  This place was absolutely what we where looking for, the kitchen is fully stalked with everything you can possibly need to cook your meals, beautifully decorated with tons of room, planning on returning and will recommend to family and friends. The owner was very nice and answered all my question!!

  We had a great time on our family vacation. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their private space if needed. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you need to prepare your meals. We loved the fact that it was close to the lake and not far from Dinkey Creek, our favorite place. The kids loved the play room, which gave them their private space. to play and watch movies. It was really warm when we were up there, so be prepared for no air conditioning, which is stated on the information sheet, but it cools nicely in the evening. I would recommend the cabin for a large family to vacation in.

  This is a well maintained home that is clean and is as lovely, or even better, than pictured. The upstairs beds are very comfortable. The downstairs twin beds are stiff, but are okay for kids. There is plenty of room for everyone in this home. The kitchen is well stocked. The only "extra" you may want to bring is your own chef's knife if you're particular about knives.There is an extensive DVD collection for adults and kids. We enjoyed the horseback riding at Shaver Stables and also drove up to Lake Harrington to hike to Rancheria Falls. It's a great short hike with a splendid view. Whether you want to fill your days with activities, or just hang out at the house and read on the balcony, there are plenty of options at Shaver Lake.

  Just got back from our two night stay at Shaver Lake. We had a group of ten including five young kids. There was more room than we needed and the game room was a big hit. The home is comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. The owner was so nice and even took a call while we were visiting to answer a question. Our family had fun playing in the lake, renting kayaks, jumping on the water trampoline and going horse riding. We would highly recommend this property!

  There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this cabin is! It is the perfect place for a family gathering. We went for my birthday, and all three of my sons, their girlfriends, and wives, grandchildren, and extended family enjoyed the beautiful layout of the home. The owner is not only easy to work with and very pleasant, she is truly dedicated to making your stay a wonderful experience. We are caterers, so naturally a lot of cooking took place, and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. I would suggest that anyone who rents this cabin definitely includes the linen rental. Other than the twin beds (two sets) in the downstairs bedrooms, the beds have memory toppers, making for a very restful night (combined with the clean smell of the mountains!!). The linen fee is well worth the cost. The downstairs twins are okay for kids, but not too comfortable for adults. The driveway is well equipped to handle a motorhome or a boat trailer, but parking for a large group could pose a problem if all the cabins are full. There is no place to park extra cars in a busy time. We had 5 cars and a motorhome, as everyone came from different areas. For activities on the lake, we definitely recommend the Marina in Camp Edison. They have a large inventory of water equipment at a fair price, and the people are very nice! As for dining, there is not too much to offer, however, Hungry Hut puts out a pretty good hamburger, and no one should miss the "sticky bread". Everyone in our group enjoyed the cabin, and its amenities, the watersports at the lake, and even horse back riding. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we plan on returning again!

  I took a group of high schoolers up for a winter retreat. We all had a blast. The cabin was nicer than the pictures led me to believe and the students loved the place. We had an air hockey tournament on their air hockey table, played video games, watched movies, and of course hit the surrounding areas to play in the snow. It's about 25 mins from China Peak and 15 mins from some good sledding spots. The beds were super comfortable and the bedrooms themselves were spacious and inviting. We had a blast and will definitely be renting out the place again next year! Cheryl, the owner, was easy to work with and very accomodating. Thanks!

  For our family, it was our 1st family cabin get-away. I/We were absolutely estatic that we choose this particular cabin. So much to do and plenty of room to do it. We had a total of 10 kids and they had a ball. The downstairs game room is to die for. We can not wait to go again. Once there is a good snow fall we will be taking full advantage of this cabin again. The owner was kind and and provided me all the guidance I needed for our 1st stay. Only 20 minutes away from China Peak and several Snow Parks located in the Hunington Lake are. Very clean and well taken care of. Thanks So Much! The Crowleys, The Muellers and The Barton's!!!!!!

  We just visited this cabin with our friends and fell in love! So clean & cozy! The view was amazing. Right outside the door we played in the snow hills. Beautifully decorated and modern.

  This cabin/house has all you need for a vacation in Shaver. It is spacious and cozy at the same time. We love to go out and explore all that Shaver has to offer but we found ourselves just wanting to relax in this place. The owner was easy to deal with and everything about this place was a wonderful. We will be back with grandma and the whole family next time.

  Our family really enjoyed our vacation at Shaver Lake. The lake was beautiful and lots of fun. This cabin is spacious with 6 bedrooms and 4 baths on three levels. The cabin is decorated beautifully and is exceptionally clean with many extras. The beds were very comfortable. We did not want to leave! Cheryl. the owner, is wonderful and makes sure everything is great for your stay.We will be back!
