  This was our 2nd trip to the Keys and we looked hard to find a water access home that was close to the action and dining of Old Town yet had the RELAX factor. This is the place! Canal gives easy access to the either the Gulf or Atlantic. Fun Kayaking the neighborhood canals (owners let us borrow two, rentals close by) and directly behind the house is a natural aquarium with a large schools of several types of fish, several Parrot fish etc. Easy access to Key West by bicycle, car or taxi. House is at MM 5. Our two teenagers were comfortable with their own rooms, many activities and great swimming pool. Owners were super easy to deal with and gave great advice on dining and local activities. Highly recommend this house and hope to return someday

• FANTASTIC PLACE!!!!!!!

  First off, I will state that the perfect timing we had of leaving the day before Tropical Storm Issac came to town couldn't have worked better and I hope the place survived with not too much damage. That being said, this place is a fantastic place to stay and the owners are very very VERY accomodating. We arrived to the place and the pictures are spot on. The place is located perfectly to town and on a nice quiet channel. We met the neighbors across the street when they found a set of keys to a Toyota, that did not belong to us, but super nice people. The house is clean, the pool is wonderful, but it was a bit on the warm side with the hot tub being on, but one call and the owners got it shut off and made the pool wonderful for our visit. There is plenty of room to move around so you are not always on top of each other, the channel is good for getting out and into the action and is very quiet at night for those peaceful nights after a long day of diving and fishing. The house caretaker which I will withhold his name due for privacy was a phone call away and would offer tips on locations for fishing and diving and while the diving was not as productive as we would have liked for the lobsters, the fishing offshore for snapper was fantastic as we tore those up and had plenty to eat. All the amenties such as a fish cleaning station and water at the dock made cleanup easy and very convienient. We will definitely consider staying at that home again as it served our purpose well and allowed us to get to downtown Key West with ease, even with all the road construction. This was well worth the money spent to stay in the lower keys and gave us the ability to see and do so much. On behalf of all of us that stayed here, we thank you for lending us the use of your beautiful home and were always looking at the nice picture arrangements you had on the walls as we were constantly seeing something new. You look like wonderful people and maybe one day we can meet in person, because judging by the comments in the guest book, you are for sure OUR KIND OF PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!

  I have stayed at many VRBO listings in the last 8 years, from Key West to Destin. Pictures provided in this listing do not do the property justice! This is an absolutely beautiful property with many amenities. I was very impressed when I arrived at the fully stocked kitchen. Anything I needed was there for my use. The dock was perfect for our boat. We enjoyed many mornings watching the many fish swimming right there by the dock. The neighbors were wonderful and even checked in on us providing great hints and tips about fishing in the nearby hot spots. The owners provided great support for us before our arrival. The HOUSE WAS IMMACULATELY CLEAN!! We love Key West and hope to return and stay in this home again!
