A wonderful central location for exploring the Valley of the Moon, Sonoma and Napa.
Recently renovated with hardwood floors, crown molding, solid wood cabinets and granite counter tops, Chardonnay Cottage is a comfortable alternative to high end hotels for couples seeking privacy, two or three couples sharing a vacation, and families traveling together.
There's a fully fenced, private backyard with covered patio and picnic table to enjoy a barbecue, the rose garden, lavender and mature fruit trees; with a gate leading to a fully stocked General Store (with wine, of course). The house has central heat and air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, wood stove in the living room, washer & dryer, hair dryers and make-up mirrors in both baths, and luxury bedding with down comforters.
Families are always welcome, and a crib and high chair are available on request at no additional cost. A wonderful spot for your next Wine Country vacation!

Why the Owner Chose Kenwood
Kenwood is one of my favorite towns in Sonoma County. The scenic corrider between Sonoma and Santa Rosa is one of the most beautiful in the county and inspired Jack London to dub it the Valley of the Moon. Kenwood has a small town rural charm, yet is near fine restaurants, golf, and world class wineries. It is also one of the friendliest towns I've ever encountered and a great central location for exploring the Wine Country!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Chardonnay Cottage is exquisitely furnished and extremely comfortable - for a couple or a family. Every detail has been thoughtfully added to make a stay here a memorable one. Beds are plush pillow top, linens are 600 thread count, the kitchen is fully equipped, the gardens are tended weekly and include fruit trees, roses and lavendar. There is a picnic table and barbecue, and a wonderful general store just outside the back gate. A separate office with wireless internet enables you to stay in touch, and bedrooms and baths at opposite ends of the cottage allow for privacy.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home (& neighbours) with us. We had a wonderful time. It was a great end to a fantastic holiday. The kids loved the yard and chasing their newfound pet lizard around. Your home has everything anyone could want for a stay away from home. Sonoma will be forever a special place in our hearts and we hope to be able to return some day. For now we will be telling all our friends it is the place to visit. Thanks once again.

Having left our beloved wine country some years ago, we came back to stay in this wonderful Wine Coutry Cottage and had the time of our lives. It is bright, lovingly furnished, and wonderfully laid out. Superb for a large family or even three couples. It is located in the heart of one of the most beautiful areas of Sonoma County, completely private even though shopping for your wine and cheese and nibbles is only a short walk from your cottage door. In minutes you can be at wineries, or in Sonoma or Santa Rosa. Napa Valley is only a short ride over one of the most scenic roads in America. What a warm and wonderful experience. We miss living in the wine country as we did for many years but, you CAN go home again. The cottage is a delight and we can't wait to come back to our vacation "home".

We LOVED our stay here! Not only was the decor lovely and inviting, but the location was superb! So close to wineries,restaurants, and all local attractions. Although it has a fabulous kitchen, right outside the back gate is a divine market where you can buy all kinds of goodies...Much easier than cooking!!! We cannot wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay in the Chardonnay Cottage very much. The house is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. We found the house equipped with every little thing we needed for a week stay of 4 adults and a baby, and much more. The garden is beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed it as well. The cottage location is perfect, close to everything we wanted to visit in the Napa and Sonoma valleys, and minutes walk from a grocery store, a coffee place and a restaurant.
