Accommodations:  Twin Town Home, 3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths (Sleeps 2-9)

Cozy New England style 2 Bedroom or spacious 3 Bedroom, plus family room (Lock Out Configuration) - Comfortably accommodates 2 to 9 people. Completly remodeled Summer of 2008. Lake City is a lovely 'seaside-like town' on Minnesota's South Shore of Lake Pepin.

Be sure to ask about our mid-week rental packages. Big savings if you rent Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday nights. Still two nights minimum, however. We're also extending our season and the home is available through the end of the year. Take 20% off our already reasonalbe rates for November and December rentals.

Greatroom life style living with lots of space for entertaining. Living room/dinning room & comfortable kitchen (w/center island and bar stools) all together w/37" HDTV entertainment center & fireplace. Leather sofa, plus an oversized cozy chair-and-a-half with ottoman and much more. Each upper bedroom and the living room features vaulted beamed ceiling w/ceiling fans. The dining room & kitchen are beamed and vaulted as well. Jetted tub in upstairs bathroom.
Spectacular views of Lake Pepin and the River's bluffs from almost every room. Large deck [8' x 22'] that's perfect for vacation entertaining while enjoying the fantastic views.

You Have Two Options:

1. Option One - (Sleeps up to 9) - Upper & Ground level - 1500 Sq. Ft.

Three bedrooms & two bathrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms are large and have a queen size bed w/Euro-top matresses and the spacious closets are cedar lined. The third bedroom on the ground level features a bunk bed with a double lower and the upper is a twin. The upper bath features a jetted tub and is tiled throughout. The ground level bath is a three-quarters. The kitchen is fully stocked and features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Dining table seats 6 and center island w/stools seats 4.

The ground level also features a family room with game table & cable TV, queen hide-a-bed.

2. Option Two - (Sleeps 2 to 4)- Upper Level, 1,000 Sq. Ft.

Two large bedrooms & two bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size bed w/Euro-top matresses and the spacious closets are cedar lined. Upper bath features a jetted tub and is tiled throughout. Fully stocked kitchen, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Dining table seats 6 and center island w/stools seats 4.

This home is the perfect place for "family reunions," "girl-friends get-a-ways," "two or even three family housing," and many other occasions. Lots of open space, yet privacy for those who choose to go to bed early or sleep-in.

  • Six friends looking for a mid-week (Tues-Thurs) getaway to start the summer were wondering where to go. We never imagined we would find these lovely surroundings at such a terrific value. The marvelous accommodations allowed everyone to have their 'own space', sometimes upstairs, sometimes down, but plenty of room to roam and for sleeping. We left feeling rested, restored and peaceful. Not only is it a beautiful setting but such a great value we were able to do some shopping in your quaint city. And, it is so close to home we didn't spend half our time on the road. We will recommend it to our friends and we hope to return, also.

  • We rented this vacation home over Labor Day weekend this year for our out of town family. There was a total of 9 guests and all sleep comfortably. John and Sharon were so easy to work with. They returned our phones calls very quickly which made the whole reservation process a breeze.

  • Four friends stayed at the Coastal Charm this past week for three days. It was delightful. The decor is tasteful, furnishing are great quality, kitchen is well furnished. The area offers many things to do and see. We ate at wonderful restaurants. John and Sharon are kind hosts. We would highly reccomend this location for a great get away!

  • Although a few weeks have passed since our stay it is still fresh in our minds. I am a long-timre resident of the Lake City area and over the past summer months had family coming to town for a reunion. I reserched virtually every presentable vacation rental in the area and decided to go with this one. The accomodations, hospitality, cleanliness, and overall experience was second to none! I am familiar with the area, and would recommend this charming "condo" to anyone visiting!!! Truly the best vacation rental around!
