  Gustavo provided us with a wonderful place to stay in PR! We (including my wife, 4 yr old son, and MIL) stayed for a little over a week and were very happy with the accommodations. Surprisingly, we thought the place looked even nicer than the photos. We spent much time on the wonderful patio overlooking the garden. After a day at the beach (all easy to get to) I would find myself in the hammock, relaxing with a book in the shade with a wonderful breeze. The patio was also great for breakfast and dinner, and we managed to use his gas grill a couple of times (well equipped with grilling tools). Everybody in the community was friendly, including the neighbor and the people at the pool and front gate. For minor nitpicking, I missed having a dishwasher since we cooked a lot, but we knew there wasn't one. Also, watch out for the tricky half-step in the upstairs bathroom! Las Sirenas was easy to find and easy to get to from San Juan. The location was close to food shopping but far enough away from the main road. Everything was as described in the listing, and we would definitely stay there again.

  My husband and I rented this villa and had the time of our lives. It is awesome. It is not on the beach but the walk is short and we went to the beach every day. Also, the patio is wonderful! We ate dinner on it every day and danced at night! It is very clean and having a bathroom right off the patio was so convenient when we came back from the beach. The fact that it was a gated community made me feel safe. The people who live there are wonderful. I would like to thank Gus for helping us with the rental. He was very quick to respond to my emails and keep me informed. I would highly recommend this.

  My family and I had a great time. Las Sirenas is a very clean a very well kept house. It has everything we needed. It was very easy to rent, we signed the contract, sent check, everything was done according to what we spoke. Gustavo is a very caring person, he made sure that everything was according to our expectations. Thank you. We hope to go back to Puerto Rico soon. It is a wonderful and relaxing place.

  We spent the July 4th week here and found it just about perfect for our trip. The home and community were just as others described. More importantly, Gus and his parents were fantastically helpful. I found myself in immediate need of access to a fax machine nearby Luquillo. Gus got right onto his computer and within minutes found a store nearby that could help out. He was just great. I fully recommend the home, the community, the city and the area. Las Sirenas is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and a great location to explore Puerto Rico.

  My family of five stayed at this property during Christmas break. We had a great time. I initially had a concern about the sleeping accommodations, as we are a family of five, with older children. However that proved to be a non issue. The 2 bedrooms are large and easily accommodated my two daughters, and our son found it very comfortable on the sleeper couch in the living room. (All 3 could have easily stayed in the same room) With two bathrooms, the mornings went very smoothly. There is a wonderful patio with seating, which we often used at night and during the mornings. You have a choice of coffee makers to brew your coffee and sip on the patio in the mornings, which I personally really appreciated. Portable chairs, a cooler, flotation devises and a boogy board, and even an umbrella were made available to you to take to the beach. The kitchen is EXTREMELY well equipped-you can make just about anything your heart desires. The washer and dryer were a very nice bonus. (And thanks for leaving soap!). Grocery stores and pharmacy are just minutes away, and the beach is just about 1-1/ 2 blocks away. The location is very nicely located-the ferry which can take you to some beautiful islands-is just about 15 min away. The rain forest is even closer. On a cloudy day we traveled south (its an island so south and then easterly), exploring, and after having traveled through some very beautiful mountains, found sunshine and a very remote beach, which seemed to be used only by the locals. This too was just about a 30 min drive. I was told by someone that if it is cloudy in Puerto Rico, then just drive a few minutes and you will find some sun. This is truly the case. I prefer this location over San Juan, as you have the opportunity to see various terrain, and can have the night life of the city as well. (There is a very lively strip mall a few minutes north along the beach, which provides you with ample choices of dining opportunities) The people who own the property are extremely nice, considerate and importantly honest people. We had absolutely no problems. They left a diary near the TV, which previous visitors wrote in, as well as other useful information. We did not find this for a few days, but found it very useful, so look for this information. Without a doubt, we would return to this location and stay again, as it was an extremely comfortable house, with everything you would expect, but more importantly things you didnt

  The location of this property was perfect for my family vacation! It is close(a short drive or walk) to everything we wanted to do - El Yunque, Luquillo Kiosks, biobay, pretty beaches(calm & clear for swimming and snorkeling was off to the left & rough with waves for surfing off to the right), Fajardo ferry. There is also a grocery store nearby and restaurants with a wide price range from super cheap and casual to more upscale. The house was fully equiped with everything we needed - pots, pans, dishes, coffee maker, blender. For the beach there were beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler. The patio was perfect for relaxing and also had an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach. My youngest was impressed that there was cable TV and a DVD player :) It is located within a gated/guarded complex, very safe and peaceful, laidback atmosphere. The owner was quick to respond to any of our questions or needs, made reccommendations for local restaurants and provided all sorts of information, guide books, maps at the house for activities in the area. We loved it so much, we are already thinking about coming back next year too!

  This is a beautiful condo within walking distance of a kid friendly beach. It is also a couple minutes in the car to the kiosks and close to all the other amenities you might like. The house is well done with lots of extras left there by the owners, like DVD player, hammock, and beach toys. I would recommend it to anyone. We really enjoyed it. If I had one complaint, it would be the three week turn-around time on the deposit ... that's a bit slow.

  We came to Luquillo as a family vacation. Evidently, we just missed the rain of four days and the weather was gorgeous. We had a wonderful time—this is not only a great place to stay (Las Sirenas), but the town is situated close to adventures and exploring that are worth your time! Luquillo has a beautiful beach off the back gate as well as the public access down the way. One day the waves were big enough for the children to body surf. El Yunque to the falls is a nice trip- the water was cold, refreshing and a nice treat after the hike (especially with a baby on your back). I strongly recommend Culebra Island. It is truly one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen! When you come back at 5pm make sure you stand in the correct line to get on the ferry (buy a round trip ticket a day ahead of time), otherwise you may get stuck on the island (shucks!). We also did the Bioluminescent Bay tour with BioIsland Tours. This was an electric boat as opposed to the kayaks. Jeff & Charlie were the captain/co-captain; it has been a family operated business for 3 generations. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to hang out with. The 6pm tour is the best; you get to see the mangrove and the Bio Bay! We have had an amazing time in the area- Old San Juan too! This is a beautiful country with beautiful people and great food. Enjoy!

  As the planner of our family vacation I was nominated to find our accomadations. Am I ever glad I picked Las Sirenas! Very clean house with adequate furnishings, my husband, 2 teenage daughters and I loved it! The lanai is AWESOME! We spent a lot of time there. A bathroom outside is very convenient in this part of the world! Especially with 3 women! Nice gated community with friendly neighbors. House is centerally located to both beautiful beaches as well as Rain Forest, Fajardo, shopping and eateries. The owner was wonderful to work with. I would love to go back to this beautiful island!

  House exceeded our expectations, it was clean, well kept and well equipped. We are a family of 5 and we were very comfortable, outside patio a HUGE plus. Backyard was very big with palms, lime tree and lots of friendly lizards. The pool facity grounds were a bit dated, but suitable. Security was acceptable and neighbors friendly. We love Luquillo Balneario next door, but the beach in front of the complex was great for walking and beachcombing. Supermarkets and nice eateries nearby. My wife and I agree that this was one of the best family vacations so far. We loved Las Sirenas.
