  We very much enjoyed our time at the condo. Everything was spacious and we had lots of space for all five people. The only setback was the kitchen was not as fully equipped as I expected. We prepared our full Thanksgiving dinner there, and had to improvise a lot. Otherwise, wonderful! Would definitely stay there again.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

  A spacious holiday home in a perfect location. Falling in love with Folly is so easy when you are staying an such a beautifully maintained property right on the beach and so close to town. My family and I enjoyed two perfect weeks in the sun and were pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail - everything was as described on the website if not better. We loved having our own private walkway to the beach and a shower at ground level to prevent up dragging all that sand up to the property! The teenagers loved having internet access - while the adults were happier watching the sun rise or set from the balcony overlooking that beautiful beach as the dolphins swam by. A short walk to town offered endless choices for dining and entertainment (& surf-board hire!). A short drive offered the opportunity to sample the delights of Charleston, Fort Sumter, etc. A wonderful time was had by all!

  Pleasently surprised how nice Michael's place was/is - couldn't ask for anything more, especially for the price. Clean, well equipped, everything you need in a home away from home. Location is wonderful, and the beach is great - right outside your back door (meals on the deck over looking the ocean were amazing). The pictures we brought back have all of our friends wanting to go now (Michael, don't be surprised if you get a few call form Colorado) Located at a part of the beach where lifeguards are present, the beach is maintained by the city, and close enough to the pier to take advantage of their amenities, but also far enough away for it not to be intrusive. Great spot for families of all ages. Even plenty of beach toys in the storage unit (mostly left by previous tenants - we left a few ourselves). The storage could be cleaned up and organizied a little though. Who would not like this place? Someone looking for: -A big private house -A secluded beach -Likes spending extra money to impress friend how much they spent on their vacation (resorts are for). So happy I made this selection for our family. Wife and kids were happy also - which makes for the best vacations.

  Listing info very accurate, Photos accurate, Property clean, Owners are great to work with, quick to return all inquires, we have been staying with them about 6 years. Will definitely be back next year.

  Loved, Loved, Loved the location. Right on the beach and a block from Center Street. Had a miscommunication about the parking pass but got the folks at Rita's (restaurant a block away) to help us with it. Stores and restaurants nearby are good and fun. Michael was very responsive to requests and needs. In fact, his quick response to our request is why we selected the condo. EXTREMELY fast in returning deposit for which we are very appreciative. The condo was what was presented in the listing. The building has an elevator which was not necessary for us but did make load in and out easier. There is a collection of beach chairs and amenities in closet downstairs. Disappointed there is not a grill but this may be due to Folly Beach regulations. Being a bit picky, I did think the place could use a coat of paint and minor cosmetic repair (but then, so does my house,) but I hasten to add that I would and do recommend the property for anyone who has a small group, likes being on the oceanfront and wants to be in walking distance to restaurants, bars and stores. And, the fishing pier is yards away. I absolutely love Folly Beach and Charleston in general. Went to James' Island ( 10 minutes away) that has a cool little movie theater, wonderful restaurant (Zia Taqueria) and a fun antique store (did I say we had a little rain that week?) If you have a chance to visit downtown Charleston, please do so. Or just take in the beach since it is your back yard for the time you are there. Oh, check out Bowen's Island Restaurant, which is about one mile away for the beach. But you better like fried seafood. Lastly, let me reaffirm that I would definitely return for a week at this condo. Thanks a lot Michael and Debbie

  The condo location was exactly as it was listed. It was on the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The interior of the condo was clean and well maintained, however the furniture in the main living area and especially on the balcony showed significant signs of wear. The owner was easily accessible, gave fabulous directions, was pleasant to communicate with and always prompt in responding. We loved the color the condo was painted inside and the view from the balcony was amazing! The rooms were spacious and I loved being able to wash our clothes and cook meals. We appreciated the life guards on the beach and felt that they genuinely cared about the well-being of the guests and their children. This was a great location to take our family on a vacation.

  The location of the condo was perfect. We were able to walk to the local establishments and we enjoyed walking out on the pier as well as daily walks on the beautiful beach. We hit the highway and in a 15 minute drive or less we were in downtown Charleston to soak in the entire tourist experience. The condo was wonderfully stocked, clean and beautiful. Michael made the renting of this condo easy. It was everything stated and more. Great unit. We highly recommend it and if we ever venture to Charleston, SC again, we already know where to stay!
