Our lovely apartment is superbly located in a tree-lined Victorian terrace. Situated close to central London, but away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. A 5 minute walk brings you to the excellent bus and underground travel services that will transport you to the fashionable Camden Town and Camden Lock, the historic Highgate and Hampstead all within walking distance from the apartment or the tourist areas of Central London and beyond, (If you’re planning a trip to Paris we are 5 minutes travel on the tube or a short taxi ride from the new St Pancras, Eurostar terminal). A tube journey from Tufnell Park will bring you to Central London within 5-10 minutes. So whatever you fancy you will be within quick and easy reach of what this magical city has to offer.

The quiet enclave of Tufnell Park, with its leafy streets, bay-fronted period houses and attractive architecture, is nestled between Camden Town, Highgate and Central London. A short walk brings you to the open spaces of Hampstead Heath and Kenwood House with its vast park, open air classical music concerts in the summer months and 18th century country house; now a museum and restaurant.   • My wife and I found this apt. very suitable for our vaction in London. It was clean, spacious and the kitchen was very good & handy to make some of our meals. Catherine offered us her warm hospitality which made our stay even more enjoyable. Due to her advice, we did not miss out on any major parks and places to sightsee. The apt. is close to the buses and the Tube, walking distance. Shops, pubs, banks and food stores were just up the street too. We had a lovely time at this location and I highly recommend this apt.

  • This location is just a short walk to the Tufnell Park Tube Station. The “Basement Flat” is clean, inviting and very comfortable. It is in a real live neighborhood that is very quiet and well kept. Close by are several small neighborhood “Markets” and just a short walk away (5-10 min walk max) are multiple grocery stores and restaurants. It is just close enough to Central London by Tube that it takes only minutes. At the same time it is just outside the “City” enough to make you feel like you are at home. We will definitely be back to “1BR/1BA Central Leafy London Location Tufnell Park”.
