This 3600 SF mountain view home has all the amenities of fine living. From the soaring ceiling, hand hewn logs, granite counters and alder woodwork, with hardwood and slate flooring throughout, this home will provide views "to die for". The master and guest bedrooms have queen beds, private bathrooms and HD TVs. The upstairs has two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other has a bunkbed with a double on the bottom and an additional twin in the room). The theater has a queen "Murphey bed" with it's own bathroom. There is now also a baby crib in the guest bedroom downstairs.
Entertaining family and friends will be an ease with a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, fireplaces in greatroom and Master bedroom, balconied loft w/ pool table,foosball, and a premier theater room with leather recliners for 12, featuring a 110" HD screen, Blue Ray DVD, and THX surround sound stereo system throughout. We have added a 6-7 person hot tub on the deck, and new larger HD TV's in the MB and guest BR. Hiking is all around!
Ski at Wolf Creek (most recorded snowfall in CO), or trout fish across the street in the San Juan River! You will never need to leave this resort quality home.

Our family consists of seven children. My closest brother and his family have been meeting together in Pagosa Springs for over twelve years. We are now able to sometimes meet two times a year. We always look forward to this time together!

This house is unbelievable. Very comfortable with fully equipped kitchen, hot tub and movie theatre with surround sound and stadium seating, complete with a popcorn machine! We skied all day, enjoyed the hot tub, cooked a gourmet dinner and then watched a movie at night. Can't wait to go back! Wolf Creek ski resort is affordable and unpretentious with some serious skiing and riding. New favorite CO ski area.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children.

This home is exactly as it is described in the listing. We comfortably had our family of 6 stay for eight days. The owner is easy to communicate with and responsive to requests. The home is very well maintained, and decorated like a full time home (rather than having vacation home "seconds" that we often find when traveling). We would recommend 4-wheel drive for the winter months in order to access the garage. This beautiful, cozy home is located a mere 15 minutes from Wolf Creek for skiing. We highly recommend this listing for other families to enjoy.

perfect home for a large family vacation and the area is much more laid back than Durango. We had 9 of us and made big dinners every night after skiing at wolf creek. We watched movies over the fireplace in the great room. The hot tub was excellent and looks out over the valley. A nice upscale neighborhood and the permanent resident neighbors invited us over to sled in their yard after a 2 foot dump during the night. It snowed every day we were there so we only caught glimpses of the views (which was ok for us skiing!). Overall just a great stay great house, we are already looking into buying up in the area! Thank You!

My family and I stayed this past winter. I just realized I never posted a review, but feel like people should know what a beautiful home this is. Super nice, super comfortable with lots of privacy for large groups! The owners are professional and really take pride in this home. It was quite clear to us that they truly want everyone to have a great time while visiting their home away from home. We had record snow during our stay, and they went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. Hope they will let us stay again!

My wife and family just stayed at this gorgeous log home the first two weeks of June 2010. We generally stay at 4-5 star hotels and found this home of a similiar high standard. It is impeccibly furnished throughout and in beautiful condition. All amenities are available. The owner was very gracious and responsive. The indoor theater is wonderful. WE LOVED OUR STAY.

The Livingstons expressed their love for this home in two ways; first, they said it was probably the nicest home they had ever rented, and second they are trying to buy a lot so they can have the builder (TLC Builders) build the same home for them (Whisper Creek Log Homes). There are multiple comments (similar) in our guest register at our home.
