This condo is a great place to stay. It's comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated. It's a great value with everything you will need for a short or extended stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large with plenty of places to stash clothes and other necessities. The kitchen has everything needed plus more. The owners are very responsive with any problems that may come up. Their properties can be rented depending on how many people will be staying so you can choose the amount of space you require. It's a great policy when there are only two people. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Mother - daughter retreat

We had a great time. Sharon and John were great. The house was exactly as described and wonderful. We felt welcomed and Sharon had maps of the neighboring towns and local businesses information in Lake City, such as places to eat, things to do. We saw eagles right out our living room window fishing in Lake Pepin and landing in the tree across the street to eat their fish. I would highly recommend Coastal Charm. Thanks Sharon and John.

Great Location, Charming, Extremely Clean and Well Stocked

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lake City. We were there for a girls get-away weekend. The owners of this property have thought of every detail, including providing information about the surrounding area. The property was very clean, very nicely decorated, and provided ample space for us to watch movies, cook, and just hang out. Sharon greeted us when we arrived and walked us through the property. It's a great location to explore the surrounding areas. It also provides a great view of the lake located across the street. The only downside is that it is located on a busy road, so you do get some road noise in the house.

The Perfect Place!!

Thank you John and Sharon for such a wonderful vacation in Lake City!! We had the BEST time at your vacation home!! Not only was ever amenity taken care of, your hospitality and care to detail really made our first experience with VRBO fantastic! My husband, two small children and I stayed at this house with my parents. Though there were six of us, we never felt cramped (with the 3 bedroom option). The kids just loved the bunk bed and extra living room! The great room with kitchen, dining and living was so up-to-date and open. We were able to host a few different nights, with our family we were visiting, and every one was in awe at the beauty of this place! The kitchen and barbeque made meals a breeze.Every necessary item was available- all we had to bring was the food! !There were even margarita cups and plasticware for eating outside!) One of our favorite activities was going on the motor boat ride on Lake Pepin, with John and Sharon. We also loved that we could walk to the lake and the downtown area, great location You two are such wonderful hosts, we considered you an extension of the family we were visiting! Whenever we get to return to Lake City, you are our #1 choice!! Thank you again! The Nikula's and the Daluddung's :)

We traveled from AZ to spend time with our two granddaughters who live in Belle Plaine, MN. We had searched many properties in the Mpls. & Rochester area, on line, before choosing this one. We stayed at this unbelieveably beautiful townhouse for 8 nights. Every detail has been considered in making this one of the most comfortable and enjoyable vacations we've ever had. We are very impressed with details like the lavender scented sheets, super comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and stunning decor. Everything was first class and totally immaculate. We and the girls felt so comfortable and at home. Sharon & John are the perfect hosts, warm, friendly, interested and sincere. Family and friends came for afternoon visits and were stunned by the beauty of the townhouse, awesome lake views from most rooms, and the Lake City area We visited Wabasha, the Eagle Ctr., Lark Toys, the overlook in Alma, Nelson's cheese factory. Also enjoyed the parks in Lake City, picnicing, swimming, and beaches. Thought we'd head into LaCrosse and LaCresent, but were having so much fun we didn't do that this trip. So many friends from Cannon Falls, MN said they'd forgotten how beautiful Lake City is and they plan on staying at this property in the future!! We have no doubt that even the most discriminating person will be very, very pleased. Quiet, relaxing, just wonderful!! Thank you Sharon & John!! Karen, Larry, Jazmine and Jaceanna.

My sister-in-laws and I spent a week here and thoroughly loved our stay! The townhouse is very nicely decorated and John & Sharon, the owners, have remembered everything. Very comfortable and homey place with a nice view of the lake. Great place to relax!! Can't wait to come back again next year!!!

What a GREAT rental home!

I spent a week here with my family attending a reunion in town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous home. The decor is a relaxing beach/coastal theme. The furniture & beds were all very comfortable. We hosted a couple of meals for the reunion gang at this house using the spacious back yard for a BBQ and also serving breakfasts in the open dining room. The air conditioning was a god-send during our week of humid high temps. Lake Pepin and Lake City are wonderful places to shop, eat, have fun on the water, and picnic at various parks. An enjoyable week we will always remember - thanks!

We recently rented this beautiful Lake Pepin home and it far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we realized every detail was taken care of for us by Sharon and her husband. The place was immaculate and everything had been thought of including oops towels for spills and wireless internet service. This is a great value and we can't wait for our next trip so we can rent this place again. Sharon and her husband were very friendly and helpful and i guarantee you won't find a better couple to rent from. If your considering Lake Pepin as a destination, stay here, you won't be disappointed and in fact it will make you want to return.

Six friends looking for a mid-week (Tues-Thurs) getaway to start the summer were wondering where to go. We never imagined we would find these lovely surroundings at such a terrific value. The marvelous accommodations allowed everyone to have their 'own space', sometimes upstairs, sometimes down, but plenty of room to roam and for sleeping. We left feeling rested, restored and peaceful. Not only is it a beautiful setting but such a great value we were able to do some shopping in your quaint city. And, it is so close to home we didn't spend half our time on the road. We will recommend it to our friends and we hope to return, also.

We rented this vacation home over Labor Day weekend this year for our out of town family. There was a total of 9 guests and all sleep comfortably. John and Sharon were so easy to work with. They returned our phones calls very quickly which made the whole reservation process a breeze.

Four friends stayed at the Coastal Charm this past week for three days. It was delightful. The decor is tasteful, furnishing are great quality, kitchen is well furnished. The area offers many things to do and see. We ate at wonderful restaurants. John and Sharon are kind hosts. We would highly reccomend this location for a great get away!

Although a few weeks have passed since our stay it is still fresh in our minds. I am a long-timre resident of the Lake City area and over the past summer months had family coming to town for a reunion. I reserched virtually every presentable vacation rental in the area and decided to go with this one. The accomodations, hospitality, cleanliness, and overall experience was second to none! I am familiar with the area, and would recommend this charming "condo" to anyone visiting!!! Truly the best vacation rental around!
