The dining room & kitchen are beamed and vaulted as well. Jetted tub in upstairs bathroom.

Option #1 - (Sleeps up to 9) - Upper & Ground level - 1500 Sq. Ft.
Three bedrooms (plus family room) & two bathrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms are large and have a queen size bed w/Euro-top mattress and the spacious closets are cedar lined. The third bedroom on the ground level features a bunk bed with a double lower and the upper is a twin. The upper bath features a jetted tub and is tiled throughout. The ground level bath is a three-quarters. The kitchen is fully stocked and features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Dining table seats 6 and center island w/stools seats 4.
The ground level also features a family room with game table & cable TV, queen hide-a-bed.
Option #2 - (Sleeps 2 to 4)- Upper Level, 1,000 Sq. Ft.

Why the Owner Chose Lake City
Minnesota is known for all its beautiful lakes, but a lot of people don't know much about Lake Pepin and how beautiful this area really is. Lake Pepin is the largest lake along the Mississippi River (there are over 100) and offers unparalleled recreational opportunities. Because of its size (22 miles long and nearly 3 miles wide) and steady winds, the Lake is considered to be one of the best sailing lakes in North America. Lake City, over the years, has developed the best and largest marina (625 slips) on the Mississippi River. Lake Pepin is home to more than 65 varieties of fish.
The area offers a broad and varied choice of eateries. There are innumerable things to do, places to visit and attractions to take-in within a 30 minute radius. Its proximity to the Twin Cities and Rochester is unique as they provide a steady stream of visitors. The area also enjoys many visitors from our neighboring states, as well as, from all over the U.S.
Many people refer to the area as MINNESOTA'S SOUTH SHORE.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
The unique features of this home are its size and flexibility. It is very comfortable and cozy for just two (2) or can comfortably accommodate nine (9). The panoramic view of Lake Pepin and the majestic sight of Maiden Rock across the Lake in Wisconsin is quite remarkable. The deck is large and overlooks the Lake and the Park and all their activities; the barges, the paddleboat, the sailboats, the cruisers, the runabouts, the fishing boats, the RiverLake walkers, the classic cars, the motorcycles and all the nice people of Lake City.
The nice thing about Lake City is that everything is quite close and even the locals love to walk.

John grew up in nearby Rochester, just 35 miles to the southwest of Lake City, and vacationed here as a young boy with his family back in the 50s. His fond memories are etched forever with all the fun and beautiful times he experienced in Lake City and on Lake Pepin. He's grateful to have the opportunity to experience it all over again as he and his wife, Sharon, have purchased Lake City properties and remodeled and decorated them in their vision of what constitutes the perfect vacation rental.
Sharon grew up in Cleveland, OH, and she too has fond memories of being near the water (Lake Erie) as a child and then spent her middle years and early adult life in Florida (Orlando) enjoying Florida's two coasts. After she moved to Minnesota in the mid 70s and was introduced to Lake City/Lake Pepin, she knew immediately that this area was a unique and very special place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lake City. We were there for a girls get-away weekend. The owners of this property have thought of every detail, including providing information about the surrounding area. The property was very clean, very nicely decorated, and provided ample space for us to watch movies, cook, and just hang out. Sharon greeted us when we arrived and walked us through the property. It's a great location to explore the surrounding areas. It also provides a great view of the lake located across the street. The only downside is that it is located on a busy road, so you do get some road noise in the house.

Thank you John and Sharon for such a wonderful vacation in Lake City!! We had the BEST time at your vacation home!! Not only was ever amenity taken care of, your hospitality and care to detail really made our first experience with VRBO fantastic! My husband, two small children and I stayed at this house with my parents. Though there were six of us, we never felt cramped (with the 3 bedroom option). The kids just loved the bunk bed and extra living room! The great room with kitchen, dining and living was so up-to-date and open. We were able to host a few different nights, with our family we were visiting, and every one was in awe at the beauty of this place! The kitchen and barbeque made meals a breeze.Every necessary item was available- all we had to bring was the food! !There were even margarita cups and plasticware for eating outside!) One of our favorite activities was going on the motor boat ride on Lake Pepin, with John and Sharon. We also loved that we could walk to the lake and the downtown area, great location You two are such wonderful hosts, we considered you an extension of the family we were visiting! Whenever we get to return to Lake City, you are our #1 choice!! Thank you again! The Nikula's and the Daluddung's :)

We traveled from AZ to spend time with our two granddaughters who live in Belle Plaine, MN. We had searched many properties in the Mpls. & Rochester area, on line, before choosing this one. We stayed at this unbelieveably beautiful townhouse for 8 nights. Every detail has been considered in making this one of the most comfortable and enjoyable vacations we've ever had. We are very impressed with details like the lavender scented sheets, super comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and stunning decor. Everything was first class and totally immaculate. We and the girls felt so comfortable and at home. Sharon & John are the perfect hosts, warm, friendly, interested and sincere. Family and friends came for afternoon visits and were stunned by the beauty of the townhouse, awesome lake views from most rooms, and the Lake City area We visited Wabasha, the Eagle Ctr., Lark Toys, the overlook in Alma, Nelson's cheese factory. Also enjoyed the parks in Lake City, picnicing, swimming, and beaches. Thought we'd head into LaCrosse and LaCresent, but were having so much fun we didn't do that this trip. So many friends from Cannon Falls, MN said they'd forgotten how beautiful Lake City is and they plan on staying at this property in the future!! I spent a week here with my family attending a reunion in town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous home. The decor is a relaxing beach/coastal theme. The furniture & beds were all very comfortable. We hosted a couple of meals for the reunion gang at this house using the spacious back yard for a BBQ and also serving breakfasts in the open dining room. The air conditioning was a god-send during our week of humid high temps. Lake Pepin and Lake City are wonderful places to shop, eat, have fun on the water, and picnic at various parks. An enjoyable week we will always remember - thanks!

We recently rented this beautiful Lake Pepin home and it far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we realized every detail was taken care of for us by Sharon and her husband. The place was immaculate and everything had been thought of including oops towels for spills and wireless internet service. This is a great value and we can't wait for our next trip so we can rent this place again. Sharon and her husband were very friendly and helpful and i guarantee you won't find a better couple to rent from. If your considering Lake Pepin as a destination, stay here, you won't be disappointed and in fact it will make you want to return.

Six friends looking for a mid-week (Tues-Thurs) getaway to start the summer were wondering where to go. We never imagined we would find these lovely surroundings at such a terrific value. The marvelous accommodations allowed everyone to have their 'own space', sometimes upstairs, sometimes down, but plenty of room to roam and for sleeping. We left feeling rested, restored and peaceful. Not only is it a beautiful setting but such a great value we were able to do some shopping in your quaint city. And, it is so close to home we didn't spend half our time on the road. We will recommend it to our friends and we hope to return, also.

Four friends stayed at the Coastal Charm this past week for three days. It was delightful. The decor is tasteful, furnishing are great quality, kitchen is well furnished. The area offers many things to do and see. We ate at wonderful restaurants. John and Sharon are kind hosts. We would highly reccomend this location for a great get away!

Although a few weeks have passed since our stay it is still fresh in our minds. I am a long-timre resident of the Lake City area and over the past summer months had family coming to town for a reunion. I reserched virtually every presentable vacation rental in the area and decided to go with this one. The accomodations, hospitality, cleanliness, and overall experience was second to none! I am familiar with the area, and would recommend this charming "condo" to anyone visiting!!! Truly the best vacation rental around!
