the Beach- lunch was the best. Most of all, we enjoyed sun and relaxation right here at Adagio Villa!!

Best house in Ambergris Caye:Beautiful house, beautiful setting , great supprt staff

Just completed 10 days here with my wife and two other couples. The house is of the highest quality, beautifully built and maintained. The setting is outstanding. The primary road in Ambergris Caye is unpaved except in the town.The location of the house ( just a 1/2 mile from the bridge to town) proved very convenient especially since the road was in bad shape from the rains except for the last couple of days when it was graded smooth. This would have been an entirely different vacation if the house was several miles from town instead of its actual location ... having to drive a golf cart on a really bumpy road for miles or being dependent on the water taxi. The staff was exceptionally attentive making sure whatever our wishes were- they were met. The bicycles that came with the house were used every day. Having biked for several miles north and south of the house, it bacame apparent after a couple of days that were staying in the best house in Ambergris Caye. This is a beautiful property in a stunning setting- having a great house with a pool right on the water made for a great time.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

"Thank you" is not enough to describe how much this trip meant to the 6 of us - Great Birthday present for Lydia, Phil and Phil (and of course, spouses, Mike, Alysia and Linda.) Camille, Ernesto and Florencio were the best! Loved the Villa and got lots of use out of the Margarita machine (as it rained every day!) Rain didn't dampen our trip though - Thanks for the beauty of this place and the staff. P.S. Thank you Camille for dancing with Mike and all the great meals!

Dennis, Yes we are home and yes your villa still has all the charm from our first visit. Always wonderful to visit your home and just totally let all the stress and worry escape the minute we arrive to the smiles of our San Pedro family. The cell phone worked fantastically and was very much appreciated. The phone certainly solved a lot of little fires before outta control. Thank you so much for providing that extra sense of sanity. Your house is very relaxing. As we told EZ, we work 18-20 hours a day and here it is perfect and easy for us to just roll over and take a nap or rollover and get more sun. Our time was fantastic and well needed. I have mixed feelings. I want you to be able to sell the villa but I am stingy hoping we will be able to visit a fourth time. Keep us posted if anything happens. We are back to the grindstone and have a total new attitude for 2013. Not even noticing the cold weather and snow. Thank you and Laura for that opportunity for us again.. Jean and Randall

Rarely do private villas equal or surpass their advertisement. Adagio is one of that rare breed. Amenities provided eased the usual scramble to find, rent and do! Adagio Villa-What a glorious place to spend the holiday with the entire family! The villa is so special and provides all the amenities of home and more! The bikes, kayaks and golf cart were well used. Camille is a fabulous cook-we ate like kings. Florencio made sure the pool, patios and grounds were spotless and Ernesto was always just "a phone call away!" The snorkeling, diving experiences we had were world class. We hope to return to Belize very soon and if we are very lucky - to Adagio Villa

We have enjopyed staying at the Adagio Villa. Our first trip was Thanksgiving 2010 and again Thanksgiving week of 2011. We are playing to return the same week of 2012. Thats how much we love the home, staff and people of Belize. It is absolutely wonderful!!! The home is beautiful and perfectly clean. The staff Ernesto, Camille and Florenzio are amazing people and always make our trip great! Dennis the owner is always very helpful and helps accomodate all your needs. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Adagio Villa and the people of Belize.

Just returned from a trip to Adagio Villa, It was absolutely wonderful!!! The house was beautiful, very clean and had top of the line everything available for your use- from Le Creuset cookwear, the Jimmy Buffet Margarita machine to the take home robes.The place is amazing There were bikes and kayaks for your use. Ernesto runs the villa and he is wonderful and always willing to do whatever you need. He is just a phone call away. Camille is a wonderful cook and keeps the place spotless! Florenzio keeps the grounds looking gorgeous! The property is just over the bridge to the north and you are close to everything! We went for my fathers 80th but would be great with kids too. The owner is very helpful and will provide you with tons of information to make your stay in Belize perfect. We are definately going back!!

Thank you everyone for everything. House was more than we ever expected! We have rented out villas all over the Caribbean for more than 10 years and this place was by far the best! We even stayed at SeaScape up the beach before. Thanks for the beer, soda & water: also the liquor and chips with cheese as welcoming gifts. We will be back in 2 years and will stay here if Mr. Dennis is still the owner.Can we bring our dogs?? Thanks again and "Belize It !"

We had a Wonderful time! The house is beautiful and warm. Ernesto, Camille and Florencio were wonderful. They made everything so enjoyable. Thanks to Ernesto for setting up our day trips. Camille is a wonderful cook!! Thank you very much!

Awesome house! Attention to detail was unBelizable! Enjoyed snorkeling, fishing, massage and home-cooked meals. Ernesto, Florencio and Camille treated us like rock stars and catered to our every needs. We caught 'cuda, bonefish, snapper, grunt from pier and I caught a pufferfish ("Puff Daddy Gaba".) Chris, the 'divas' (Lindsey, Alicia and Ev) plus Ernesto and Florencio are Cubs fans - Now we just need to make them Notre Dame fans!

Excellent place to celebrate a 40th birthday, a graduation and a celebration of Survivorship!! Home was Beautiful, loved the island and enjoyed snorkeling and fishing. The house staff was excellent - Ernesto took care of all of our needs.

Such a perfect family vacation! No better way to bring in 2011 than in Beautiful Belize. We all loved relaxing by the pool, fishing, snorkeling and just enjoying everyday in Paradise. It was Amazing!

Hi Dennis, Well we are home and back at work already this morning. Our plane into Omaha was late so we arrived at home at 2am so was a short night. Luckily we were well rested and ready to start the new year. Wanted to tell you that you have a beautiful comfortable home on Ambergris Caye. Spending time there with my family was perfect and relaxing and very enjoyable. Camille, Ernesto and Florenzo were at our beckon call at all times but left us alone to enjoy ourselves. We took advantage of lobsters, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, mangrove fishing , swimming, dock fishing and we enjoyed going to town. I know we paid you for the rental of your home but wanted to thank you for the opportunity to spend time in San Pedro and be able to relax and spend quality time with my family being able to have fun and enjoy each other. I hope someday we will be able to plan the excursion again and enjoy the wonderful sun and fun of the island. Jean
