Private and Quiet Setting - Very Relaxing Easter Weekend!

We met our family from Houston at this cabin over Easter Weekend and we all had a blast!! The kids caught (and released) many fish, mostly catfish and one small bass. Their poles were set up to catch small fish, so we left the big ones for your next guests:-) We thought there would be alot of people over the holiday weekend and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the lake was. The lot is very private, which we loved. The owners are very easy to work with and attentive. The wireless was not working and they were going to drive an hour from their house to fix it. It was just plugged in to the wrong outlet, so it was up and running once that was figured out. The house is in the process of being updated with new floors in the master bedroom, but is really comfortable. The master bedroom has an adjacent study/bedroom with a twin bed, which was perfect for our 4 year old son. We will definitely rent this house again. Thanks so much for sharing your house, Krista!

My husband and I rented this house for Memorial Day weekend, and have already booked another weekend there. The house was very clean and comfortable, with wonderful views of the lake. The property is fantastic! It was very private and peaceful, and I loved that our dogs could run out the back door and into the lake. The owners have been wonderful to work with. This was our first time using VRBO, and they made the whole experience very easy. We are looking forward to many more future visits!

We had a great time this spring break - just what we needed - away from it all and yet close enough to all amenities to be comfortable. The house was well equipped with all applicances including a/c,w/d, satellite tv, dvd player, a selection of lake toys, books and dvds! The lake was very peaceful and our entire family -including a college student , a high school senior and a very energetic dog thoroughly enoyed the stay. We rented a canoe for 2 days and enjoyed the lake! The boat dock is right in front of the house. the sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous! Would love to go back some day. The owners were very helpful and gracious hosts! Thank you for everything!

Thanks for opening up your home to us Krista!! We had the most wonderful time and can't wait to get back. We were there for 3 days and wished we could have stayed a month. The home is beautiful and sitting on the deck looking out at the lake while sipping my morning coffee was blissful. The fishing was great...we brought a boat and having the dock right there was wonderful. Loved all the room we had in and out of the home and the seclusion is just what the doctor ordered. We set out for a weekend of pure relaxation and we got it! We didn't want to leave!!

Our Fabulous Weekend at the Lake!

I surprised my husband this past weekend for Father's Day and rented a lakehouse. This lakehouse was everything and more as described on the website. We enjoyed the quiet, beautiful and relaxing setting. The entire family fished, swam and relaxed on the dock. The house was very spacious and comfortable - perfect for our family, including our 2 dogs. All the amenities made it feel like home - we did not need to bring anything but our groceries and personal items. Our children enjoyed the variety of DVD movies and board games in the evenings. Whenever we are ready for another lake getaway - I will definitely book this one!

All I can say is "WOW!" We had such an awesome, relaxing time. My whole family (including our dog) loved, loved, loved our experience. I just want to thank you for letting us use your lakehouse. We really needed the peace and quiet. I especially loved sitting out on the deck, watching the ducks, and the wonderful view of the lake. Charles and the kids enjoyed fishing on the pier. My husband and i stayed at the lakehouse july 19-23. we loved being right on the lake, what a beautiful setting. loved all the pines. it was very secluded and peaceful.

We had a wonderful time andyou have a fantastic place out on Cedar Creek Lake. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the nice, shaded deck overlooking the lake. I look forward to returning.

Thanks so much for letting us rent your lovely lakehouse! The view is beautiful, and the house had everything we needed. Our dogs loved being able to run outside and straight into the lake to swim! This place is great if you bring your boat (as we did) because you can tie up at the dock and come and go as you please and there are extra lake toys you can use like floats and stuff. We will definately be back!
