Located just 7 minutes from the Ocoee River, 1996 summer olympic whitewater rafting and kayak center, 20 min to Historic Ridge Ridge & the Historic Train Ride & Beautiful Blue Ridge Lake and Marina. This cozy rustic cabin sits on 3.4 acres overlooking a beautiful mountain fed small lake for swimming and great fishing. Fishing boat included.
Golf lovers, directly across from the main road is the COPPER BASIN Golf Club and swimming pool: a small daily rate of $30 for 18 holes including golf cart and a $5 fee for the use of the swimming pool. All other amenities are just minutes away.
You may just prefer to relax in our hot tub overlooking the lovely wooded area and picturesque view of the lake or lounge on the upper deck enjoying the romantic sunsets glistening over the water.
Have your morning coffee on the upper deck, a great inspiration for starting off a new day.
You will love the decor of our country furnishings.
3 bedrooms consist of a king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom and twin beds in the third bedroom. In addition, a futon is located in the den.
The dining room will accommodate 8 guests.
For you barbecue chefs, it's all right there next to the picnic table. Following that great outdoor meal, what could be more fun than sitting around the fire pit!

WE HAVE ALWAYS SAID THAT "YOU HAVE TO SEE THE WORLD BEFORE YOU LEAVE IT." DAVE AND I HAVE BEEN VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE HAD WONDERFUL TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES. BUT THERE IS STILL NO OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD LIKE THIS GREAT USA.
HOWEVER, WE CAME HERE TO VISIT THE NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS AND FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS PEACEFUL GODS COUNTRY AND VERY SHORTLY AFTER, DECIDED THAT THIS IS WHERE WE WOULD RETIRE. SO INSPIRED , AND REALIZING HOW MANY PEOPLE CAME HERE FOR VACATIONS, WE WANTED TO SHARE, WITH OTHERS, THESE BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAINS, AND THAT WAS WHAT MOTIVATED US IN PURCHASING OUR LOVELY DUCKTOWN, TN RENTAL CABIN.

FRIENDS COULD NOT BELIEVE THE WE WOULD MAKE THIS LIFESTYLE TRANSITION, THAT IS UNTIL THEY COME TO VISIT.
I UNDERSTAND THAT 40% OF OUR POPULATION IN THIS VICINITY ARE FLORIDIANS, MOST OF US ARE HERE FOR THE SAME REASONS, "CHASING OUR DREAMS".
