Our vacation property is a boaters and beach combers paradise. We offer a near by boat access/ launch site for your boat . The protected inner Malletts bay is ideal for water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, and kayaking. Our deck with barbeque and satellite stereo faces the west overlooking the bay and its many marinas. Several photographers frequent our property to take our magnificent sunsets. The stairs from the deck lead to a semi-private sandy beach. The property is equipped with a two bedrooms, one bath (with shower only), air conditioning, satellite TV, satellite stereo, fully equipped kitchen, and open dining/living room. Several parks, snack bars, and the Burlington bike path are easily accessible. Burlington, with fine dining and shopping, is only 10 minutes away.

Wow the most amazing sunsets are enjoyable from inside the cottage, the deck or the beach! Sandy beach is not crowded at all / semi private and is a good swimming beach for all ages! Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere! The bay provides for excellent boating as it is sheltered compared to the broad lake and there are three other beaches as well as diving / jumping cliffs ( from like 5ft to 50ft ) near by :) ! The cottage is super close to everything. When we wanted a break from the beach we found the area had much to offer. A park is just down the street and very well equipped with everything from swings to a skate board park ( kids loved it ). Down town Burlington is just a few minutes drive and is worth the visit. The camp was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The owners, Tim and Cyndee, were a pleasure to deal with. We are looking forward to visiting again this year!Did you find this review helpful? My husband and I were looking forward to spending a relaxing, fun filled week, celebrating our 3yr Wedding anniversary at Tim and Cynthia Trahan's rental on Mallots bay. Unfortunately before we had a chance to, the area of Lake Champlain, flooded. Their home was still safe and dry with no problems but we were not sure if the area would still be able to offer all the vacation touristy stuff we were looking forward to, since many roads, stores and buisness's were closed and damaged. Our rental contract stated that they do not give refunds on deposits. This worried my husband and I greatly. Time to book elsewhere was growing short and loss of our deposit meant we would have difficulty affording another place. I contacted Tim, not only did he understand and sympathize with us he did agree to refund us our deposit considering the difficult circumstances. He was very friendly, curtious and even mentioned that he would love us to visit again at another time. I have heard bad stories of rental owners who under no circumstance refunds the deposit and are extremely rude. This was not the case in any way, in fact just the opposite ! Because of the owners kindness and quick response to us we will, without a doubt, be visiting their perfect little getaway on the lake in the very near future. Thanks again Tim & Cynthia :))Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: My wife Cyndee and our daughter Adeline (7 yrs) and son Julian (3 yrs) enjoy our little cottage on the bay very much. It has the most incredible sunsets. Sitting on the deck and watching the activities in the bay is one of our favorite things to do. We try not to rent out the cottage too much so if you want to book it do it as soon as possible.
