We are very close to a Pristine Bamboo Forest Hike with refreshing River Pools to swim in. The BEST way to end your day after a hot beach or hiking adventure.
Beautiful Kealia Beach with Lifeguarded Swimming, Great for Surfing and Boogeyboarding and our new Bike/Walking Path that can take you to Wailua Beach and beyond while watching Whales pass by is a short 7 min drive down the street . Bikes are easily rentable all along the path. Other hiking trails and adventures are all around and easily accessible.
** Stand Up Paddle Instructions available by owner. We bring the boards to the beach for you and give you a lesson, then you get to paddle up a beautiful scenic river or try the ocean too.
Kapaa Town with Restaurants, Cafes, Boutique shopping, Farmers markets, and hopefully you'll be here for Artwalk Nite (1st Sat of every mth!) is just 4 miles away. Hanalei Bay and the wonderful Kalalau Na Pali Trail is about a 45 min. drive away. Waimea Canyon is also a 55 min drive. Lihue Airport is just 25 min.
The living area is cute and roomy with an eating bar, wood floors & ceiling fans.Total Square Footage is 500 sq ft. Full Bathtub & Shower and comfortably firm Queen bed. Propane BBQ, Dining Table & Chairs (seats 4) also in private garden outside.
Come and stay in your home away from home and savor the tropical breezes, flowers and beautiful ocean on our island sanctuary where you will re-energize and feel the wonderful Aloha spirit! You might also have fresh Mangos, Papayas & Avocados ready to pick in the morning.

We had a wonderful time at the Mana Falls Cottage. The Cottage was clean, comfortable and ideally spot to explore the entire island. Tony and Michelle, our hosts, were really kind. Tony was very helpful (gave us great tips) and my son was thrilled with the surf lessons Tony gave him. We enjoyed the stand-up paddling lessons too. We definitely recommend Mana Falls and its great owners Tony and Michelle … Thank you !Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We had a great time at the cottage, it was so cute! It's location is right in the middle of the island which made it easy no matter what area of the island we wanted to go to. The owner was very friendly and helpful with tips on restaurants and places to visit. We would definitely stay there again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Our stay in Kauai was our last stop of three islands on our first ever visit to Hawaii. Mana Falls Cottage was the ideal spot to wind down our vacation. Having the space & privacy is so much better than staying in a hotel or condo. It was a wonderful, peaceful & safe place. The cottage was clean & comfortable & we were happy to return here after our full days of exploring. There is so much to do on Kauai and Kappa is the perfect home base to venture the entire island. There are many great restaurants and beaches, hiking trails and sightseeing. We highly recommend this lovely spot as a very comfortable & great location for seeing Kauai.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This cottage was the perfect home base for my daughter and I, after a busy day exploring the island, we couldn't wait to get back to the cottage to relax, cook dinner, and reminise about our exciting adventures! Michelle and Tony always offered great advice, and we loved the homemade banana bread! I would highly recommend Mana Falls Cottage as a home base when visiting the beautiful island of Kauai!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Comfortable, clean place- up the hill about 10-15 min from Kapaa. Michelle, Tony and Mazy were so kind and accommodating- we had a great first week in Kauai. Make sure you get out and explore the entire island- especially the north shore- it's incredibly beautiful!! Manafalls was a great home base to explore the island- but do be ready to spend quite a bit of time on the road exploring the island!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We have been living in the Hawaiian islands for over 30 years. After living on Maui for 14 years, we searched and found our beautiful property on Kauai in 1998. The view of Makeleha Waterfalls was too gorgeous to walk away from, so we decided to build our 'DreamHome' here. Fast forward a few years later and we now have our own 'slice of paradise'. We just had to share this great place with our family and friends, so we also built a separate Cottage which we named 'Mana Falls'. The Hawaiian woman who actually named our street 'Ho`omaha Place' about 35 years ago, told me how she came upon that name. It means 'a place to Rejuvenate or Restore' and that is exactly how it feels to us and everyone who comes to visit. Just seeing the majestic mountains each morning gives me such peace and a sense of renewing my spirit. Meditation comes so easily here!! Hence the name 'Mana Falls' which you may know, is another word for Spirit. We would welcome the opportunity to share our little island paradise with you and hope you will have a wonderful, spirit-lifting vacation of your dreams.

We built our cottage in 2007 from the ground up and put all our love and energy into creating a restful, peaceful home away from home for our family & friends. The location is so central to all the wonderful scenic spots to enjoy on Kauai. The hubbub of Kapaa Town is a short 7 min. drive away, Hanalei Bay is only 45 mins, & Waimea Canyon is only 55 mins. away. And all along the drive north are spectacular lonely beaches that take your breath away. There's a reason Hollywood comes here to film! You won't be disappointed at what Kauai has to offer, even Disco Bowling if you're so inclined!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
Some of our great benefits to where we are is the proximity to gorgeous hiking trails. Our Makaleha Mountains (1/4 mi.away) are a dream for the experienced & fit hiker, where you will enjoy Kealia Stream with refreshing river pools to dip into after a hot day at the beach. For the less experienced there is Hoopii Falls just down the street. Sleeping Giant Mountain is a short drive away, also, and of course the Na Pali Trail to Kalalau is about 45 mins away. Many others close by,too which we can tell you about.
We are also a 7 min. drive to Kealia Beach, a beautiful, sandy crescent beach, (lifeguarded), which has picnic tables, bathroom & showers, all new.
And you can roast your marshmallows right on the beach at a bonfire. Where in the States can you do that anymore?
Lydgate Beach, also lifeguarded, is a wonderful snorkel protected rock pool where you'll feel you're in an aquarium, is 15 mins away. Our community built 2 fantastic playgrounds for children there, also.
