One need never leave to enjoy constantly changing panoramas, the setting sun providing yet another spectacular light show as its reflection intermingles with the red lights of the opened gates on the Safe Harbor Dam 4 miles downriver. And when one thinks it can't get any better, the moon rises to perform its dance over the waters.
Central to Lancaster's Amish Country, Hershey's Park and Chocolate Factory, Hollywood Casino, Harrisburg's government and state museums, Gettysburg's battlefields and nearby Catoctin Mountain Game Preserve, Baltimore's Zoo and Inner Harbor, and York's own Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Plant, one can go day-tripping in a different direction each day. What an amazing view! What an amazing lake and what an amazing weekend we had!!! We had a small family reunion and although we weren't expecting much (since we've never been here before) we will definitely be coming back again and again. The house is well-equipped.... We loved the decor and my daughter commented that it felt like we were staying on a house-boat. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your vacation home. We will surely be back soon.

We had a wonderful visit. We kept thinking we were on a cruise with an outside cabin and deck. The water view gave us the illusion of cruising. Our family enjoyed the beautiful Susquehanna with our Sunday dinners. Thank you for everything and we will see you next October. God Bless.

What a perfect place and a perfect weekend! Bridge Fest, boating, kayaking, swimming. Not too many Octobers is the water swim-able at 72-74 degrees! The view was perfect for the elders who just wanted to sit and watch all the activity come and go. Perfect. Perfect. PERFECT! Bless you for creating this fond escape.
