  We all LOVED the house. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and fully stocked! The pool and outside amenities were awesome! Loved the area, within walking distance to so much! The beach was only about a block or so away. Bit of a treck if carrying too much, but able to drive closer and park. Overall, everyone involved in the vacation was completely satisfied with this rental. Looking very forward to another visit...and another, and another!

  What a neat place and very close to the beach. The dogs loved the beach and the folks they met couldn't believe how friendly and well trained Doberman's were. They aren't your average Hollywood dogs. The pool was spotless as was the home which was well furnished with everything one would need. We were there during the slow season which was nice. Because of the economy many restaurants and businesses have closed but, there was still plenty of good ones. Scampi's was one I was sorry to see that was closed and for sale. But don't let stop you from going to SPI. There's something magic about crossing that causeway. Since this was one of the only places that allowed more than one dog, but dogs at all, we'll be returning next September if not before.

  We were absolutely blown away with how well the photos represented this house. Actually they do not even do the property justice. From the decor, to the amenities it couldn't have been more perfect! The owner is a delight and many items from the photos have been UPgraded. We will definitely be coming back to this little jewel and hopefully be staying much, much longer. You will not be disappointed.

  This is one of the most beautiful properties on the island, the pictures don't do it justice. This beautifully decorated and well kept home is centrally located on the island and is very spacious. The fully equipped kitchen plus a grill and mini fridge on the lani made it easy to prepare home cooked meals. The pool was great for cooling off after a day in the sun. The bedrooms are very roomy and the beds are very comfortable. The owners were very attentive to all our needs and a pleasure to deal with. We will surly stay here again on our next trip to South Padre Island.

  We loved this home and had so much fun! The pictures do not do this house justice. It is so much more spacious then it appears in the photos provided. We had 7 in our party but could have easily accommodated more people. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided, I especially liked the big kitchen where everyone could hang out, cook, talk and still not get in each others way. The weather was great and we used the pool a lot and enjoyed the outdoor kitchen space. The beach is just a short walk away not an inconvenience at all. We loved our stay so much we decided we would like to make it our annual SPI getaway. We hope Seth and Kathy will have us.

  Overall, we had a blast, I'll just go bullet point style with my thoughts: PROS -My wife and I had a great visit 5/4 - 5/8. -I agree with previous reviews that the condo is much bigger than the pictures make it appear. -It's about dead center of the island, I'd say about 200yds to the ocean and 300yds to the bay. We easily walked to both, but opted to load our car up and drive to the beach and park along the coast for our beach days. It would be a little far to lug coolers/chairs/etc -We were glad we opted for a condo with a pool as it was very convenient to have right outside the door and since the back of the unit faces south, the pool was always drenched in sun and the back patio was always in the shade. It warmed the pool and gave you the option to stay out of the sun as well. -There were plenty of pots/pans/utensils and space in the fridge & freezer for dining within the unit. All you need to bring is food/drink. We picked up cooking spray & saran wrap which also came in handy. -Very convenient location. Several bar/restaurants/shops within 2 blocks and all the rest were just a 5 minute drive. CONS -About the only thing we didn't like was that the grates on the grill were rusting, so we opted not to grill burgers one night because of a safety concern. Replace those and the rest of the condo is tip-top! All in all, we had a great visit on the island and wouldn't hesitate to stay in the same unit on future visits! J & S

  We really loved this vacation home. It had all the ameneties we needed, great location and very clean. We especially loved the pool. It came in handy since he had some rain. The owner is also great and is always available for questions. We can't wait to go back. BTW, the pictures on this site do not do the place justice. It is much larger than it appears, especially the kitchen, dinning and living room.

  My husband and I invited some family and friends to spend the week with us at South Padre Island. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The house was clean and very comfortable. The open layout makes it easy to watch the kids. The large kitchen allowed my sister and I cook together without getting in each others way. She is more the cook and I’m the baker, the kitchen got a work out and we had a blast. We all loved the easy walk to the beach and some of the family never missed a sunrise, some of the others preferred to wait for the sunset. The absolute best part was the beautiful oversized pool and all the outside amenities i.e. the breezy lanai, the outside grilling space with sink and small fridge and the outside half bath was incredibly convenient. Thanks to Kathy and Seth we made some great memories, everyone kept talking about renting the house next year.

  We traveled from Wisconsin to South Padre for a vacation and we were so pleased with our rental choice. Everything about your house was spetacular. We loved the short walk to the beach, grocery store and shopping. The pool was wonderful and so convenient!! We really could have spent the day right at the house and been perfectly happy. The bedrooms were spacious and so comfortable. Even the pull out bed was pleasent to sleep on. Dealing with Kathy and Seth such a pleasure. She made it so easy for me to communicate with her. They would respond to my e mails or phone calls within hours. Definitely worth every penny we spent on the house. Would never think of renting a condo or hotels after staying here at almost the same price. Thanks for a memorable vacation and being so easy to work with!! Kathy Peppler

  We stayed at this home in Feb. I am now back online trying to figure a way that I can go back for another stay. Very well taken care of. Clean and very easy to work with. I would recommend this home to anyone.
