Summer: Patio furnishings are high quality and comfortable on all decks. Downstairs covered deck has queen futon sleep couch and bistro table set. North deck has trellis gate entrance with bar height table/chairs. Carport bridge/deck has Char-grille BBQ chairs w/ottomans and table. Main deck is pictured w/umbrella and table.
Winter: Easy access, carport is built nearly 'on the road' due to steep dropoff of property.

- Wood Fireplace : Fireplace faces dining room table, not used in Summer. Has lots of colorful varied candles to light during dinner for ambiance.
- Wood Stove : Lopi brand, with brass/glass doors is used year round on cool evenings, located in the living area. Copious firewood is stored just outside exterior door to garden, near woodstove.

- Pet Friendly : Our home is 'pet friendly' for pets who are 'dog children' and well bahaved indoor trained. Placer County has a leash law, and due to bears/coyotes, we recommend using leash always.
- Not Suitable for Children : Many steep stairs, railings for decks and bridges with incredibly high drops mean that this house is not suitable for children under the age of 10. Infants are OK if not walking.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : Children must be at least 10 due to multiple stair cases and steep railings.
- Smoking Not Allowed : Strict non smoking includes not wanting smokers to rent and smoke outside, if you smoke, do not rent! Owner has asthma.

The Unique Benefits at this House
Watching the weather change and reflect in the lake, the sun shimmering, the daily 'pink and blue alpenglow', the near proximity to Tahoe National Forest and walking distance to the Lake. The ability to be in so many different spaces in the same house, a corner to read, TV and a brass/glass view into the woodstove at the same time. But most of all a grand spot to cook and dine in a beautiful 2-1/2 story high dining room with antler chandalier and candlelight. Ambiance is so inviting, it is always hard to leave this place! Contentment is here, and it is a great base for outdoor sports activities, location is central and easy access in winter.
This property has a private beach, access is at the lakeside path across from Lardin Way.
Walk or drive, parking is on right side of dirt road. Access to trails to Tahoe Rim, Northstar and a trail to Carnelian Bay Post Office or 'Dog Beach'.
Walk past Old County on Dinah or Forest and follow trail, intersecting well worn trails lead you to the Reservoir, very reflective, good for meditation, dog swim.
Loated between Garwoods' Restaurant and Marina... also East side of the Marina. THE BEST for dogs/picnics, little shade so early AM/PM is good.-*
