Bear Paw Cabin is a wonderful mountain home located in the desirable Meyers community in South Lake Tahoe. An attractive floor plan boasts a large sunken great room with exposed beam ceilings attached to the kitchen and dining areas, while the bedrooms are together on the second level. Large brand new front and back decks offer secluded peacefulness and wildlife viewing from all sides. Front deck is very private and has ample room for rolling out the ping pong table for a game, and/or relaxing over a good book. Brand new deluxe 7 person private hot tub on back deck, for soothing relaxation. Ozone technology and energy efficiency with mineral technology for a truly invigorating and relaxing experience.
Minutes from Heavenly, Sierra and Kirkwood, this home is located just off Pioneer Trail in lovely Meyers. Shops and markets are about a one minute drive away. Lake Tahoe Golf Course is one mile away. The Lake with fabulous beaches, boat rental, spectacular views and lakeside restaurants is a 10 minute drive from Bear Paw Cabin.
This cabin boasts charming mountain decor, with modern touches. The gas log fire adds a cozy feel to the entire first floor level. The dining table has seating for ten, and the bar counter seats another two. The newly remodeled kitchen can comfortably cater for 12. The great room is kitted out with all your 'getaway' needs: 42" Flat Panel TV & additional 32" Flat screen upstairs (both with Cable including movie channels), 2 x DVD players, iPod docking station, Wii game console, WiFi, board games and books. The centerpiece of the great room is the Brunswick antique mint condition pool table, with adjoining bar counter.
The three bedrooms are decorated with comfort and restfulness in mind.

What an amazing and home-y cabin you have. We all had the greatest time and really got to enjoy each others company, just what we needed in this busy life we all lead. From the beginning of our stay on Christmas Eve 2011, we found the accomodations to be very comfortable and relalaxing. Along with the little extras found in the kitchen areas, we felt quite at home. The location of the cabin is perfect. Close enough to South Lake Tahoe for shopping and skiing, but far enough away from the crowds and city traffic. Our family really enjoyed this Christmas holiday even though we did not have any snow. We will definately recommend Bear Paw Cabin to other family members and friends.

Clare, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful Bear Paw Cabin. This was our first time in Tahoe and we had such a wonderful time. Your home is very comfortable and had everything you would need. The games were perfect too in the evenings after the kids got back from snowboarding. Hello Clare, We returned to Seattle Sunday after a wonderful 10 days with our children and grandchildren--five of those days at Bear Paw Cabin. We all felt fortunate to have found and selected Bear Paw Cabin from all the many many many homes we looked at on the internet. Your cabin answered all our basic needs from sleeping arrangements, bathrooms, kitchen equipment to both indoor and outdoor space for all eight of us. The extras of the hot tub and ping pong table and the ascetics of the house and location in the woods with reasonable privacy really topped things off beautifully. If we do this again next summer, we hope we can return to Bear Paw Cabin. Best regards, Susan

There was plenty of room, both indoors and out, the market near by was great and i'm not sure if you had anything to do with the weather, but that was perfect too. My family and I have stayed at Bear Claw Cabin twice now. We love to come back. The place is huge and immaculate. The location is peaceful yet minutes from amenities. We have been there in winter for skiing and Summer for lake fun. We brought friends the second time as there is loads of space. We especially love the cozy fire and hottub. Our kids really enjoyed the treehouse too.

We stayed in this cabin last weekend and I have to say we had the absolute best time. We got to see the first of the winter snows come down while we stayed toasty by the fire. The hot-tub was wonderful too - I can only imagine how great it would feel after a day of skiing - can't wait to come back. Thank you so much!
