We stayed in Budapest for several days in Sept. The accommodations were great and the location was excellent. Llazso greeted us at the airport and gave us a tour of the city the next day. He was very helpful in learning how to use the local transportation system, location of money exchange and even booked a lovely evening cruise for us. My only complaint was that we did not stay longer in this enchanting city. Staying in the Buda side allowed us a flavor of being a local but yet good access to the tourist areas. Will definitely return with more friends and family to visit. Where will we stay...no question...at this bed and breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast this Summer. Lazlo, our host, could not have been any nicer. With his vast knowledge of Hugarian history, we hired him as a tour guide one day, which was fabulous. We have a large family and the place suited us nicely. It's located on the Buda side, but is within walking distance of many places, and very close to a bus stop. We spent over a month traveling throughout Europe, and I must say this was one of our favorite stops.

This apartment was our favorite that we stayed in during our 2 week vacation through Eastern Europe (Sorry Edith - we enjoyed Vienna as well). The apartment is large, the beds are comfy, the breakfast (prepared by the owner) was delicious. But the best part of the stay was the owner, Laszlo. He made us feel so welcome. His city tour was informative without being touristy, all of his recommendations were fantastic. He knows the city so well and made sure we were comfortable with our surroundings during our stay. The apartment is in a great location, in a residential apartment area so it is quiet, yet close to everything by walking, bus or subway. My 2 teenage boys are already asking when they can go back to Budapest and especially they want to see Laszlo. We will definitely be back and feel as though we have made a friend for life!!!
