Also a beach in town with lifeguards, boat,umbrella rentals, and snack bar..a childs delight!

Why the Owner Chose Guerneville
I choose Guerneville for it small town friendly and accepting townspeople and it's extraordinary
unspolied beauty. Proximity to the beaches of the Pacific, the wine country, the amazing redwood forest that encircles the River Valley. Superb Somoma Co. grown foods and farms and restaurants.
And for the extreme relaxing comfort that comes over one when living on the Russian River.
The Unique Benefits at this Estate Home
The view down the great lawn to the river is often includes the Russian Rivers extraordinary bird life..a Blue Heron, a gaggle of ducks, a diving hawk.
We like to walk in summer to the vintage restored Pee Wee golf course and arcade, or to town in early morning to Pat's Diner for the homemade donuts.
The taco truck in town has fantastic fresh food the kids love. As well as the 50's style snack bar at Johnsnon's beach...root beer floats and beer for the grownups!
And then there is the problem on never actually wanting to leave the grounds of the house as the
gardens, private beach, and ammenties are so satisfying and private that the rest of the world melts away.

Just a couple blocks down the road from the retreat is the access to the summer bridge and damn. Beautiful damn with waterfall for frolicking, swimming, or access to River Road.

I spend summers as a child on the Russian River with my faimly and have returned every summmer since.
I discovered the Russian River Reteat in 2005, the last orignal estate retreat in Guerneville and I decided to keep the oringal architecture and gut all the buildings on the property to the exterior and build all new luxury homes in this amazing mature park setting on the banks of the Russian River.
