Take a step back in time and enjoy our unique 1918 "Dolphin House" which has evolved over the years from a 600 sq. ft. cottage with an outdoor bathroom to a newly renovated 1700 sq. ft. TROPICAL GET-A-WAY.
Relax on our courtside patio with Tiki fountain or the large upstairs deck with a Tiki Bar. You can BBQ on the large natural gas BBQ ;located on a deck just off the fully equipped kitchen.
You are only 4 houses from Mission Bay where you can view "Sea World's" summer fireworks shows and just 10 houses to the Pacific Ocean for some surf, sand and fun. All beach equippment is available: umbrellas, chairs, coolers, boogie boards, towels, transport wagon, and beach toys for the little ones. There are 2 parking spots with additional parking available with in walking distance at Santa Clara Point.
Our "Dolphin House" has given our family many years of enjoyment, may it be a positive experience for your family and friends as well.
We like to check in all guests ourselves, give them the tour, answer any questions and present all younger children with a starter shell collection and bucket.
DETAILED INFORMATION
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: 4 bedrooms
1. Front bedroom has a pyraimid bed (full lower and Twin
upper).
2. Middle bedroom has a queen.
3. Large Master has a queen and a full size sofa.
4. Upstairs bedroom has a bunkbed (full upper and lower)
plus a twin bed.
BATHS: 2 full bathrooms
1. Master bathroom with outside access has a 150 gal
walk-in tub/shower. This is perfect for bubble baths for the
little ones.
2. Bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Both bathroom showers have glass tiles with "Christian
Lassen" tropical inlays.
DECKS/PATIO: 3 decks
1. Front patio located at courtside includes a 4 chair patio
set and a 2 chair balcony set on redwood deck. This
patio area also includes large Tikis, tiki torches, fountain,
and tropical garden.
2. Large upstairs deck includes 4 chair patio set, bench, 4
chairs, bench, and Tiki Bar. This area also includes
large tikis and tropical setting.
3. BBQ deck locaated just off kitchen has a large natural
gas BBQ and prep. table.

We have been vacationing in Mission Beach for the past 9 years, bouncing from property to property. This last summer after meeting you and your wife and getting our tour, we knew we had hit the jackpot. The tropical theme through out the house and garden created a very relaxing paradise. We especially enjoyed the Sea World fireworks. Your Dolphin House was just perfect for our two families and when we left we took with us meny special memoriew of our fun filled holiday. You can expect to see us next summer and we hope menyu more to come. Our family of six were extremely comfortable here! Thank you so much, Mike and family for the wonderful sand pails personalized with the kids' names! That was such a nice surprise! We found the house to match your descriptions perfectly! We enjoyed the new grill and dining at the Tiki bar! We lit the tiki torches almost every night! We absolutely loved our stay at the Dolphin House. The owner met us and gave us a tour when we arrived. It is truly a home and not a condo. We loved the upstairs bedroom for the teenagers, with its own private patio. The front patio is completely enclosed by landscaping, offering a private outdoor eating and resting area with a water fountain. After our wonderful week we turned around and booked for the next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.
