This home is indeed as spectacular as other visitors have remarked. The location is ideal and access to a dock was the highlight of our time. We rented a pontoon boat for two days, traveling to Keewadin Island. It was so easy to put everything we needed in the boat and take a leisurely trip through the islands to this wonderful gulf beach. We saw dolphins in the bay, and from our boat, every day of our visit. I would also highly recommend Capt Ron's waverunner tour. It's expensive but well worth the price for a four hour trip. Thanks Jodi and Joe! Your home, and hosting, was amazing.

Just got back home after second stay in this villa in the past 12 months with my family of 7.My eldest grandson could not be with us last time,inAugust, so what a surprise he had,quote" ausome".Everything was just as superb as last time.Being the second time it just felt like home from home even the nieghbours remebered me when I went on my bike ride.The fishing was better this time and between us we caught a nice variety of fish and the weather was also better this time of the year,not as humid.Thanks to Jodie for telephoning my daughter Gill to make certain everything was ok.There is only one fautl with this villa.It doesn't belong to us and we had to leave it behind.

Just returned from a wonderful week of sunshine and an Easter vacation enjoyed by all. Let me begin by saying this home is as described, extremely clean and the location could not be more perfect. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, easy to get to and Marco Island is a short car ride away where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, shops, grocery stores and two public beaches.One day we drove to Everglade City and did an air boat tour through the Everglades, which is a must do. Speedy's tour was excellent and we saw a manatee and lots other wildlife, the kids really had a blast.On the way back we stopped in Goodland and went to the "Little Bar Restaurant" and had a fabulous late lunch, YUM!! We had 9 travelers and 6 were children ages 6,12, 13, 13,and 15 and we were all very comfortable. The house is well stocked with amenities, a grill (enjoyed lots of fresh fish) and best of all a pool, hot tub and a pool table for evening entertainment. We rented a pontoon boat and went to Naples and keewaydin Island which is a secluded island only reachable by boat. Jodi had Boogie boards , beach stuff and all we needed was to bring beach towels! She also called and check up on us if we were comfortable and if we had any questions she could answer, thanks for being a perfect host! The Isle of Capri has a couple of excellent restaurants and a bait shop which we used several times to buy shrimp for fishing off the pier. By the way, fishing poles, nets and a tackle box are at the house so no need to pack them .I think what we enjoyed most was sipping wine at night with our friends looking out over the marinia at the stars, watching sunsets and the tranquilly that the home had to offer. Thanks Jodi for a memorable vacation!

Fantastic First Time on Isles of Capri

We recently returned from a month long stay at this beautiful home. What a place!! To start, Jodi and Joe are extremely gracious hosts, they were always available to address any small issues that arose while we were there. They obviously take a great deal of pride in their home, nothing about it felt like a rental property. If you are new to the area, Jodi has this great scrapbook with ideas for itineraries for your vacation, from sightseeing, to beaches to visit, kid`s activities and more. Everything is clearly laid out and explained, items in the house are where you would expect to find them, and the house did not lack any supplies. The house is very charming, decorated in a true Florida style, and very comfortable. The deck is fantastic, overlooking the bay, sunsets are nothing short of incredible. We bbqd every night and never bored of that amazing view. The dock was a whole other entertainment feature, we caught tons of fish, including about 6 or 7 baby hammerhead sharks (note: don`t swim in the bay!). Pool is huge and the kids barely had their eyes open in the morning, and were already asking to go swimming. The list goes on and on. Perfect vacation. Isles of Capri is a little boring, if you go there expecting an exciting night life, you will be disappointed. We found it a bit out of the way when we wanted to go shopping, but on the other hand, the tranquility can`t be beat. There is a great little market on the island where you can buy fantastic fresh fruits and veggies, we found that helpful and the people on Capri are super friendly. Keywaydin island is not to be missed. Rent a pontoon and take it out there for the day. The shelling and beach are fantastic, the turquoise waters are unlike anything we`d ever seen in florida. Anyways, you get the message - great hosts, beautiful house, amazing view, and awesome beaches. This one will be hard to beat. Thanks Joe and Jodi

Owner response:We have been extremely blessed with the most amazing people who have have stayed at our home for the past 4 or so years. This family was no exception. Just lovely people who took great care of our home and treated it as their own. While I appreciate this review and agree with the description of our home and the area, I would have to make one comment. I would describe the Isles of Capri as a laid back, quiet, fishing, boating and kayaking village. Two of the four restaurants do have live music every night. However, if you are looking for peace, tranquility, and an abundance of nature and wildlife, this is the place for you!

An ideal vacation home Florida

Our group of ten arrived Aug 13, 2011 in complete awe. This home far exceeded our expectations. Photos just don't do the vaulted ceilings justice. The house is spacious, airy, bright, beautifully decorated, and clean. Amenities really abound in this home. Whether relaxing by the swimming pool, taking a trip to the beach, or having a relaxing dinner at the house, everything has been thought of to make your stay easy and fun. The children, ages 13, 10, and 2, had a blast in the swimming pool and on the boat dock. We saw stingrays, crabs, exotic birds, a large variety of fish, and even manatees in the bay. We heard dolphins in the morning, but we didn't see them. This was our first time renting a vacation home and Jodi and Joe made the process easy and pleasurable. They answered every question immediately. If you decide to rent this home, you will not regret it. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We hope to stay again in the near future. It really was a vacation my entire family will remember forever.

What a superb house a credit to its owners Jodi and Joe.It was all that the website said it would be and more.Iwas there with all of my family 7 one of my daughters having booked it.We all have stayed in some nice houses in Florida over the years but this one beats the lot.Spottlessly clean,plenty of space for a family,every facility you could wish for and what a setting.Having drinks on the upper deck watching the sunset was in itself worth the rent.Comming back next April and just cannot wait even thogh we have only just left last week,roll on

Suberb house with an excellent location

We had a wonderful week in Jodi and Joes gorgeous house. We are already now contemplating coming back but next time for two weeks. We have really appreciated the way this house is decorated and have felt very much at home. We ended our vacation sitting on the deck sipping some white wine and enjoying the last of the breathtaking view and really not wanting to go home. Every morning we have looked forward to getting on the deck to see the rich variety of fish, birds and other animals close to the house. We have really enjoyed our time on Isle of Capri. We have gone to the beach on Marco Island, and have had some friends and their two kids visiting for a couple of day. We went to Everglades and had a trip in the mangroves on an airboat ride. We saw alligators and raccoons. We also rented a pontoon boat on the Marina and sailed to Keywadin Island. Also a very nice trip on the boat and we saw a lot of Dolphins. Our two girls have also really had a good time. They have enjoyed getting up in the morning (on numerous occasions they have tried to set the alarm to watch the sun getting up and look for Dolphins and other animals). They have almost lived in the pool and have told us that it is OK that we plan to get back some time in the future.

This house was amazing!! It was very clean, well stocked, and simply beautiful. The minute we walked in my children were excited and wanted to know if we could come back here every year. The home was not only comfortable and luxurious but it had something to offer everyone in my family. My children spent most of their time swimming in the pool. My brother enjoyed fishing from the dock while my parents spent their time relaxing in the hot tub. Jodi made sure that every detail was taken care of, even providing a book of possible activities to do while in south Florida. We felt like we were staying at the home of a friend. We definitely want to return and can not say enough about how perfect it is. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect home away from home.

We stayed at Jodi`s and Joe`s house in the Isles of Capri last summer and simply just had to come back this summer.You simply just can`t get enough of this house and the beauti of Isles of Capri.Minutes after you leave you want to go back.As well as we,our three kids felt like they were coming home, when we walked up the stairs to the front door.This time we brought my Mother along and she would stay in the downstairs department of the house.She was happy about this because then she could retire and be by herself whenever she felt like it.The first couple of days she was speechless and couldn`t get over how beautiful and comfortable everything was.She had never seen anything like it. You truly feel you are in paradise and you just can`t get enough of sit and watch the amazing views from the pool deck. Jodi and Joe were as always a true pleasure.You`re simply the best! The only thing that worries you is that whatever you may rent of vacationhomes in the future, you will get dissappointed because it will not be able to live up to this house on the Isles of Capri. As General Douglas MacAthur said:"I shall be back" and so shall we.

Fantastic Home

My family ages 11 to 79 are still talking about how wonderful this house was to stay at. My parents arrived at the house first. When dad opened the frontdoor all he could say was wow! Then he went out the french doors to the deck and the view left him speechless. The pool was wonderful. Kids and adults all loved it. There was nothing we wanted for while staying at this home, except more time to enjoy it. It's convienant to everything including everglades national park. We've stayed in a number of rental homes on various vacations and this home was by far the best. Jodi goes out of her way to make sure you have a comfortable stay at her home. Can't wait to return next year.

Great Rental

We had a fantastic stay in the house and Jodi was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The house was very clean, well stocked and handsomely decorated. We loved coming home to it after a long day on the water. The pool area is terrific and a great place to relax with a cold drink..... This was primarily a fishing trip and we rented a boat from a local marina on Marco Island and kept it at the house. It all worked flawlessly. We could get up early in the morning, fish for a few hours, come back and have a nice relaxing lunch and do it all over again. The fishing was terrific and my ten year old son loved exploring the inland waterways. We saw many dolphin and were lucky to see Manatees on two occasions. There was also great fishing right off of the dock and a boat is definitely not necessary. We never did make it to the beaches, but from the boat they looked beautiful. We can't wait to go back!

Excellent Vacation Rental!

We rented this home May 7-14, 2011 for a family vacation that included our two children (ages 2 1/2 and 8 months), my husbands parents and sister. My parents and brother and sister (residents of Florida) also spent time with us at the home. We had a great time. The home included everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We felt at home right away. The pool area was fantastic and includes plenty of seating for everyone. We enjoyed being on the water and watching the beautiful sunsets. The home is very close to Marco Island which was great for dining out and sight-seeing. Jodi was great to work with from the very beginning. She took time to make us feel that we were making the right decision choosing their home and answered all of our questions quickly. She was always available and wanted to makes sure our experience was a great one from beginning to end. We are recommending this home to some of our extended family and hope to return ourselves next year. A big THANK YOU to Jodi and Joe!

Superb holiday house in a fantastic location

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely holiday get away, and it simply was not long enough! Geoff and I spent a couple of days alone before being joined by our two daughters, their husbands and our 4 grand children aged four through to 10. We have stayed in holiday homes before and our experience has been good overall. Holiday homes are usually a little faded and often impersonal. Imagine our joy when we entered to find a beautiful, large, airy home which is so obviously well loved. Really, the pictures on the website are good, but they simply do not do the house justice. When our family arrived they were what we call in the UK 'gob smacked'. The pool is lovely, larger than most holiday homes and the pool table is a plus. The addition of bikes and all the beach wear is a lovely touch. The boat deck is fantastic, we fished with the fishing rods and tackle which are thoughtfully provised and watched the little beggars as they jumped out of the water as the sun went down - could almost hear them laughing as they swam away!!! Actually most of the family did make a catch. We also hired a couple of kayaks for a few days and paddled around the islands. We saw dolphins and manatees swimming past as we sat drinking our sun downers. A fantastic experience. Jackie and Geoff UK April 2011.

A Special Place

Special Place There is special place on the Isle of Capri owned by Jody and Joel. It has everything you could want for a family vacation. When our grandchildren came down from Mich. they kept busy playing in the pool, fishing on the dock and taking walks to the local restaurants.Marco Island is a hop skip and jump away. The island is low key and friendly. The foliage around the house makes it very private. We would love to come back, our month stay wasn't long enough. Hats off to you Jody for making your rental home a warm and welcoming home. You were also Johnny on the spot when any issues came up, thanks for the opportunity to get to know you. Isles of Capri Getaway

We rented the Fernandez house for a month and thoroughly enjoyed the accomodations. The home, although rental property, is clearly a personal residence with Florida pastel colors, "coastal" art, fine furniture, and an excellent kitchen. The property includes important amenities from the pool to the billiard table. The Isles of Capri are sedate and unhurried, offering casual dinning and pleasant walks. Proximity to Marco Island and Tigertail beach is a plus. In summary, this is an excellent lodging in a superb setting. Mike and Pat D.

Our 4th stay at this perfect house

We are 4 Danes (2 adults and 2 children) who simply love this place - actually we love to travel a lot and have never stayed in the same place twice.....but this place is simply so perfect that we have spend our summer holiday here in 2008, 2009 and 2010. We have often been in touch with the owners - Jodi and Joe - also in between holidays just to hear how they are doing. And we have often talked about that we had to see each other in "real life" - something that one often talk about but never gets around to do. However that is not the case here - the 4 of us went to Florida in February 2011....again.....and this time we went to Isles of Capri to stay in the house together with Jodi and Joe. I think that both the Americans and the Danes were a little bit anxious about how the visit would be - one thing is "talking" together by e-mail or phone another thing is to meet in person and actually stay under the same roof with people you have never met! However the real thing was better than the virtual thing. We had the best time with Jodi and Joe - and I am certain that this is not the last time that we will spend time together; either in the US or in Europe. I can say for certain: we have now got some great new friends and after having met them we understand much better why the house is so well taken care of and why you feel like that you are staying in a home with personality instead of in an ordinary rental house. To read about the house and the surroundings read our earlier review: "Golfer100" from our stay in July 2008 and "golfer200" from our stay in July 2009. If you have read this far - we suppose that we don't have to mention that the place is so great and Jodi & Joe are so easy to get along with, so don't hesitate to go.

Fantastic Vacation Location

We've been doing Florida vacation rentals for years and this is the best one yet. The home is immaculate and has a lot of room. There were 10 people in our group, 6 adults and 4 children under 5 years old. The combination of the pool on-site, recreation area, near by beaches, fishing charters, kayaks, golf, and excellent restaurants assured we had exciting days. Coming back to the home at the end of the day was a perfect way to wind down whether it was in the pool, hot tub, or kayaking in the bay. Jodi has put together an excellent book outlining all the things to do in the area, complete with contact information and directions. If planning a vacation to the Naples and Marco island area you should consider staying here !

This is my second time at this most beautiful location. All amenities for the entire family at this spacious home! The luxury of being away...but all the comforts of home. Great Vacation Home

Our stay in Jodi and Joe's house was great!! Not only did it allow our family of 8 adults and 3 children space to be together but also space to be alone. It was very convenient to beaches, golf outings, shopping, and dining. Everything that was needed was provided for you and we took advantage of using the bicycles, fishing gear, pool, and hot tub. It was a very relaxing time for our family to enjoy being together. We even were treated with visits from a dolphin through the channel. Thank you for opening up your house and for your warm hospitality. It truly met our families' needs.

Location, Location!

Whilst this south west Florida home has everything you could want and more for your vacation, the real star is it's location. Right on the water, enjoying spectacular sunsets but benefiting from cool breezes off the bay, this is a quiet peaceful place that is perfect for a relaxing vacation. But don't think you will be trading peace and quiet for lack of amenities. The house itself is well decorated and equipped. With an extremely large heated pool, hot-tub and masses of outside space, it is great for a two family vacation and the self contained separate first floor apartment will be popular with older teens. Marco and Naples restaurants and shopping are close by and make sure you check out the Capri Fish House - just a 10 minute walk away, for a great casual dining option. Overall we all had a great time.

Relaxation in Paradise

This was one of our best vacations for sure. The house was in the perfect location. It was relaxing, comfortable and the house was gorgeous. It was a home away from home. The pool was perfect and the dock for fishing was a great and fun experience for my children. We went fishing right in the back yard. It was amazing. The space was awesome in the house. We all felt very at home in Joe and Jodi's home. Marco Island is a beautiful place to visit and it was so close by. Everything was so convenient, the beach, the pool, and if you like to shop, there are great outlets not too far away. We just wanted to thank Joe for being such a great host. He called and made sure that everything was okay and that we were having a good time. This was one of our best vacations and I just wished it could have been longer!!!!!!

We have just spend 2 weeks in Jodis and Joes home in the beautiful Isles of Capri.Our family,a party of five and a friend,a party of three found the house and its surroundings to be way beyond our expectations.A very spacious and clean which provided you with all your needs regarding kitchen equipments for homecooking,beachchairs and even bicycles in the garage.The house itself is so beautiful decorated with so many details that made you discover something new everyday and made you feel right at home from the first day.The kids loved the pool and spa and to sit on the upper porch everyday and watch the Dolphins swim by in the bay right in front of the house was simply amazing.So were the sunsets over the bay every night.The surrounding area was great as well with beautiful beaches on Marco Island and Naples.Close by is Everglades Nationalpark where we also spend a great deal of time.Lots of possibilities for shoping near by that would satisfy everyones need. Jodi and Joe were great hosts as well.They called a couple a times during our stay just to make sure that everything was allright and we had a good time. The rating of five stars does not justify this house but unfortunately you can not rate it any higher otherwise I surely would have. Thanks Jodi and Joe for letting us rent your home.We had the best vacation ever. We are happy we found it,Paradise on earth!!

A really nice stay for us Swedes

Thanks Jodi for a super vacation at your home, the house was even better than we had expected. The house was clean, spacious, fully equipped, well maintained and had a perfect view at the sea, we even saw some dolphins in the bay. The pool and was perfect in size and depth for our kids, they just loved it, and they even tried the spa just to warm up from hours of bathing in the pool. The evenings was spent by the barbecue with a cold beer looking out on the bay and it was just marvellous. The only little glitch was at supper time, we coud not fit all 10 of us round the glass table, we had to take in two chairs from the patio and place the kids at the kitchen bar. A small thing but we solved it. We are recommending this house for all families that want a quiet and relaxed stay at a almost perfect house by the sea side. The house that Joe and Jodi have set up is a perfect vacation spot. Our vacation consisted of 8 adults who all enjoyed themselves and were able to relax! When first pulling up you can tell that this house is well maintained, the grounds were beautiful. Upon entering the house you feel as if you just stepped into paradise. All rooms were immaculate and the décor was very fitting. Once you step through the house and see the view from the back deck you will never want to leave. There was plenty to do at the house. Much time was spent on the dock fishing, which was very successful (thank you for supplying the fishing tackle.) While down at the dock, we were able to see the manatee with the baby and the dolphin also with a baby. It was wonderful being able to see that up close. (Just as stated on the website) Between the pool, hot tub and the pool table we all enjoyed our time together as a family. There was always something to do without even having to leave the property. We did venture to the beach a few times, and Joe and Jodi have everything you could possible need for a fun day out! The kitchen was well supplied with all that you needed. We all enjoyed cooking and enjoyed many meals sitting on the deck overlooking the beautiful scenery! We all enjoyed a beautiful meal at Tara Steak and Lobster House on Marco Island. We would recommend this beautiful house to all. You could absolutely want for nothing at this house. Joe and Jodi have supplied everything possible for a perfect week! We are looking forward to returning someday soon! This house is a must see! Thank you Joe and Jodi for being so exceptional at responding to questions and for opening your wonderful house to us!

The pictures and maps do not do this place justice...it is truley a piece of paradise. We loved the location, Isles of Capri , is quiet, safe, yet built for a vacation. This house is decorated to the 9's and very comfortable.. The best part of our vacation was the manatees that frequented the dock.

A Week in Paradise!

Our family loved every aspect of our stay in Joe & Jodi's vacation home last month (April 2010). Everything about the home is beautiful and clean: the yard is pristine with beautiful landscaping; the house was spotless when we arrived; the decorating is appropriately bright, beachy, and cheerful; the pool & spa were obviously well maintained; even the garage was immaculate! There is plenty to do at the house and in the surrounding area. My husband & sons caught many, many fish right off the dock (they also saw a manatee swim right by the dock!) The kids spent hours in the pool....plenty of toys & floats for them. My children were surprised that their grandma knew how to play pool......and play it well! They played many games. We used the bikes to explore the Isle of Capris....a nice flat area for easy riding. I enjoyed sneaking down to the hot tub/spa after the kids had gone to bed to have a few peaceful moments to myself. Beyond the house we: went on an airboat tour, and saw alligators....big hit with the kids; my oldest son had a great kayaking tour with Saltwater Sports located on the Isle of Capris at the Capris Fish House; my husband spent two full days fishing the backwaters of the Gulf with much success; I enjoyed taking my sons parasailing over Marco Island....we saw manta rays & sea turtles from way up there; and we had a lovely day at Vanderbilt Beach just north of Naples. Trust me, no one was bored on this vacation! We ate most breakfasts and some luches at the house.....enjoyed eating on the back deck overlooking the bay. There was no shortage of good restaurants to pick from for our dinners....we all gained a few pounds! Jodi and Joe were so nice to work with. They answered all e-mails promptly, and when we had trouble with the cable Joe had the cable company call us, and walk us through getting what we needed. Problem solved in 15 minutes. They are so nice to work with! I would recommend this house to anyone or any family. Our family consisted of myself, my husband, our three children (12,10,5) and my parents (68 & 69). Everyone had a wonderful time, and can't wait to get back there as soon as we can!

Island Paradise, clean and comfortable

My husband and I wanted to treat our whole family (3 generations of 6 adults and 4 children) to a week together in the sun. We usually spend the week together at a timeshare in Disney World. But we were looking to get into the real world and the Isles of Capri was perfect. For the older grandkids, age 8 and 10, we took an airboat ride. It far exceeded our expectations for fun, excitement and a closer look at animals; dolphins, aligators, pelicans up close and personal! On another day we rented a pontoon boat for all ten of us and one of our sons piloted us to a wonderful island where we splashed and played. We saw lots of dolphins enroute. The beaches on nearby Marco Island were great, but the water of our backyard bay was filled with "nature-watching" opportunities; ospreys catching and eating fish, dolphins meandering by, fishing pelicans, feeding ibises. The Naples Zoo was a wonderful place run by the Nature Conservancy which also runs the Bronx Zoo. It's do-able in a half day and it entertained all ages from a 3 year old up to we older folk. Our kids brought bikes for themselves and two of our grandkids. But there were 4 wonderful bicycles in the garage for the rest of us and the riding is fun, flat and gives a wonderful view to the island. We loved the nearby restaurants and we also ventured out to Tin City and the boardwalk for great seafood. We ate at many different restaurants and loved them all. We were especially fond of Da Vinci's in Marco Island for fresh Italian with great seafood. For breakfast and lunch we used the well-furnished kitchen. The house is so beautiful, inside and out. We all felt that the furnishings were so tasteful and comfortable and we loved the details in on the shelves and walls. We all agreed that with the heated pool and spa right on the bay, life is a breeze on the Isles of Capri!

Grandparents and family

Our family decided to spend less on gifts this holiday season and take a warm weather trip that woud provide long term fond memories for our family. We evaluated several alternatives and selected the Fernandez vacation home on the Isles of Capri. Six adults and three grandchildren, ages 4,7 and 10 arrived on December 19 and departed on December 26. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. There was lots of room for the kids to play and for the adults to relax. The kids really enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, pool table and catching fish from the dock. We took our grandson on a backwater charter fishing trip and he caught the "fish of his life"! The adults enjoyed bike rides and walks in the quiet neighborhoods of Isles of Capri. The local restaurants were great. We also spent time in Marco Island and Naples both of which are within 30 minutes of the house. The beaches in Marco are about 15 minutes drive and they are beautiful. We will certainly come back again some day.

It should be: See this house before you .... Or better see this home before you....Because it feels like home directly after entering the front door for the first time. Wether you are with 1 or 2 families, there is room enough for everybody. Relaxing on the boat-deck spotting dolphins is great. Enjoying the swimmingpool and jacuzzi is wonderfull. The pool-table is as good as new. Our children (24,21 and 17) had a lot of fun. The rooms are beautifull. Everything is clean and well kept. And when there are some things that should be fixed you just have to call the owners to get it fixed. They know the people they have to contact and already the next day the problems are solved. If it should be fixed the same day, I am convinced it would not be a problem. The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood and directly at the water (of course). Shopping is not far away. Very convenient is the fact that the "downstairs appartment has a small kitchen and a refridgerator. So many things you need while staying around the poolarea can directly be taken out of that fridge. What more is there to say. When I rate this house (and its owwers) excellent, I really mean it. Go and see for yourself.

We just spent a week at the house, like other reviews the photos do not due the house justice. It is so spectacular, cozy, well decorated. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, felt like having them join us, very friendly. They even called during the week to make sure everything was okay. The house had everything you could possibly need. Most of our time was spent in the amazing pool and hot tub. The views from either balcony are breath taking along with the sunsets. It was so made our family vacation a trully relaxing and wonderful week by having such a fantastic home to stay in, thanks Jodi for making your home ours. Lynda, Greg and girls & friends.

Can't say enough good things about this house and/or our experience renting from Joe and Jodi. The house is beautiful and the pics really don't do it justice. Everything we needed was there. We spent a lot of time in the pool and enjoying the lanai area. Joe and Jodi were great to rent from. They called a couple times to "check" on us and wish us safe travel as well. I would recommend this house to ANYONE and would rent from these two again in a hearbeat!

Simply the best

We stayed in this house in the summer of 2008 and we enjoyed it so much so we had to go back in the summer of 2009 - unfortunately we were a bit slow booking, so the house was only vacant for one week during our vacation. This time we didn't want to make the same mistake again so we have already booked this beautiful house for 3 weeks in the summer of 2010. Usually we don't go to the same country each year and certainly not to the same house.......but this is something different. You will find the house and area irresistible - just to mention some of it; the view, the lanai area, the pool, the pool table, the peace or just spending time looking at the bay and all the fish, dolphins etc. All members of our family play golf and we got to play some very interesting courses "just around the corner" - or very near by the house. The house is very well-maintained and clean and the owners - Jodi and Joe - are so nice to "work with", everything is in order. So we will with great pleasure - during the long winter months in Denmark - be looking forward to going back next year.

The pictures do not do this home justice! This is truly an amazing and beautiful home. The property is immaculate and luxurious. We enjoyed the home with a total of 4 couples and had plenty of room. We were very close to the public beaches, could fish right off the private dock, and also enjoyed some outdoor dining poolside--WHAT A VIEW! We also took advantage of a sport fishing charter service very close by. The owners are a delight to work with. We could easily come back for another vacation here. Don't miss out on this incredible home.

FABULOUS, AWESOME, AND AMAZING!!

The title words most accurately describe our magnificent Florida vacation the week of May 23-30, 2009! We had 10 people (Grandma, Grandpa, Great Aunt, 4 adult kids and 3 children ages 1, 3 & 8) in this luxurious, yet comfortable home. The amount of space was incredible and the home was most beautifully decorated. We loved sitting on the upper deck, playing cards and Scrabble (games provided) while looking out over the water, watching the sunset. The in-ground pool was perfect for all! It was so nice that the owners provided toys and floats for us to use. It was also great that they provided a beach stroller, beach umbrellas and chairs, which we used several times on Tiger Beach and South Beach, both located on Marco Island - a short drive away. One day, we rented a pontoon boat for the day and drove right up to the dock to unload people and gear. Some of our group fished off the dock (equipment also provided), and they even saw some starfish at the water's edge! It was wonderful that the adult kids had their own space on the lower level of the home. They could be with us and yet have their privacy, too. This was honestly one of the BEST vacations we've ever taken. We not only spent lots of time at the beach, but we also ate at a number of excellent sea-side restaurants, went off-shore fishing, toured the Everglades via airboats, visited Smallwood’s Store (the first General Store in Florida) and went shopping on Marco Island. It was a pleasant reprieve to come back to our vacation home at the end of each day. This house is truly perfect for everyone, although those with disabilities might have trouble with the stairs leading to the upper main level. The Great Aunt was in a wheel chair, which was a bit of a challenge, but we managed to get her up and down and she, too, thoroughly enjoyed the trip and had a great experience! Owners Joe & Jodi were exceptionally easy to work with and were very responsive to our needs, which were few. They even called us a couple of times to check and see how things were going. We truly cherished their home and loved our vacation time there!

The pictures of this property do not do it justice, this house is lovely and the location is fantastic. We had a wonderfull time, there were 10 of us, Grandma, Grampa, two sets of parents, and four kids aged 3 and under (and we all had lots of space). The pool was always nice, the views of the bay were great and at sunset they are breathtaking. We saw dolphins swimming in the bay on a couple of different occasions. As well as fishing jumping all of the time. There were lots of things to do nearby from shopping to eating to entertaining the kids. We would recommend this house not only to a friend but to anyone who wants a peacefull and relaxing vacation.

Excellent Vacation Home

We have just returned from a wonderful week at this home on the Isle of Capri. We met extended family there to vacation together--5 adults, 4 children. The house was breathtaking when we walked in. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and airy, with plenty of room for everyone. The home is well-maintained, and the owners responded promptly when we needed to contact them during our stay. The lanai-covered pool was wonderful and well-used by our boys. We saw dolphins almost daily from the dock and caught a few fish as well. It was so convenient to have fishing poles and plenty of beach equipment to borrow. It made our daily trips to local beaches very relaxing. There is much to do in the area and the home is so conveniently located. It is secluded and on the water, but stores are within an easy drive. In addition to our water activities, we also visited the Naples Zoo and the Everglades. (We were pleased to see lots of alligators!) There were a few things we didn't get to, but they are on the top of our list for next year. Our entire party agreed that this is definitely something we want to do again. Joe and Jodi were so easy to work with and we would definitely recommend renting their property for a great vacation!

The title says it all! We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home in April 09. You can not go wrong with this home. Location, location, location. This home is located on a quiet little street, nice neighbors, and you can't beat the sunsets. Beaches, boat rental, shopping, and restaurants are all close. Joe and Jodi make their guests feel right at home. There are so many home touches through out the house. There are plenty of things for the kids to do, swimming, fishing, games to play and movies to watch. My children ( 8 & 4 years old) were so sad to leave and they miss their "Florida" bedroom. Amazing how fast you can get use to the good life. ;) Oh and we also got married on the lanai and hope to celebrate many anniversaries in the Isle of Capri. Can't wait to go back. Rick and Kim

Perfect vacation home!

My family and I rented this house to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary. It was perfect in every way - the numerous bedrooms and spacious layout accommodated all of us and the downstairs efficiency apt was ideal for my husband and me with our 2-yr-old. The house was very well maintained and the owners were always available to answer any questions we had at any time and I truly felt that they cared about us and wanted to make our stay the best they could. The beach supplies were so helpful - esp the umbrellas, chairs, and big cooler. The drive to Tigertail beach on Marco Island was quick and easy and access to grocery stores and restaurants was also easy. We rented a pontoon boat from the marina on the Isles of Capri which was really fun and I would recommend doing that. Overall, our week was wonderful and I'd definitely recommend this property to anybody looking for a great vacation!

5 star vacation home - look no further

We stayed in the house for 14 days together with our friends (4 adults and 4 children) - it was just perfect. So perfect that we have rented the house again this year - and we can't wait to go! All 8 loved the location and the amenities - the pool and pool table was perfect with children from age 9 to 16 and the dock was perfect for sun bathing or just to sit and enjoy the fish and birds - and not to mention the dolphins, which we saw almost everyday during our stay. The house was very well-maintained and clean. The owners gave a super customer service both before, during and after the stay. The house is close to beaches, golf, shopping etc. - something to do for all family members, boys as well as girls. We have recommened the property to friends - and a couple of our friends have already been there, and they loved it as well. So there is no more to say - than "get going" the sooner the better.

My husband and I went on vacation with some family members and all 5 of us agreed that this was the best vacation we had ever been on. This home was top notch in comfort and style. The pool coupled with the dock on the water was more than we could have hoped for. We saw dolphins, stingrays and many types of birds from the dock and upper deck of the house. The home was clean and had all the conveniences of home. Do not look any further, you have found your perfect vacation destination!
