Hi! We have been coming to Long Beach Island since the 1960s. Our parents bought a house in Harvey Cedars and three years ago we built a new, larger version in the same spot for our growing family to enjoy. My brother is a writer and I am a contractor. The house reflects our mutual desire for an efficient and beautiful place to live.
Why the Owner Chose Harvey Cedars
We have been enjoying Harvey Cedars for over 40 years and can't imagine life without the shore! Our children have known some of the best times here on the island. As our family has grown and gone off on separate adventures, it is here in Harvey Cedars where we can reconnect with family and friends.
The Unique Benefits of this House
When we come to Harvey Cedars, we can park our cars and walk or bike to everything we need. We love to take bike trips to Barnegat Light and climb the 217 steps to the top of the Lighthouse. A favorite restaurant is just two blocks away, as is the Long Beach Island staple, Neptune's (Nuny's) Market, for the morning newspaper and tasty lunches.
