If you are a fan of running guests will receive autographed cards and maps of her favorite runs in Mammoth.
Woodwinds townhomes are located along the 5th Fairway of the Sierra Star Golf Course (California's highest course), nestled in a Jeffrey Pine tree forest. Woodwinds completed construction at the end of 2007 and offers a gourmet kitchen, lush furnishings, private spa, high ceilings, and easy access to The Village at Mammoth, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, golfing, mountain biking, running, hiking, fishing and shopping. Other amenities include heated flooring and flat screen TV's.
On the 1st floor of Woodwinds is the 1-car attached garage, 1 bedroom (with a double bed and twin bunk on top), 1 bathroom, laundry closet and the spa. On the 2nd level is the kitchen, family room (with sleeper sofa), deck with BBQ, another bedroom (with a double bed) and bathroom. The top floor has the master bedroom (with king bed) and bathroom (with a bath tub and a separate shower). There is extra covered guest parking down the street about 50 yards.
Deena encourages you to have a 'green' vacation and recycle glass/cans/plastic and use the recyclable coffee mugs provided in the townhome. The townhome is cleaned with environmentally safe cleaning agents.

The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
Guests at the Woodwinds enjoy going on walks and runs in the nieghborhood and being close to The Village at Mammoth. During summer, guests are able to walk to the Jazz Festival, Bluesapalooza festival and various arts/crafts festivals in the forest nearby. But watch out for bears looking for food...and for golfers yelling 'fore'!

Deena's Running Retreat is the perfect place for any outdoor enthusiast vacationing in Mammoth Lakes! My running teammates and I could just step out the door and within minutes be on some of our favorite running trails. The state of the art kitchen has all the equipment you might ever need for a post- workout recovery meal. The hot tub in the back is a great way to loosen up tight muscles. By the end of the day when we were exhausted from all our hard work, we enjoyed relaxing on the cozy couches in front of the large flat screen television or gazing out the windows at the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. -Kate O'Neill, 2004 Olympian and 3rd at 2007 Chicago Marathon
