Leave the world behind and escape to our FIRST FLOOR (only ½ flight of stairs to climb!) 2 BR 2BA condo in the shadows of palmettos, magnolias and ancient moss-covered live oaks on the newly renovated Plantation Golf Course at Edisto Beach, SC.
Spend lazy days at our oceanfront cabana with convenient facilities or strolling stretches of unspoiled beaches teeming with wildlife. Enjoy miles of bike trails, rent a kayak or charter a boat trip. Only 45 MILES FROM DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON, this unspoiled Sea Island provides lots of year round outdoor activities--hunting, fishing, shrimping, crabbing, canoing, kayaking, hiking, shelling, birdwatching and programs and activities at the adjacent state park and wildlife refuges.
FEES FOR GOLF on our newly renovated golf course are the LOWEST IN THE CHARLESTON AREA.(see link for more information on Plantation Course below) Walk(<15 min.), drive(<5 min.) or take a tram to the beach. The resort offers golf, tennis, 3 pools (1 heated), playground, recreation program and other amenities for a small fee.(1 block away)(Individuals $7.50/day,$20/wk;families $84/wk.) Peaceful, quiet Edisto is off the beaten path, yet there are just enough restaurants, nightspots, museums, shops and art galleries to make it interesting.
This SHOWCASE CONDO in the Wyndham Resort was completely remodeled recently with hardwood floors, new furnishings and custom window treatments. Superior furnishings and décor led local agency to give it their top rating (DELUXE). The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, disposal, microwave, washer and dryer and complete sets of dishes, cookware and utensils. Cabinets are stocked with staples. The dining table seats 6 and the comfortable living room provides a 32 inch TV with extended cable, VCR and DVD and a lovely entertainment center stocked with books, DVDs and videotapes. A queen sized sofa sleeper with premium mattress, recliner, rocker and drawer space in the living room allows the unit to sleep 6. LINENS AND MOVEOUT HOUSECLEANING ARE PROVIDED. Large sliding glass doors open from the living room and master bedroom onto a covered porch equipped with a gas grill and comfortable seating. There are a comfortable king sized bed in the master bedroom and plush new twin beds in the guest room. Each bedroom has its own television and bathroom (1 tub, 1 shower) Central heat and air. Ceiling fans have been added to each room (not typical in Edisto condos) to make the most of the island breezes.

Why the Owner Chose Edisto Beach
We owned a home on Edisto from 1978-86 so we have been coming to Edisto for many years. We sold that and had a place on Isle of Palms for a while--too much traffic!! We decided to come back to Edisto for the peace and quiet and the natural beauty which is being protected by the large amount of land on the island which has been placed into a land trust prohibiting excessive development.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
We took out the carpet and replaced all of the upholstered furniture so there are less allergens. Fans were added to each room. We offer a grill and internet service (not standard in other units.)Our mattresses are comfortable. Most of the units in the building are not rented so often we have the whole building to ourselves.We provide many books, videotapes and DVDs for your enjoyment DURING your stay. (Unfortunately, a lot of those have disappeared.)
