We had a wonderful stay at Ingrid's property at the Grand Summit Resort this spring. Though the skiing was limited at this time due to lack of snow, the room and hotel met all expectations. Ingrid was fabulous from start to finish, very organized and thorough, including arranging for discount lift tickets for us prior to our arrival. The location was perfect; we walked out the front door and onto the Orange Bubble lift. I would highly recommend the resort, but in particular, as a regular VRBO customer, would recommend working with this particular owner. Thanks!!

Great condo and location

My family and I had a wonderful time at this condo. It was clean, well equiped, and offered all the amenities you expect from a 5 star resort. That includes 2 full baths, 2 fireplaces, fully equiped kitchen, could sleep 6 comfortably. The condo had a great view of the ski slopes. The spa included a heated outdoor pool, 3 hot tubs, suana, fitness center and steam room. We had access to the owners library which included a full kitchen, pool table, living and dining room, personal computer. We got to store our ski's in the owners storage area located a few feet from the back enterance. The business center offered complimentary boarding pass printing. The restaurant had great food and wonderful ambiance. The indoor heated garage was an added bonus. Room service staff was prompt and courtious. They even called us after our meal to see if we enjoyed our meal and needed anything else. I would highly recommend this condo. Thank you Christian and Ingrid.

Thank you very much for all your help, advise and making the experience so easy. We loved the Condo and all the facilities. We stayed 10 days and didn't want to leave. The 3 of us loved the mountain, quiet village of The Canyons, day trips to Deer Valley, dinner at Park City, Wholefoods was great for food shopping and the Condo was just FAB. It maybe a long way from Australia, but it was worth the trip. Next time we will stay longer.

My family had the best time! We loved the suite- it was clean, nice, had lots of space. We cooked in the kitchenette- which was well stocked. We had tons of space to lounge. Lots of space to store our ski gear and clothing. The fireplaces were fantastic! WE loved this location, and all it's amenities. We recommend this to anyone--we would return here in a second! Go, enjoy- you will love this place. Skiing, snow tubing, eating, shopping-- everything was Fantastic!

We spent last year in this unit and the owner was so helpful we decided to return again. Our family loves this location and loves skiing at the Canyons. The location is great as you are only 25 minutes from downtown SLC if you want to go down the mountain. Ingrid will answer all of your questions and her pricing is very fair -- I highly recommend selecting her unit. We have two little kids and the separate room was perfect for when they went to bed early -- and they loved the whirlpool tub! The snow was great and the resort has everything you'd want! Home away from home with all the fun!

We had a fabulous time. The unit was spacious, clean and perfect for our family of 4. This was our first time going through VRBO and Ingrid made us feel comfortable by answering our questions promptly and offering helpful advice. We loved the free wifi and Ihome docks. The two full baths were very usefull and we were able to make many meals in the kitchen. Laundry was fine, luckily there was always a free washer or dryer when we needed it. It was also nice that the clothes detergent, dishwasher detergent and liquid soap were provided. Underground parking was very convenient. It was such a great value, incredible actually.

My family and I stayed at Ingrid's unit in January 2011. We have stayed in perhaps a dozen vacation rentals in the last 5 years using VRBO and I can honestly say this was our best experience. Her unit is in great shape and is well-equipped. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our 1 bedroom rental - it comfortably slept our family of 5 including our two older children (17 and 21 years old). The resort itself is 1st class. Everything you need for a great ski vacation - rentals, lift tickets, ski valet and storage - are located on site. The gondola and a covered chair lift are located immediately out the back door of the resort. The service is consistent with a 4 star resort. Finally, Ingrid was professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this rental and resort and plan to visit with my family again.

Best Thanksgiving

We stayed at the Canyons over Thanksgiving and this is the first chance I have had to write a review. We can't say enough about the area and the condo. It was everything we expected and more. We had a terrible trip out driving across the midwest in a blizzard with a car malfunction started our trip off on the wrong tone. When we finally got to the condo Ingrid had seen to it that a welcome cheese tray was waiting for us. She was terrific to work with and everyone on property was outstanding. We would definitely stay again, this time when there is skiing. The Condo was a great place to have our family Thanksgiving it will be one we remember for a very long time.

Our family stayed over Easter weekend and had a wonderful time. The unit was perfect for our family of 4 -- very spacious and comfortable. Our 2 little kids loved the huge whirlpool tub and sitting on the window benches and watching it snow out the windows! Owners were VERY helpful (above and beyond) and there were many benefits from staying in an owner condo (free parking, free gondola, etc). We had a great time and will definitely come back.

It seemed like we looked at so many units before finding Ingrid's & we are so thankful we did. It was one of the few with actual reviews & they are all accurate. This is a beautiful condo with breathtaking views of the slopes. The view alone is priceless. It was amazing to watch them groom the runs early morning & of course to watch the skiiers. There is so much space between the large living/dining area and private bedroom (plus 2 bathrooms!) Service at Grand Summit was also top notch: the room was spotlessly cleaned and the staff never hesitated to say hello or help with any questions. One of the best parts of renting from Ingrid is Ingrid! She was so responsive & a real expert on Park City activities (both for us adults & our 4 year old!). You will not be disappointed with this rental.

My wife and I stayed in this HUGE 1 BR condo with full kitchen. We had two full baths (one with a whirlpool tub), 2 TV’s (both with DVD players and, fire places) and a dining room. We could have gotten lost! It was way more space then we’ve had on any ski vacation, and it was priced well below any studio we could find elsewhere. It was very comfortable and well appointed with storage everywhere.Ingrid was amazing in assisting us with all the information we needed to make our decision to stay. She answered all emails within 24 hours. When we had to move our reservation 3 days early, she was a gem in coordinating the last-minute change with her and with “owner services”.The staff at The Grand Summit was simply phenomenal. Whatever we needed, whenever we needed it, we had it – all served up with an awesome attitude (we wanted to take our employees with us to learn about customer service). There was even a small general store on the first level which came in handy for little things we needed without having to run out to the store. Plus, we had maid service every day for both rooms (my wife loved that part)!There is no more convenient place on the mountain than The Grand Summit. Our skies were stored overnight steps inside the rear entrance, which were steps from the gondola. Of course we’re right in the center of the action for what’s available in the village.Oh, and did you know the Grand Summit has a “swim out” heated pool to the hot tubs – way cool. Not to mention a full service spa . I surprised my wife with a 50 minute massage which she enjoyed after our second day of skiing (plus she got to use the sauna and steam bath too)Be sure to sign up for “First Tracks” and get on the mountain 90 minutes before everyone else. Well worth the price and an amazing experience!Stay in this condo – you won’t regret it! It certainly was one of the highlights of our visit to the Canyons Resort.

What a wonderful place for a family skiing vacation! This was my first time using homeaway.com and ingrid was incredible to work with!! She gave me so much information about Park City, recommended places to eat, shop, things for us to do and see while we were there. She even got my family of 5 discounted lift tickets! The Condo was huge, with tons of room for my 3 teenagers to have their own space and my husband and I had our own bedroom and bathroom. It was a such a luxury to have the gondola right out the back door of the hotel and a place to check our skis every night. We all loved the pool and hot tub! I felt very spoiled! The Grand Summit is definitely the best place to stay at The Canyons! The ski area was Awesome! The snow was not great the week we were there but there is nothing like skiing long runs, with blue sky and lots of sunshine! We will have to come back next year to get the powder!! Thanks Ingrid! I consider this condo one of the best condos we have EVER stayed in! I would recommend it to everyone! The kids really want to come back next year and so do I!

The perfect place to stay while skiing at the Canyons. You couldn't get any closer to the ski lift to start your day, and in the evening you can lay in bed and watch them groom the slopes for the following day! Kids were very comfortable sleeping in the window beds, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the pool and hot tubs were great after a day on the mountain. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Park City. Thanks so much! Andrea

Wanted to leave comment on our great stay. Everything was wonderful. Great view of the mountains and resort. The resort was perfect for apres ski. The kids loved the pool and Mom loved the spa. Dad loved convenience of the ski valet. We will hopefully be back next year.

BTW--the owner provided great customer service by answering my emails quickly and recommending places to go with our kids. That's a plus in my book!
