Great location, perfect weather, well appointed home........it was such a wonderful place that we want to return and bring others! The deck is so peaceful looking straight at the beach, listening to the surf, and watching the sunsets. The living room has two distinct sitting areas: the tv and the fireplace, with several great spots to read.....all with beach views.

Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners.

My family and I would like to thank you for being able to enjoy your wonderful condo in Cape San Blas. We fell in love with the location and the serenity of the atmosphere. We brought our dogs with us and I have to say it was such a freedom to be able to take them to the beach whenever they wanted a walk. The condo was in great shape and we have no complaints, only great memories. My daughter still talks about the wonderful living room views that allowed her to cook in the kitchen and enjoy the ocean view. We will defiantly keep you in our vacation revisits, we have always wanted to visit the panhandle in the fall, I am sure it is beautiful as well.

After vacationing at CSB several times, this is one of our favorite places to stay. This condo is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The view from the deck is amazing and the beach is only steps away. We only communicated with the owner by email because she was so responsive. The condo was clean and comfortable upon our arrival. The pictures and description of this unit are accurate - what you see is what you get. What a great place to stay!

Very spacious home situated steps from the beach. It is set back a little, but you still have a great view. We would definitely stay again. Cape San Blas is a remote and quiet place to get away to-no crowds! You can walk your dog on the beach, build a campfire at night-even leave your stuff on the beach with no worries! They only draw back for this property were the steps for my elderly dog-which the owners warned me about-he was a little hesitant about them. Would go back in a heartbeat. Cape San Blast- it should be called!

Oh my lord we had an awesome good time on the Cape and the apartment. The view from the deck is absolutely stunning - we just couldn't get enough of it. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and all of the utilities are in perfect condition. We just can’t wait to get back there! Thanks for great Easter vacation. FANTASTIC BEACH HOME

My son, daughter-in law, 8 month old grandson and I were lucky enough to have stayed at Cape Sands Landing the last week of March through April 2nd 2011. We couldn't have been more pleased. The unit was clean, spacious, and very nicely decorated. Just a few steps to one of the most beautiful uncrowded beaches on the Gulf. The view of the beach from the deck was great and I enjoyed sitting out there watching the sunset, then watching the stars come out. You can actually seen them since there are no street lights to mess up the view. We also took advantage of the barbeque grill on the back deck several nights but did drive into Appalach and PC a couple of times. By the way Boss Oyster in Appalach has some amazing seafood as well as Sharkey's in PC. We did have a day with storms and rain so I laid all day and read some books that Mary has so thoughtfully provided, which, by the way, is something I never get to do at home!! I would NOT recommend this rental to persons with physical disabilities as the 3 flights of steps could be a challenge. We are blessed with good health and just thought of it as good exercise.! Hopefully, we will have an opportunity to return one day soon.

My wife and I spent are 2yr Anniversary at this rental and had a lot of fun. We enjoy the laid back non-commercialized setting and there are some great restaurants in the surrounding area. The owners are great people and we thank them for offering such a great, affordable, pet friendly rental.

We had a wonderful time staying at your place on the Cape. The weather was cold and windy at first but cleared up nicely and we had 2 nearly perfect days on the beach. I can't say enough about our stays here. We always enjoy spending time at Cape San Blas and the accommodations are complete and comfortable. It is always quiet when we stay there and we really enjoy the sunsets. The rental is close to the state park and there are several boat ramps in the area if you own a boat or personal watercraft. The owners always treat us like family - kind and gracious. The lofty deck provides a wonderful place to sit back and watch time roll by with each wave while you sip on a drink with an umbrella in it! I highly recommend this beach rental. I plan to go back as soon as I get the chance!

Angela Voorhees show details Aug 7 (4 days ago) This was my second rental on Cape San Blas-a beautiful beach. We rented a larger home on the next street over with our adult children over last Labor Day weekend. The listing description and photo for this unit is deceptive and misleading. This is a three story building not a two story as it appears in the picture. It is not directly on the beach. You must walk down 3 floors, along a driveway past smelly trash cans then down a wooden walkway over the dunes to get to the beach. They neglect to tell you that it is a second tier location, ie. your view of the ocean and beach is blocked by the back of two 3 story houses. You can see the beach between the buildings.Upon arrival we found the storm door scratched and the back door lock was not opening. It was not operating normally and we did not want to force it. We did not receive our security deposit within 7 days of departure. The owner was unresponsive until 44 days later we were told we were being charged for moving decorative shells on display, moving an ottoman. door closure and leaving 2 window shades up. An umbrella that was duct tapped would not close all the way with normal use so I left a note explaining that in the unit when we left. We made sure to clean and return all dishes, clean counters, stack towels,return coasters, empty and clean refrig, and lock door.Our respect of the property was met with unresponsiveness followed by false accusations. We were told why they were holding our sd 44 days after rental. Contract says 2 weeks.We should be refunding half the rent because my sister, who has a heart condition and arthritis, was not abIe to use the beach as much as she would have liked to due to all the stairs. We rented this place to relax and write the memorial service for our recently deceased parents. This whole experience has left us numb. I would not recommend renting from these people I have never been treated this disrespectfully in my 40+ vacation rentals. I too have been a landlord and this is not how you treat people. Would not recommend renting from these owners.

Owner response:We are a two story building with parking underneath so there are stairs to climb. This is noted in the description of the property. We are first tier but as you can see from the pictures there is no building directly in front of us, we have not advertised that we are beach front. The patio umbrella was broken, door closure on storm door was ripped from frame, sun coating on storm door was torn in several places. The furniture, some wall pictures, and decorations were rearranged by these guests. In our years of renting to responsible individuals, this was the first bad encounter we had with a renter.

We loved our stay here. The house was well stocked for our beach stay and they even provided beach chairs and a beach umbrella. The view was fantastic and the sunsets incredible. We have been coming to this area for many years and we would recommend this home to our friends and plan to stay here again.

This is a very nice home with a great view and close proximity to the beach. It is clean and spacious. The king bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable and the linens and towels are a very good quality. The deck offers a view of the incredible sunsets and you can watch the dolphins in the gulf. The beach is huge and never crowded. We have been coming to this area for many years and have stayed in many homes. I would recommend this home to my friends and we would stay here again.

I wanted to write a review about my stay I had at the Cape. I absolutley loved the beach house. It was more than I could have imangined. The location was great to the beach. the parking was great. the house is a great size with all the adequate measure to have a wonderful stay. Thank you for everything! Our stay in this unit was great! We stayed Oct.10-14 2008 and did not want to leave. Sit on the deck and just watch and listen to the waves roll in. The condo is wonderful and very comfortable, with everything you need.The beach is great for shelling,fishing,swimming,and walking.We never left,except to go to Port St.Joe to get some fresh seafood for supper. Would love to stay here again.

Our stay from Aug 2-9, 2008 was absolutely fantastic. The home was immaculate and had every possible item you will need for your vacation. The home exceeded our expectations and we will certainly stay there again. The homeowners are very friendly and accommodating even going out of their way to assist. I highly recommend this rental home. The price is also extremely reasonable comparable to other rental homes on Cape San Blas - and we had a great Gulf View!

Our July visit was wonderful. Loved the bar height table and chairs with umbrella on the deck. What a great way to begin your mornings. Perfect view of the beach and water. Dolphins swimming by every morning. Steps to the beach. What more can you ask for?

If you stay here, you will love it! I stayed here earlier this Spring (2008) and had a blast. The house is clean, comfortable, and well stocked for any beach stay. It was a few short steps to one of Florida's most beautiful and relaxing beaches. Best value for the price for a comfy house on a quiet clean beach. I will definitely stay here again.
