  Moon Shadow was wonderful. Everything was well thought out. Extra plugins were provided. A plug panel at the bar was perfect for computers, charging phones, etc. The kitchen was thoughtfully planned. We cooked thanksgiving there and didn't need anything but a roaster for the turkey. I brought my own. The place is roomy and comfortable. Furnishings and art work were lovely. The property is well maintained. Lots of outdoor furniture. Loved the covered balcony. Plenty of parking. We had two SUVs and two sedans parked there with room to spare. The description of the amenities and the property were dead on. While some would think the weather was not great, I always say a bad day at the beach is better than a good day at home. We had a wonderful two week stay. I was by myself several and felt very safe. Loretta was very personable and helpful. All instructions were clearly presented. I also want to say a big thank you for letting me bring our mini dachshund. He loved the home, the beach not so much ;-] We hopefully were good pet owners for the home. I would recommend this property to almost anyone. If you have trouble with stairs this wouldn't be the place. I would go to Moon Shadow again, that is how much I liked the place. Thanks for letting us "borrow" your home, Faye and Al

  I agree with all the other great reviews of this house. From the beautiful way it is decorated, it's front porch and view of the ocean, the great hospitality of the owners, the golf cart and all of the chairs umbrellas etc that come along with it. My family had the best week just soaking up the sun and being carefree. I would highly recommend this house and already have to many of my friends. We loved the village and all the neighbors were super nice. We will definately come back!

  We could not have asked for more,clean, close to everything. Golf cart was great,even chairs, and coolers for the beach. Looking forward to return trip.. Owners are great to work with!!

  Would like to give a bad review so we could keep this place empty and open for us but can't,this place is awesome the home is so clean,upto date and clean(i said that already but it is) the view,you can watch the people the traffic the ocean all from the bar stools on the porch,never boring,love the place and thanks to the owners for a great place to go.

  We loved everything about the rental house. We had an amazing time the views are excellent, and the golf is amazing. The owners are very nice. I promise that you won't be dissapointed. We will go back once every year. I can't wait to go back !!!!

  Our stay at Moonshadow was great ! The view was wonderful from the deck !The house was just what we expected because ot the great communication with the home owner. We would recommend this home to anyone when visiting the Mytle Beach area.

  My family and I loved Moonshadow! The view was terrific and we loved sitting on the porch early in the morning and late at night enjoying the view. The home was beautifully decorated and matched the pictures that are listed on the website. The home was immaculate and very comfortable, even more beautiful in person, with room for all of us to enjoy and relax at night after fun at the beach and touring around Myrtle Beach. We had a great week at Oceanside and our grandson loved the beach and searching for seashells. We look forward to coming back next year!

  We stayed at Moon Shadow the last week of May. The weather was perfect! And this house has everything you could possibly need and more! We did not have to bring beach chairs, the kids toys or even boogie boards. It was all provided! There were five us who stayed there, my husband, my two children, who are 1 and 5 years old, my mother in law and myself. The beach was right across the street which was perfect because that meant that we could drive the super fun golf cart there, which my children just loved! We also spent lots of time feeding the ducks and walking the neighborhood. Since we didnt have to bring our own beach chairs and toys, we had room in the car to bring the kids bikes which they rode around the neighborhood and under the house where it was all shaded and kept us out of the sun for awhile The restaurant across the street was great too. My favorite part was being able to sit on the large deck with my coffee in the morning and watch the sun rise. This house is super clean and it is the perfect beach house. I can not wait to go back next year!!!

  My husband found "Moon Shadow" on-line and were immediately taken with the beautiful photos provided of the house and the view. We were looking for a summer home where we would have easy access to the beach, close proximity to restaurants and a wonderful view from the house where we could relax and spend a quality family vacation with our three children ages 9, 7 and 4. And, Moon Shadow was exactly that place! The house was meticulously decorated and provided everything you could need for your week at the shore. And, the view is AMAZING! It was wonderful to sit at the dining room table and be able to see the water! And, of course, the view from the deck was phenomenal! In addition, from the time we booked through the time we left Moon Shadow, we had various questions, etc. And, whenever we would reach out to the owners, we would get a timely, detailed response. They were very helpful, kind and responsive. And, this fantastic interaction with the owners helped my husband and I feel very comfortable with traveling over 12 hours to this destination we found and booked solely on-line because we knew that what we saw on-line and what we heard from the owners was going to be exactly what we were expecting....and, it was! We would absolutely recommend Moon Shadow!

  This was our first vacation we've taken in years with the kids and I was so excited about finding Moon Shadow. The pictures and information about the beach house were wonderful and I couldn't wait to get our dates reserved. I was thankful that Loretta and Mike allowed pets, because we couldn't think about leaving the pugs at home, since they are part of the family. Upon our arrival we were amazed just how the beach house looked, just like the pictures. It was nice and clean and had everything a family would need to make themselves at home. Even though it rained for a couple of days and it was cloudy, we still enjoyed the stay. The covered porch was amazing, along with the spectacular views!! We spent alot of time out there. We definitely will go back in 2013!! If you want a wonderful place to stay with spectacular views, etc., Moon Shadow is it!! Thank you Loretta and Mike... the Michael Family
