We welcome adults and families. Sorry, no pets, no smoking, and no student only rentals.
Low density building - only 84 condos. This allows more room on the beach and in the pools. Located between Windward Pointe and "The Sands", a non rental building, giving you more room on the beach.
You'll fall in love with this GULF FRONT condo decorated in warm earth tones. Lots of extra touches, tile flooring throughout, double crown molding throughout.
The tiled living area has a beautiful area rug and features comfy upscale furniture. Large screen TV and surround sound entertainment center with DVD player. Step onto the roomy private balcony from the den or master bedroom. POOLS at Pelican Pointe are exceptional. The HUGE BEACH SIDE OUTDOOR POOL is complimented by swaying palm trees surrounded by beautiful flowers...not to mention...it sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico! Large separate kiddie pool is fun for the little ones. The HEATED INDOOR POOL creates a soothing, relaxing atmosphere. HOT TUB, SAUNA & EXERCISE ROOM in the heated indoor pool area.
Work on your tennis game on the lighted TENNIS COURTS or enjoy a game of hoops on the basketball goal!

Orange Beach is family oriented, a wonderful place to take kids. 99% of my rentals are familes...mom, dad, grandparents, and kids.
Pelican Pointe has a strong condo association and the commons areas and building are immaculate.
Security is a priorty at Pelican Pointe. If you don't have a parking pass you do not enter the parking area. Everyone entering the parking area must stop at the Security Hut and provide a parking pass.
Shopping, groceries, attractions for the kids are all within 3-10 minutes from Pelican Pointe.

Owner's Map of Pelican Pointe
I have owned and managed my condo at 206 Romar Place for ten years. I bought 205 Pelican Pointe in May 2008. I had so many renters returning each year to Romar Place that I ran out of weeks before I ran out of renters - thus Pelican Pointe enters the picture. I LOVE managing both condos. I have become good friends with many of my renters. I'm a 'people person' and will do everything possible to make your trip the easiest you've ever planned.
We lived in Atlanta, Ga for twenty seven years before moving to Birmingham, AL in 1998. We visited friends in Orange Beach early in 1998 and immediately fell in love with the area. We bought 206 Romar Place in early 1998. Initially, Romar Place was managed by a rental company but I wanted a more personal,'hands on' approach so decided to manage the unit myself. I hit the ground running, had tremendous success, and things have never slowed down.
I have been married for 42 years (yes to the SAME wonderful man). We have two grown sons and six grandchildren. One son daug in law and five grandchildren are in Birmingham and one son daug in law and granddaughter are in Atlanta. I am caregiver for my mom who lives with us. I am mother to Bailey, the most wonderful golden retriever ever! With managing my two condos and taking care of my other duties, I rarely run out of things to do.

Great weather..nice ocean breeze - super kite flying weather. Your condo is lovely. We enjoyed our stay with our grandkids. Our favorite adventures were: U.S.S. Alabama in Mobile, Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, and Adventure Island. Favorite restaurants were Cosmos, Genos, Original Oyster House, and Lulus.

This was a fabulous place to visit and enjoy our last vacation with my parents together. My parents were the first to take their children to see the ocean/gulf, they did the same with their grandchildren, and now their great grandchildren. It was a bitter-sweet time that will give us wonderful memories to cherish when our Lord calls my father home later this year. (Pam's father died two weeks after their return home.) Thank you for giving us such a beautiful relaxing place to create wonderful memories. The best part of our trip was enjoying the entire family together and seeing the "SMILES."

We've stayed in this unit THREE times. It is great!!! I like the amenities, the conveniences, the layout, and working with Diann is great. You could never work with anyone more accommodating and nice. She gives you helpful hints in the information booklet she sends. A corner unit on the second floor makes such easy access. I am going back soon and taking FOUR generations. If you have a problems deciding between this unit or another...this one, in my book, wins hands down.

This is one fabulous condo! My friends & I have stayed in it 3 times over the past year, and we have it booked for 3 more times in the coming months. It is well maintained, beautifully decorated & has nice upgrades that you will not find in other rentals. I especially love the fact it is on the 2nd floor and you can pop out the door and hit the steps. If you have children, you can easily see them from the balcony while they are in the pool. Another convenience is the two full beds in the third bedroom. Very nice when you have a group of girl pals. If you happen to have concerns or questions, the owner is very responsive and can be reached easily by email or phone. Anyone who rents this condo will be very pleased and have a wonderful vacation experience.

This is our 4th year for this condo...it is always great, Thanks, Diann...We'll be back. Our favorite adventures were riding the HOBIE Cat off the beach where the dolphins swam around us. Finding sand dollars on the sand bar. Favorite places to eat - Cobalts and Calypsos.

205 Pelican Pointe felt like home way from home - complete with washer and dryer which comes in particularly handy when airlines charge for baggage and your beaching it every day. We totally enjoyed the spacious balcony with a second floor pool and gulf view (better than eye level + no one trekking through your "space" except seagulls!) TV's in every bedroom was a nice touch, and the beds were comfortable (an even more important touch.) Our friends in another condo thought the decor was "way better" than theirs, with crown molding, etc. It was GREAT!

We loved your condo! Great way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with our family. Thank you for making it so special. Favorite places to eat - Cosmos. Great drinks at The Hangout. Enjoyed going to The Wharf looking in all the shops and riding the ferris wheel. We played minature golf, and went to the beach everyday. Enjoyed watching the dolphins from the balcony. This is a wonderful beach with clear water and white sand.

I thought I had found heaven in Diann & Larry's Romar Place condo...then I discovered Pelican Pointe! This is the perfect condo for my girl trips and also wonderful for large family trips. We were extremely pleased with all the room this condo offers, and all the perks with new linens and bedding, and televisions in all the bedrooms.
