  There are many reasons to rent this home and only one not to and that reason is if the calendar is booked. I am a very picky renter and reviewed hundreds of homes before choosing this one. One never knows what they are going to get when renting, but this is the real deal. Every single word of the description is accurate. The property is extremely clean and the owner rocks. Nick was great to work with and the housekeeper, Nora was an added bonus. The personal involvement by the owner is added value to this rental. The home is spacious (we had 17 guests-11 adults; 6 children); the furnishings are beyond what is needed; I would rent this house even if I didn't need this much space. The pool area is fabulous and the lake views are as breath taking as the ocean views. The actual views are far better than the pictures demonstrate. Simply magnificent.The landscaping is beautiful and well manicured. The double washers/dryers and double dishwashers and double kitchen supplies (dishes, cookware, utensils, etc.) exceeded the need. The owners have done a wonderful job ensuring the home is furnished for large groups. This is rare in larger homes. The pool area was a fan favorite, moreso than the beach; the men were certain they were in heaven with the two 50" TV's. The smaller children loved the windows under the larger window panels around the house. They were entertained on the one rainy day, and declined to use the door to the deck-they thought the windows were little doors for them (have to rent the property to know what I mean). The location was perfect; close to everything one could possible want or need. Finally, thank you Nick for your personal involvement and to your wife for her vision of the furnishings. You demonstrated the difference between an involved owner and an absentee owner. I'll be back whether I need the 8 bedrooms or not.

  We have been coming to Destin and staying at Destiny for two years! We love the location, the accommodations, the helpfulness of the owners, just everything! We can't say enough about it! Perfect for a large extended family getaway. Lots of room with all the convenience...two washer/ dryers, two ovens/ two dishwashers. Lake view and pool is amazing. Thank you Nick for all you do!

  Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your marvelous home! It was perfect in every way (for ages 19 months to 80!), especially when the weather turned cold during the wedding! We moved the family reception indoors without a hitch and had room to spare. Nick, this is by far the cleanest rental we have stayed in over the years. The furnishings are outstanding. The opportunity to check in early was wonderful, allowing us an extra day at the beach! I wish we could have remained another week to rest up from the wedding excitement. I miss most wrapping up in a blanket and enjoying that first cup of coffee on the balcony with the early risers while others slept in. The beautiful views of the lake and the ocean, gorgeous pool, lovely balconies, large kitchen, plenty of seating, seven bathrooms(!), garage...I could go on and on. Thanks for greeting us on arrival and for attending to our every need. We will always cherish the good memories of Wedding Week at Destination Paradise.

  My best friends and I just held a girls weeknd at this house and it was perfect! There were 9 of us and we were very comfortable in the house. The rooms were as pictured on the website but even better. We especially liked how roomy and comfortable the main living area was for us to gather in at night. The walk to the beach was an easy, short one and for those who wanted to stay by the pool, it was well maintained and a very relaxing place to hang out. We will definitely be back!

  We stayed at the property with 4 other couples and had a great time in this beautiful home. The house is very well maintained and the property and view is gorgeous. This house would be perfect for our children and grandchildren to stay in!

  We rented this home the week of 8/11/12. This is a beautiful home with a great floor plan. We were 18 in our group with children from 7 to 18+ years old, and we never felt crowded. This home has great access to the beach, and to the Crab Trap restaurant. The pool is the biggest pool from the other homes that I saw. It was nice to have access to the community Tennis court and the fitness center. We would defenetelly like to comeback again. Nick was great to deal with.

  Our family group of 18 was right-sized for this large home. The accomodations were first rate and the location could not have been better. The ocean is across the street and, more importantly, at the same level as the house (no stairs to the beach). The lake behind the home makes for a nice setting and the private pool was a welcome relief from the sand and hot temperatures at the beach in the afternoon. The only drawback was the construction next door with noisy heavy equipment starting at 7:00 a.m. Hopefully, the neighboring home will completed in the not too distant future.

  We loved our stay at this house. It was very well furnished - great decor and layout--as well as good gathering spaces for a large family. The pool was probably the best we have seen at a rental house- large and sunny most of day with part some shade in afternoon. Large pool deck and plenty of chairs. Loved the location right across from the beach- it was so easy. We would not have wanted to stay anywhere else and have to drive or take a golf cart to the beach. The grounds felt very spacious as the park and gazebo was on the side by the pool. We used the gas grill quite a bit-- this kitchen is really equipped. It was very thoughtful to put in 2 dishwashers and 2 washers and dryers- really came in handy. Our kids are 21,23,25,27 and 29-- they loved everything about this too as did their various boyfriends and girlfriends who came with.

  We stayed here for a family vacation. We had 20 people in the house and there was PLENTY of room. The house was even better than the photos. The kids LOVED the pool area. You are so very close to the beach...it is literally across the street. It is so clean and the furnishings are fantastic. We have zero complaints and can't wait to stay there again next year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this house to anyone wanting a fantastic trip to Destin :)

  We held a family reunion here with numerous little toddlers. The multiple bedrooms and abundant bathrooms were fantistic to allow children to sleep undisturbed and avoid congestion waiting for a bathroom. The weather in mid-March was quite cool and somewhat windy so we were grateful we'd paid to heat the pool. The views and beach access are very good. The owners take very good care of the property and are very responsive. The pictures accurately display the property. The dining room table only seats 8 and so you can't all sit down together for a meal. You have to spread out to eat at the bars with bar stools, a minor drawback. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
