  By far the nicest apartment we have stayed in in Aix. It is clean, well equipped, and convenient to everything in the city. Highly recommended.

  This a beautiful, modern apartment, in an excellent location within walking distance to everything in this beautiful city. The apartment is beautifully furnished and maintained with an ultra-modern kitchen which is a Chef's dream (although there were too many great returants to cook in much) there is a good sized washer and separate dryer and two bathrooms. Donor hesitate to rent this apartment. You will thank me!

  The only real problem we had was in finding the condo. The address was not recognized by MapQuest or a GPS. The directions given by the owner were not very descriptive so we spent a lot of time being frustrated when we were already tired from the overnight flight. We would suggest that he tell people that the condo building actually opens onto a pedestrian walkway rather than a real street. Also, the people where we picked up the key were not helpful and were borderline rude. The owner was helpful when we had to call him. The listing photos were accurate and the condo was clean. The condo itself was great and we were very pleased with its location near the Cours Mirabeau and its proximity to the grocery store and cafes. We especially enjoyed the large balcony. We would recommend it and would stay there again if we returned to Provence in future travels.

  The apartment was perfect for us. We used the location to travel to various southern cities each day. We would have breakfast and sometimes lunch and then leave for places like St Remy, Avignon, Levendeaux, Cassis, Marseilles, Bandol and others which are in easy driving distance. The ambiance of the apartment is excellent with a balcony on which we had meals every day. The facilities needed no improvement with laundry machines, good a/c, fully equipped kitchen, tv and comfortable clean furniture. The Cafe la Darius next door provided an excellent choice for quick delicious meals with friendly service. The apartment was more than I thought it would be and recommend the apartment without hesitation. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

  The apartment was great. It had all of the amenities. The balcony was spacious and was our favorite place. The building was quiet and very well kept. The location was also perfect—supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, wine merchant, good restaurant and an ATM within 200 meters of the front door and just a 2 min. walk from the Cours Mirabeau. The only negative was the noise from outside. We had good weather and had all of the windows open. Most mornings at 6:00 we would hear street cleaners, trash trucks or delivery trucks for the supermarket. And many nights at 4:00 AM, we would hear noisy young people walking down the street. Despite the early morning outside noise, we would recommend the apartment and would rent it again.

Aix is a city and since our apartment is centrally located there is some street noise. However, since it is of new construction the developer had double glazed windows installed for both heat and sound protection. The apartment also has central air so we rarely leave the windows open at night. Thank you again for your review!

  Neither with family nor friends have I ever entered a residence where I immediately felt so at home. In fact, within days, I thought of it as "my home", so welcoming were the decor, the neighborhood, and the helpful passersby. The proximity of the Cours Mirabeau, the Tourist Bureau, Le Grand Theatre, the shops and the wonderful menus and camaraderie of the nearby restaurant completed my perfect vacation. The condo owners are accessible, helpful and kind. Everything you might need or want is provided, including modern fixtures and appliances and a spectacular and very large balcony. This genuinely is a home both to covet and to want to revisit again and again.!!

  We have rented many apartments in France but this one has spoiled us forever. Spacious, clean, great location, and all the amenities. It made us fall in love with Aix.

  Nice apartment with all of the modern conveniences, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. I enjoyed having meals on the balcony and watching the world go by on the bustling Allées Provençales. The apartment has tons of natural light, with blackout shutters for those who choose to sleep in! Initially, I was thinking of staying a bit outside the city itself, but I am extremely glad that I chose to stay right in the center of things: Very easy to shop for groceries, and to take in all of Aix (vieille ville, quartier mazarin, university area) on foot. The owner is very professional, honest, communicative and easy to do business with. Thank you, David! I hope to be back, and will definitely tell my friends about it.

  This is a wonderful condo situated in the heart of Aix with easy accessibility to the city's many attractions as well as shopping needs. We stayed in the condo for one month in late autumn and thoroughly enjoyed its spacious, well furnished and attractive layout as well as its tasteful artwork. The large terrace with its full-sized table and comfortable chairs was a welcome bonus feature which we used on a regular basis for dining and cocktails. The kitchen's appliances are of the highest quality and a joy to use. We ate in on a regular basis and found sharp knives, plentiful dishes ,glasses and cooking paraphenelia a gourmet's delight. The living room is tastefully furnished and spacious. The apartment has a light, airy feeling and is a joy to return to after a strenuous day of exploring Aix and the surrounding region. The central location of the apartment makes travelling around Provence an easy and enjoyable experience. I would rate this apartment at the top of our 10 year experience in renting VRBO properties. I would like to return to this apartment and recommend it to you without reservation.

  We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely appartment. The location is perfect for strolling around Aix and visting the many restaurants and coffee shops. Everything about the appartment was so comfortable and welcoming. The large terrace is an added bonus. We most certainly hope to return.
