A completely remodeled and updated Beach Cottage. Just a 3 minute walk to the public beach and surrounded by the bay with access to benches for watching the sunrise or fishing. A Zen-like atmosphere with Bamboo Floors, Brand new stainless appliances, Travertine and glass master bath with walk-in shower. Granite countertops, Bamboo shades, Original Art work by a local artist and Asian antiques throughout.

Outside covered Patio with BBQ and room to set up a volleyball net in the side yard. New Leather furniture with a 42" flat screen TV and DVD player. Wireless Broadband Internet and cable provided. There is a 20" Flat screen TV with DVD player in main Bedroom. Eco Smart washer and Dryer in Laundry room with 2nd bath.
For The Beach! - Beach towels and mats, cooler, and fold-up canvas camping chairs supplied also.

Only 25 minutes from Tampa International airport. Public transportation up and down the beaches.

Use of 'sit on top' kayaks from owners (who live nearby), trolley that runs up and down beaches from Clearwater to Pass A Grille so no car needed. Skydiving only 1 hour away with specials from owners on Tandem Skydives. Beautiful Downtown St Petersburg is only 20 minutes away with shopping, Movies, Delis to Fine dining, Theatre in the Park, Antique Stores, great music venues and several Day spas. We are only 25 minutes from Tampa International and easy 1.5 hours from Disney World, SeaWorld, Pleasure Island and Discovery Cove, where you can swim with Dolphins . Only 45 minutes from Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. There is a great coffee shop right across the Blvd to the beach and restaurants, pubs, Thai food, seafood and fine dining within walking distance.

  • This is a way overdue comment since we stayed at the cottage in May 2009 and it's already September! However, I fully enjoyed my stay at this cottage. It has everything one would need for an incredible vacation right beside the beach. It was our first time in Florida and stay at Redington Shores. The cottage is clean, modern, and fully loaded with necessities and much more. The bedrooms are comfortable with nice beddings, the bathrooms are clean and the shower is spa-like, the kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, and the living room has a great, big screen TV. All in all, perfect! I'd recommend this cottage in a heartbeat and I would defintely stay here again, which I am planning to in the very near future. Thanks Nigel and Greta for everything!

  • My family just spent two weeks in the cottage and could not have been more impressed. We spend about 6 weeks a year in Florida and this is an excellent choice. Everything was new and the home was spotless. It's a short block to the beach and very private. The owners could not have been nicer. We look forward to returning at the first chance we have. Great value and location. Don't pass it up.

  • Everything about our experience renting this cottage was so positive - from making arrangements with the owner to our wonderful week there. We have rented numerous times in various parts of the country and this home is by far our favorite. The owners truly want you to have a relaxing time. It has very comfortable furnishings, all the amenities you could want, beautiful private outdoor areas and it's a very short walk to the beach. It is truly a gem! Did I mention the beds are awesome and the home was immaculate? Don't pass this one up!

  • The Zen Cottage is a delightful vacation home!!! The furnishings and appliances are of the highest quality. The owners thought of everything in providing a vacation home that is not only beautiful but very comfortable. It is so tastefully decorated in a Zen theme and the Asian antiques are a great addition. The kitchen appliances (large and small) and cooking supplies are excellent. The inlet location is beautful and the proximity to the gulf and activities make this a great vacation spot. We enjoyed the linai,the quiet neighborhood, walks to the beach and beautiful sunsets.
