The Outer Banks of North Carolina (OBX) is the most special place on Earth, in our opinion. And our many years of vacationing on the OBX has lead to this... the purchase of a second home to which we will eventually retire. That won’t happen for another fifteen to twenty years - and so - we hope to “share our dream” with you...as our rental guests.
With 2BR/2BA, these 1,400 square feet include spacious living areas and a large, child-railed and covered deck. Cathedral ceilings and penthouse views guarantee your privacy and pleasure. We care more about this waterfront condo than we could ever express, and we intend to make it the perfect vacation rental for your family and friends, too!
Our second home is your second home. That simple!
Enjoy it with us for years to come. We will maintain it in such a manner that all of your stays in the Outer Banks lead to wonderful and relaxing memories. LCD TV's are in all rooms, and movie channels and free high-speed internet round out the indoor amenities.

Pirate's Cove is a great place for boaters. Charter a trip with an offshore or inshore boat and bring home a prize catch, or at least a good fishing story. Stroll the marina docks when the boats come in and capture the excitement of marina-front living. The waterfront Condos and Villas are located in a private island community that is surrounded by the Roanoke Sound.
Walk across the beautifully manicured grounds and street to exercise at a state of the art fitness center or just enjoy a perfect swim. A children's playground, basketball and tennis courts will entertain the young and young at heart. Volleyball courts, fossil searches, horseshoe pits, and a putting green are just a few of the onsite activities available to guests vacationing at Pirate's Cove. This gated paradise also features an excellent on-site restaurant (Hurricane Mo's Restaurant and Raw Bar), a fully stocked ships’ store and a famous world-class marina.
The ocean sands are less than five minutes away, as is a wide variety of dock and boat fishing, kayaking, hang-gliding and windsurfing. Unbelievable memories await!

Joe, we had a great time and wouldn’t change a thing. You could very well have THE best views of any condo at Pirate’s Cove. What a great facility and location. It has my wife and I thinking that just maybe one day when the kids are done with college that we’d like to live in Pirate’s Cove. Thanks for sharing your place with us and we’ll make sure to reach out to you about a possible rental when we visit again, because we’d love to return to Manteo and BV936!

Hi Joe : Wow , what a nice place you have! It was one fun week my dad & I had. Everything went great without a hitch. Had a good time fishing & had many great meals. We did not use the washer/dryer or the dishwasher. My dad only used the stove to heat water for his tea.The fridge was used for milk & pop. We used the microwave to make popcorn. The rental unit was everything we wished for. The view is great & the amenities are superb. The location was ideal for us. We hope to return next year if your unit is available , we feel privileged to be the first renters. If you need us for references we will gladly attest our satisfaction with the rental. We had such a good time we are considering going to the outer banks maybe 2X a year instead of 1. Thanks for everything & much success for your family and your great property. The Nicholsons
