Enjoy the country life on this 5 acre property with pond, pool, view of horses and mountains. Great location for ski weekends, situated above the heat and below the snow! Only ten minutes from downtown Grass Valley with its great restaurants, local artists, and shopping. Another 5 minutes is its twin, Nevada City, with similar activities including live theatre.
Explore the unique history of Rough and Ready with its infamous reputation of succeededing from the Union. It continues to have an independent attitude and generous funnybone. For wine-lovers, this town boasts of award-winning local wineries, as well as being the headquarters of Zinfandel Advocates and Producers.
This is a huge house, perfect for a multi-family get-away. The upstairs includes; 3 bedrooms seperated from master suite, kitchen, living room and dining room. The downstairs can be considered a separate unit (without kitchen) and includes: private game room (can be closed for noisy kids), 2 bedrooms, one bath and a bonus play room. We've intentionally omitted internet, TV or computers. This is a place to unplug and pay attention to nature. We did compromise, of course, on the Wii games.
