We were surprised when we saw the cottage and location! Pictures online cannot describe the beauty here. Wildlife and the peace we foound were exactly what we needed. Fishing, reading, walking, wildlife, and views were great! Hope to book again next year if all goes well. This is a great example of God's beauty! God Bless!

Dale, Thank you for everthing! The place is wonderful and we had a great time. The weather could have been better for boating but spent most of our time at the famous sandbar on Torch Lake! The kids loved tubing! We would love to come back! Thanks again!

Thank you for the use of your beautiful cabin. Although the weather wasn't conducive to do all the boating we were hoping to do, it gave us a chance to reconnect with all the wonderful sites to see in the area. Thanks for the tip on fishing Skegemog Lake! The one full day we had on the lake, we managed to catch more fish than I expected to catch all week! I also have thoughts on returning during the Firearms season to harvest one of the two beautiful bucks we saw in the back yard most every morning. We were also visited by a flock of turkeys and a raccoon. Your proerty is spectacular and I got some great picturs from atop the hill! Thanks again,

Had a nice time in your chalet. We spent most of the time at Torch Lake just relaxing. We did go hikin looking for Big Foot tracks! LOL We did see some turkey, deer, and coon. Enjoyed sitting on the deck looking and listening to the birds. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay! We had a great time! We enjoyed grilling out and spending the day at the sandbar on Torch Lake. We drove by the cherry trees on our way to Pearl's Cajun restaurant in Elk Rapids. The food was awesome! We are looking forward to our coworker's wedding tonight! We have had a great time bonding, sitting out by the firepit looking out over the valley and staring up at the stars. It has been a relaxing weekend. We hope others have as good a time as us. Thanks!

We truly enjoyed your chalet! It was a nice change from the busy city! We spent a few days on Torch Lake on our pontoon and very much appreciated your boat slip! It was very easy access and a nice ride through the river. After all the boys left, we were able to enjoy all the small towns from Rapid City to Charlevoix and ended up in Elk Rapids for the neighborhood celebration and ate at a wonderul Cajun restaurant, "Pearls". We look forward to returning in the near future!

It was so peaceful and we enjoyed celebrating our 25th Anniversary here. :>) We brought our own boat and loved spending time on the lakes here- especially Torch Lake. ( SO Gorgeous!) It was fun boating to the Dockside Restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and water were great!! We also enjoyed visiting "The dock shops" in Elk Rapids. One a cloudy/ rainy day we enjoyed visiting shops in Traverse City and in the pretty town of Alden. The sunsets from the chalet and evening campfire were also Great! Thanks for providing a wonderful place to stay. We hope to come back again sometime!

Hey thanks for everything! We had a wonderful time. The chalet was great to stay in. We took some walks around and the view over the trail is really beautiful! It was a bit stormy at times, but still fun. Anyways, thanks again for offering the chalet and all. We all really enjoyed the trip.

Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to help us with any extra things we needed. This Beautiful Chalet was way beyound my expectations! What a wonderful view! This was my wedding weekend and what a place to relax and prepare for my special day. Thank you so much for letting my family join us for dinner on Friday evening. We cooked-fried- blue gill out on the patio. We ended up getting a little wet but what a great place to watch a storm run through. My girlfriends loved the place and it was a great bonding time for us. Terry and I enjoyed the peace and quiet after our wedding. Sitting and listening to the wonderful nature outside and the breeze blowing throught the screens. God Bless you both.

We were so thrilled with our rental that we will be staying a week next year! The property was landscaped and beautifully decorated. I briefly met the owners and they are extremley nice and informative. We were actually happy to be away from the water to enjoy the grounds, and the deck. So, days on the boat, and evenings relaxing by the fire pit and the deck. It was heaven. Thank you

What a great place! We have come up to go to Torch Lake now for 4 years and this was by far the best! We love nature and this place has it all! The first night here we saw a shooting star. The sky looked like a planetarium! This trip was 3 couples getaway from kids and work. It is so beautiful, we will be bringing our children sometime so they can experience it! Thanks again!

We just arrived! Very nice place, we are grilling hotdogs! We had a great time on the Torch Lake Sandbar. My family is here and we went to Dockside and ate too! Great Boaters Place- We also traveled up to Elk Rapides and around. We will be Back!! "Very peaceful and lots of trails and views"!!

Dale - Thank you for sharing your beautiful chalet with us! We enjoyed the nature and seclusion. We were celebrating our 20th. wedding anniversary, so this place was the perfect blend of aloneness and hiking and culture. We enjoyed the doe and tiny fawn, the mama raccoon and her kits and the hummingbird. Special favorite hiking areas were Grass River Natural area, Sand Lakes Quiet Area, and Muncie Lake, although Coy Mountain and Seven Bridges were also stunning! We also traveled to Glen Arbor's "Blu", Suttons Bay's "Martha's Leelanau Table" and Elk Rapids' "Siren hall" for some fantastic meals. The wineries and the Crystal Gardens of Frankfort also were fun. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen to prepare our wonderful meals, too. The firepit is a great touch and we actually had clear skies one night to do some star gazing! Love the deck for the view and shade on hot afternoons- lots of reading and just solace. Thank you again for the opportunity to stay here. We look forward to coming back some day!

Had a great time in the chalet! Spent most of our time on Torch Lake wakeboarding, tubing, and anchored at the famous sandbar!! Will miss the blue, blue waters. Hopefully we captured some of that in our pictures!
