Bayshore Retreat is a brand new 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath, multiple living room home built right on the Corpus Christi Bay and nestled into a small community 10 minutes from Corpus Christi or Port Aransas.
You and your family and friends will be absolutely amazed by the serenity and views of the ocean both day and night from 2 balconies or just the front lawn. This home is right on the water with a long fishing pier, gazebo's, and park walkways that will enchant your family and friends to return time and time again.
You can fish, kayak, swim, jet ski, boat, etc... right from your front lawn in blue bay waters that you've never found along the Texas coastline. We've also outfitted the home with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, beautiful tile, large dining room and bar tops to make your stay comfortable. My family looked for a place like this for years during trips along the Texas coastline. We finally found it in Bayshore Retreat, and you will too. Call us for booking or more information.

I absolutely recommend the beach house. Our stay was very pleasant and lots of fun. The house is clean and well furnished. This house has everything you need ..cooking utensils, bath towels, coffee maker and much more. The water view is really nice. We saw a variety of boats which was interesting. We fished from the pier, which was pretty awesome. We caught a variety of fish, but we tossed them back in the water. My brother caught a stingray...cool to see up close but also creepy. During our few day visit, we were amazed at how close the dolphins came into the pier area. We definitely hope to use this house in any future visits to Ingleside,Tx.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have always loved vacationing in TX along the gulf coast. Years ago we always stayed in a hotel on the beach, but our family has long since outgrown staying there. This year we decided to rent a house. We have 8 adults and 6 children under 5. This house COULD NOT have been more perfect! It was located in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view of the bay. There were 2 large bay facing balconies off the 2 large family rooms, that provided safe outdoor playing space for the kids. Everything was spotless. The kitchen is very well equipped. Being able to do laundry there was so helpful. So kid friendly, with toddler gates, pack-n-plays, a toddler bed etc. Owner very prompt to answer emails and nice to deal with. The photos of the property are just as we found it. At about half way between Corpus Christi and Port Aransas it was quick and easy to enjoy the beaches, see the Lex., museums, go out to eat, or go shopping. I would highly recommend this lovely home, and plan to try and get it again when we return in 2-3 years.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I recently stayed at this wonderful home for a family weekend. This house was perfect for my parents, brother, sister, their spouses, who were along with my husband and I. The home was the perfect central location for any activities that my family wanted to participate in. My husband and brother-in-law were able to fish on the pier in front of the house and later drove 10 minutes into Port Aransas to fish. While my sister and mom traveled the 20 minutes to go quilt shopping in Corpus, my sister-in-law and I chose to drive to Aransas Pass for spa-like R and R. The home was very comfortable for all of us. The two living areas served their purpose when some family members were playing a card game and watching movies, as others were watching other movies upstairs. All of the rooms were extremely accommodating and well kept. With the spaciousness of the kitchen and main living area, all of us were able to sit at the table and bar to enjoy our meals together. I was excited to see that the house had all of the conveniences and supplies needed to make our stay worth while. The whole experience at the home was amazing, from the incredible sunrise from the balconies to the peacefulness of the cozy retreat and community. My family and I will definitely be returning here and wholehearted recommend this property for anyone's family getaway.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The view of the bay was magnificent! Convenience to the house and parking were good. The upstairs air conditioner didn't work when we arrived; the first day and night it was 88 deg upstairs - intolerable for sleeping. My guests staying upstairs slept downstairs on the floor for the first night. The unit was repaired by 3 pm or so the next afternoon and worked well after that. Linens on the beds were questionable; there was no top sheet, only a questionable comforter on top of a bottom sheet on all of the beds; we washed and changed the sheets before sleeping in the beds. Towels were clean but old. It lacked adequate drinking glasses for adults; there was an ample supply of child cups but, except for a few styrofoam cups, there were no drinking tumblers. Other cooking utensils were old and worn but adequate; there was no knife sharpener and the knives were extremely dull. The carpeting definitely needs to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced. Window treatments in the master bedroom were of a painter's type masking paper and looked awful. Towel holders, TP holders, and a mirror in an upstairs bath were falling down. The house was definitely lacking in maintenance and general house keeping. To enter the front door, a key must be always used (it could not be left unlocked) which was a bit of an inconvenience. All in all, an okay place, with a good location, except considering the price, unless many improvements are made, especially with maintenance and house keeping, I would NOT rent the property again and I will NOT recommend it.Owner response: We appreciate the input and have addressed the issues that were brought to our attention by this review. Many of our upgrades include: new bedding linens and towels, updated draperies in the master bedroom, new cooking utensils, additional cookware, repairs of towel holders, etc. We hope that we can accommodate you and your family on any vacation getaway you may seek.

The property is lovely...very spacious and the beach area was great. We enjoyed the view of the shipping lane and watching the fishermen out in the water (up to their armpits in waders!). It was close to other lovely beaches and a waterpark for the days that the undertow was an issue. There are a lot of stairs so unless you are capable of climbing steps or can get up once and are happy to sit and watch from the deck (which a couple of our party did) it is not condusive for those with any issues climbing...you have to climb stairs to the front door and from the front foyer to the first floor as well as to the second floor but there IS a master bedroom and half bath on the first floor (as well as a living area, the kitchen and dining room and laundry room. The second floor living area was great as a children's play area. There are 3 bedrooms, two full baths and an extra toilet area up there as well as HUGE closets. The space is remarkable with 3 full and one 1/2 bath and two of the baths have TWO toilts so it was great for 8 adults and 7 children! The bedrooms and pull out couches worked well and there are extra baby beds and a toddler bed stored in a closet so we were able to sleep everyone comfortably. Would suggest that you go to the house first and see what is there before shopping...things are left and depending on when the last renters were there, you may not need some things. Only pans we needed were roasting pans and we just bought throw away ones. HINT: There is a wine cooler there and we used it for wine, wine coolers and beer...it was great! It was a very nice weeks stay and we would recommend a stay most highly.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This home was just perfect for our family reunion. The view at sunset, with the sunlight reflecting across the bay, was a gathering moment we deeply enjoyed. The large windows gave us great views of large ships passing by within a mile of the home. The beds were so comfortable that we didn't plan any activities until noon. There is just so much wide open space in the kitchen and living rooms that a couple dozen people could feel comfortable.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

We stayed here for our annual family Christmas trip and it was absolutely perfect. This practically brand-new home is gorgeous with fantastic views from its many balconies. It has a beautiful design with very nice, high quality furniture. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We would definitely love to come back again.Did you find this review helpful? Best place on the Texas coast my family has ever stayed! The views on the website are nice but do not duplicate the beautiful views from the balconies day and night or the elegant furnishings and comfortable mattresses that outfit the place. We will be coming back in July. Please reserve us a spot.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 6/6
