My 3 friends and I stayed for a mountain getaway last weekend. We had a great time and loved the house. The open floor plan for the kitchen, dining room and living room made it easy for conversing while cooking, eating and sitting by the cozy fire. We also appreciated the quiet neighborhood as well as the closeness to RMNP and downtown Estes.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This was a great house to stay at. Everything was as described. The house was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable and had nice linens and blankets. The downstairs was like having your own apartment. Washer and dryer was handy. The kitchen was large with an eat at island. There was a walking path across the street. The golf course across the street was a good place to watch the elk. Elk and deer were in the yard every day. Close to downtown. Had a great time. Would highly recommend this house. Kim was very quick to respond with any questions.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

Everything described about this beautiful property was exactly as we found it. The photos do not do it justice. From the moment we walked in, my whole family was thrilled and kept telling me "good job, Mom!" We found the home exactly as others described it: very clean and completely stocked with everything you might want. All correspondence with the owner, Kim, was handled promptly and she made sure our stay was a pleasant one. We don't get the opportunity to do a trip like this with our whole family; it will be a special memory. Our 3 sons, 2 wives, 1 girlfriend from Germany, and 2 grandsons ALL loved this house. We had plenty of bedrooms and space and didn't feel like we were all over each other. We hope we can do it again, and if so, will definitely stay here again. In the meantime, we will highly recommend this home to other families visiting Estes Park. Thank you, again, Kim. It really was perfect!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

We had a great time here. It was just like they described in the listing. Very clean and nice open kitchen/dinging/living room. We took both sets of our parents with us and had a great time hanging out together. I would recommend this place to everyone. I will try to come back next year. We were able to see lots of elk all around the house mainly early morning. I think we probably saw at least 30 elk and deer in the neighborhood each day. It is also close to town and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Thanks for letting us use your home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

We met family in Estes Park for a three-day vacation and enjoyed this comfortable home. We were five adults and a baby and really enjoyed the space especially the living/kitchen/dining area on the upper level. The dining room table is fantastic for family meals and we all utilized the outside deck. The grill is small, but was adequate for our group and we enjoyed having that option. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes & cookware. The location was close to downtown and Lake Estes and a great walking path which we utilized. It was a quiet neighborhood, the beds comfortable with plenty of hot water for showers, etc. We appreciated having a small cache of oil, spices, paper towels, laundry soap, etc. The owner was very responsive to e-mail and there is a book with contact information if you needed anything during your stay. All in all it was very comfortable and a great option for a multi-generation gathering.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

With our family coming from four different states to attend a wedding, it was wonderful to stay together in a spacious and well kept home. Everyone found the home comfortable, clean, and well stocked with the items we needed during our stay. We attended a beautiful wedding at Chapel on the Rock, and the reception at the Estes Park Conference Center was just down the road from where we stayed. We enjoyed the shops, Rocky Mountain National Park and seeing the elk stroll through town. This was our family's second gathering at a vacation rental home (the first being in FL), and was another great pick and wonderful experience! The owner was quick to respond to us and very pleasant to communicate with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

We stay here with two famlies of 4 - We really enjoyed the home and the downstairs space was nice for the teens .. There was enough room for all of us and it was easy to get to and not to far from town. In the descriptions we read it said it was within walking distance of town and that was one big reason we chose the house. It is NOT within walking distance - especially with young kids - it is 1.5 to 2.0 miles at least . House was nice - we did have a good time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Our family of seven adults and one child stayed here for a week to visit RMNP and the surrounding area. This house had everything we needed. Like one reviewer said just bring your clothes and food. The house was very clean and an easy drive or walk to town. We enjoyed sitting outside and viewing the wildlife. We even got to see a huge elk at the end of the road one afternoon. We would love to stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

Our group stayed in this fantastic vacation rental in June 2011. The house was very clean and well stocked. You don't need to bring anything except your luggage and grocercies. The downstairs area is almost like separate quarters with it's own kitchenette, living area and bedroom. The owners of the property are quick to respond to any questions. Also, the rates were less than other 4 bedroom houses in the area. If I ever get back to Estes Park I would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
