Welcome to this beautiful two-story Key West, canal front home. You will enjoy 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a large living room, kitchen and a full-length porch with outdoor seating and grilling. There is also an office with a futon and a full bath and laundry area. Walk out to a lushly tropical pool and whirlpool. Enjoy the quiet privacy of the pool area.
The newly decorated master bedroom has a queen pillow top bed and a private bath. The two additional newly decorated bedrooms have pillow top king mattresses and share a bathroom that is just across the hall. Sit on the large porch and enjoy the beautiful canal view. You have your own aquarium just outside your door.
This property includes all the amenities of your own home. You have a fully functional kitchen with all the cooking utensils and dishes. Linens, cable, high speed internet, washer/dryer, air conditioning and propane grill are also provided.
You will be in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a canal. If you follow the canal around you will have easy access to the Gulf and the Atlantic Ocean. It is half a mile to the public boat ramp and there is a place to store your trailers and off street parking at the house. This is a great spot for boating, fishing, biking, walking or just relaxing.
It is only about a mile to the golf course and grocery shopping. The airport is 7 minutes away, making this a very convenient spot. The center of town, Duval Street is a mere five miles away, why not stop in for a "Duval Crawl".
Historic Key West is great for sightseeing, museums, nightlife, theaters, restaurants and shopping. There is a lot to see and do and there is something for everyone!
Casual attire is all that is needed in Key West. Bring your shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops for a very relaxing vacation in the southernmost city, Key West.
We do not accept guests under 25 years of age unless accompanied by a family and there will be no smoking allowed.

Why the Owner Chose Stock Island
When looking to buy our retirement home we knew we didn't want to live right in town because it was too busy, yet we didn't want to be out of Key West. We were looking for a home with dock space and deep water access and also a private pool. When we found Key Haven there was no doubt in our minds that it would be a perfect location for what we were looking for. We found our home while cruising the canals of Key Haven and the rest is history.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The most important thing is privacy, privacy, privacy. We have great neighbors, it is a safe and quiet neighborhood. Living on the water was our dream and buying this home has made that dream come true. The pool area was very open when we bought our home but we soon realized we needed more privacy, hence the natural growth inside the wall that surrounds the property. The large porch area is great for reading on a rainy day, morning coffee and nightly cocktails. This is a great spot for romantic dinners.

We have been going to Key West for at least 20 years. My wife and I decided to buy our retirement home in 2004 so we would have an opportunity to use it while we are still young enough to enjoy everything Key West has to offer. We love the boating, fishing, diving and of course the night life. If you love music Key West is the place! Being a long time dog owner, one of the first things we did is to wall the property so they couldn't get out, which also gave us a lot of privacy.

I have stayed at many VRBO listings in the last 8 years, from Key West to Destin. Pictures provided in this listing do not do the property justice! This is an absolutely beautiful property with many amenities. I was very impressed when I arrived at the fully stocked kitchen. Anything I needed was there for my use. The dock was perfect for our boat. We enjoyed many mornings watching the many fish swimming right there by the dock. The neighbors were wonderful and even checked in on us providing great hints and tips about fishing in the nearby hot spots. The owners provided great support for us before our arrival. The HOUSE WAS IMMACULATELY CLEAN!! We love Key West and hope to return and stay in this home again!
