This quiet, recently refurbished first floor apartment (55 sq.m) features high quality finishes, all new electrical and plumbing systems, open kitchen and stunning, original vaulted brick ceilings (date stamped 1867 in the bedroom). All windows of the apartment overlook a private courtyard.
The building, dating from 1906, was originally a convent of nuns, then converted into a condo in the late 1920's. A coat of arms is still visible in the entrance hall.

Features & amenities: fully equipped kitchen, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, microwave/grill oven, kettle, laptop+Internet Broadband Access, Skype credit for guests.
This flat can also accommodate up to 3 or 4 people for short term rental. Perfect for families spending 4 or 5 days in Rome!

The apartment is located approximately 150 meters from the Vatican Museum Entrance and St. Peter's Basilica. Nearby P.zza Risorgimento (50 meters) is the end of the line for a wide range of buses and trams, serving the centre of the city. The nearest metro stop (Ottaviano - Line A) is located 200 meters from the apartment.
Ideal location to visit the Vatican Museums -including the extraordinary Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Stanze of Raphael -, St. Peter's Basilica, Castel S.Angelo and P.zza Navona (crossing Ponte S.Angelo). Even P.zza del Popolo and Trastevere are reachable on foot.
Many restaurants, wine bars, cafés - a nice grocery market is only two blocks away from the apt. - a supermarket (STANDA) and an excellent ice-cream shop (Via dei Gracchi 272): everything you need is just 2-5 minutes walk from the apartment!

  • Believe everything everyone says in these overwhelmingly positive reviews & look no further for the perfect home away from home in Rome! Alessandra was wonderfully communicative, thoughtful and cheerfully flexible every step of the way, from her prompt email responses to the time we reluctantly said goodbye. The flat is immaculately clean, super quiet, comfortable yet stylish & roomy with plenty of storage for bags & clothes, and ideally located in a fantastic, safe & walkable neighborhood close to all major sights, the metro, markets & restaurants. We especially appreciated the washer-dryer and laptop with Internet access. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Thanks for everything Alessandra!

  • Alessandra's warm, helpful & hospitable spirit was evident from the time I communicated with her about availability of this charming apartment until the day we left Rome. After arranging a driver from the apartment for us and checking on us by phone after our airplane arrival, she met us on the street in front of the apartment to show us around and make us feel welcome and at home. The apartment is as lovely as the pictures on the website (if not more so), very clean, comfortable and had many extra amenities. We enjoyed the welcome basket of pasta, sauce, wine & other goodies. We were able to get anywhere in Rome so conveniently either by foot or by the Metro, which is situated only a few blocks away. Also, don't miss the market just down the street for an authentic shopping experience. Alessandra's warm hospitality, charming personality, graciousness and helpfulness made our stay in Rome so much more pleasant. It was a pleasure meeting you Alessandra and we will definitely stay in your apartment again if we find ourselves in Rome! Ciao!

  • Alessandra made us feel right at home from the second that she met us on the street and accompanied us to her charming apartment. It was sparkling clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet (truly a home away from home. The location was amazing! We easily walked to St.Peter's, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Nevona and more churches than we could count. When needed, the Metro was minutes away. Alessandra was most helpful in giving tips to good eating places and made herself available to us should we have any questions. She even arranged for a driver to the airport. There is no doubt that we would recommend this apartment to all our friends and anyone else who wants to enjoy their stay in Rome.

  • we had a wonderful 10 day break at Alessandras flat and she was delightful and a great help.the flat itself was ideal for me and my wife on this anniversary break; a great location with e/thing you would need close at hand, ie shops,metro,restaurants etc. Ale. also left a lovely welcome pack and roses for my wife- thanks again Ale.!   • Thanks to Alessandra for how helpful she has been. The welcome basket was so generous & the apartment is fantastic. Location is great, only 10 mins from Vatican and Metro stops. We found a lovely restaurant called 'Abruzzese', which is 2 minutes by foot. I especially recommend the bruschette with garlic to start and the calzone. All in all it has been an amazing honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for more. We are definetely going to recommend this apartment to family and friends. Thank you!

Ha sido una gran suerte encontrarte por internet, - menuda efectividad pues gracias a que Alessandra es una 'pazza' del internet pude acordar la reserva de este maravilloso apartamento; desde la reserva del mismo ha sido genial nunca me habia encontrado con nadie que respondiera a los correos electronicos tan rápido. Gracias Alessandra, eres todo un ejemplo a seguir! El apartamento es una maravilla, la ubicacion es perfecta, està en uno de los barrios mejores de Roma para vivir, lleno de tiendas interesantes, y con toque de glamour. Por otro lado, tiene la heladeria mejor de Roma a 4 manzanas, esto si que es un detalle que no puede pasar por alto. Tenéis el desayuno incluido, en una cafeteria muy cerca, donde te dan una "colazione" por todo lo alto. Hemos pasado unas vacaciones incribles y en este apartamento nos hemos encontrado mejor que en casa! De hecho ya se ha quedado bautizado con el nombre de " Nuestra casa en Roma" Carolina & Carlos
