This house was perfect for our family, the location was great, and we appreciated the open space to relax for a week. We put our three kids in the upstairs bedroom (we took the mattress from the trundle in the den), which is above the garage, and we slept in the downstairs bedroom, which has an attached bath and some privacy. My daughters took over the den with their toys and games, which left the rest of the house for us! The beach was fantastic and only a two minute walk away, and we appreciated the big backyard and the outdoor shower, since we always came back to the house covered in sand. Everything is within walking distance, and we only got in our car once to drive to Santa Barbara. The kitchen was well appointed. This was our first time to Carpinteria, and we will definitely come back for a visit!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We just returned from a 3 day getaway to Carp and this wonderful home! We have rented a few other times from vrbo this property is the best! This house is perfect! The home is updated and spotless! Beach Cottage style decor. Everything you need is in this home and it is in the perfect location. The home is just off Linden street which is charming. Everything you need is within walking distance. Food,grocery,rite aide. The beach is a block down the street! We have four small children. The fenced yard was great. There is a brand new park around the corner which was fun. The owner was pleasant and responded to my needs promptly. My family will be back next year for sure! We loved this vacation home!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My sisters and I stayed here for a sisters reunion....what a treat the house is very cute and comfortable.. Just a block from the beautiful beach and short walk to shops and restraunts.. the owners have gone out ot there way to make sure you need for nothing. I would stay here again if we go ever go back . This is a wonderful place to stay. It's clean, bright and well supplied. It's a close walk to the beach and anything else you might want. I never drove my car. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in this great little beach town. It was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. I will definitely be back.Did you find this review helpful?
